Hi all, I am looking into generating a PWM signal using the Timers and route it to the PA5 pin to blink the LED, but PA5 does not have a TIM routed to it. I thought about just having a timer work in my code and toggle the pin every second by checking the counter register, but is there any better / cleaner way to use PWM with the LED pin on this model?Thank you!

I am trying to access the APS6404 PSRAM with QuadSPI on STM32H743. For some reason, indirect-writes are fine; but as soon as I try an inderect-read (one-line, typical SPI essentially) the communication stalls. By stalling I mean the SR register is always "Busy" (== 32), but there is no data in FIFO, reading DR stalls the processor (since there's no data in the FIFO, the memory read operation stalls).I don't think it's a problem with the IC, since something must be received anyway - this is SPI, after all. There's nothing really complex in my code, just setting the CCR register appropriately and AR register then. I've also tried adding dummy bits, but that does not help at all. Both F407 and H743 ADC input add DC-bias to AC connected inputs, very handy, but I would like to have the specifications for this feature, perhaps even a circuit diagram explaining how the MCU averages the AC input above ground as needed.I have read the Intro to ADCs AN4861 and the datasheets but must have overlooked the relevant information.

Hello,My MCU is STM32L053R8I use freeRTOS project generated by CubeMX.The problem is happening only  when I enable tickless sleep. I get only one correct reading, which is probably generated right after MX_RNG_Init. Then after the sleep, I always get `LL_RNG_IsActiveFlag_CECS(RNG) == 1`I call `LL_RNG_Enable(RNG)` and `LL_RNG_Disable(RNG)` before and after `LL_RNG_ReadRandData32()` It looks like HSI does not start after the sleep. In the documentation I found that it is indeed deactivated if there is no periphery connected which can run in stop mode. But I did not find, how it should be started properly.

As we are using STM32H723ZG-CT6 for our Medical project. We are using STM's Complement to STMH7 series - Azure RTOS for our project. We were runs totally 8 threads, during the running time of threads Hard fault error is coming and our controller stops run, and hangs upto we hit reset again. We can't able to find the solutions yet, please guide us to solve this issue. where we want to look either RTOS related things or Some Hardware related things to solve this issue.

I create sample code for FLASH Erase Program on both mdk arm and stm32cubeide. Using the sample hardware(stm32h563ZITx develop board), the sample code runs correctly on stm32cubeide, but will enter Error hander when doing Flash operation in keil debug mode.:if (HAL_FLASHEx_Erase(&EraseInitStruct, &SectorError) != HAL_OK){while (1){Error_Handler();}} The C code for two project are the same. The only difference is IDE. This issue only occurs in debug mode. If I download the code into flash without entering debug mode, the code will successfully run. By debugging, I find FLASH_NS->NSSR was set as 0x0040000 when I get into the main function of debug mo

I'm having an issue with my STM32F303RE. I'm using CubeMX to initialize ADC1_IN1 as single ended on PA0, and PWM generation on TIM2_CH1 on PA15. Unfortunately, PA0 will OUTPUT a voltage roughly proportional with the duty cycle of the PWM on PA15, i.e. setting the PWM (again, supposed to be on PA15) to 50% duty cycle results in about 1.5V on PA0. The PWM on PA15 is generated correctly. The PA0 voltage looks like a noisy but constant signal, it doesn't have the PWM signal "shape". PA0 is itself compatible with TIM2_CH1, so I guess something is bleeding over somewhere. Please help me fix this programmatically, I'm really not keen on redoing my circuit.

I have a Nucleo F303ZE and enabled USB Device middleware along with the USB 'Device FS' Connectivity.  I also configured the CDC_SET_LINE_CODING and CDC_GET_LINE_CODING  functions in USB_DEVICE/App/usbd_cdc_if.c I connect a USB cable to the STLink connector as usual which powers the board.  I then connect a USB cable to the CN13 usb port but the PC does not 'detect' this new USB connection.  I run 'lsusb' on my linux machine and only see the STLink connection, but not the second USB connection.Any ideas on what I may have missed?Thanks

Hello everyone,I'm currently working on an STM32L433 microcontroller and, considering cost and space-saving aspects, I opted to implement an EEPROM emulation library. While I've been going through the related documents, I've encountered a few uncertainties about its functionality.Initially, I intended to store a 32-byte string and conducted some tests on an F4 Nucleo board using the STM-provided test code files. However, the method I observed for saving the string into memory seemed weird. It required dividing the string into 32 parts and storing them sequentially, leading to 32 memory erase operation. This approach appears highly inefficient. (I'd like to mention that I plan to perform this operation a maximum of 20 times a day.
