STM32 MCUs Products

Hi,I'm having problems with STM32H723VET6 (100 pin device) and ULPI using USB3343. After ULPI reset USB3343 starts the USB clock (60MHz). But when I enable MCU ULPI clock with __HAL_RCC_USB1_OTG_HS_ULPI_CLK_ENABLE() the USB clock is stopped and never turns on again. This results in timeout errors in HAL_PCD_Init() so USB never starts up.Everything else seems to work. I have already tried 2 sets of STM32H723VET6 and USB3343 chips but the error is exactly the same.I have used STM32H723ZGT6 (144 pin device) with USB3343 on previous designs without any issues so this should not be a problem of my design.Has anybody used USB HS successfully with STM32H723VET6? 

Hi,someone knows where the Backup SRAM is located on STM32H563 (at which address)? I didn't find it in the documentation.Thanks

Hello,All of the interrupt handling routines in startup_stm32f765xx.s are marked as WEAK linker references. However it appears that some routines can not be overwritten. SysTick_Handler (sorry) is one of those. There are many solutions posted in the forums to address duplicate function references but it appears to me that this should not be an issue.Is there a problem with the toolchain? It seems like every time I start a new project I need to lookup these work arounds.TIAAllen

Hello,We have a custom board design using STM32F765IITx processor. Trying to configure and generate a working project using the HS USB interface with an external PHY. (USB3315) The project being generated is for Keil (MDK-ARM)The latest versions of STM32CubeMX is installed (v6.10.0) and the latest version of Keil. (v5.38a)I have verified that the Standalone CDC example provided in STM32CubeMX works on the evaluation board. There is only one pin difference between the custom hardware and evaluation board connection to the USB PHY. Made that modification but it doesn't appear to work. Windows sometimes recognizes the USB device but says it is not working.Ideas?Anyone have a link to instructions to build a project with this capability?TIAAllen

Hello,I am new in the STM world.I am using the nucleo-H563ZI deverlopment board and I want to get the virtual COM port to work.On github I found the examples of the Board.https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH5 I opend the project "...\Projects\NUCLEO-H563ZI\Applications\USBX\Ux_Device_HID_CDC_ACM" and compiled it.After that the PC recognize a vitual COM Port. So far so good.Now I want to send or receive Data by the virtual COM port.But I can't find the function for sending or receiving Data. Is there anybody who can help me, please? Best regardsChristian  

I'm working on a board with a STM32L010K.For some reason, I can't get the I2C code to work properly. I mean it works (data gets read from the slave) but not if a lot of things are done in succession, then a hard fault is thrown.Below is the block read code and irq, Tick is a variable that gets incremented by the systemtick,I've checked that actual coms with a saleae logic analyser and it works as expected. But for some reason the end of the block read isn't detected properly isr wise (or so it seems). The only way so far I've managed to get it working is by keeping track of the amount of bytes received and waiting for that, but that can't be the way to go?The strange thing is that if i debug step from line 43 to 44, the stopf bit gets set in the isr for some reason (that's why line 44 removes it again, not that it solved the issue

I tried 3 boards F407vet6 x2 and F427 x1.I found both pullup and pulldown gpio output in PP and OD will put a low voltage. 20mV in down and 50 mv in up.This situation is based on the stdperiph-LibHowever, use the Hal-Lib to implement the gpio output, it will work well.I've tried to search for simillar issues on internet, but none.

Hi everyone,in my latest PRJ, i had to run some arbitrary waveforms. The idea was to connect my STM32H7 to the host and configure it as USB audio device. As far as good...the problem is that i had to drive 60kSps (16Bit). So since i've read on the X-CUBE-USB-AUDIO description, that sampling rates up to 96kHz/24Bit are possible, but from the CUBE device configuration there is the limit to 48kHz.Is this just a CubeMX thing and i can configure my USBD_AUDIO_FREQ to 60000?Thank you!

Hello all together! :)Does anybody know if an internal JTAG device is integrated on the STM32H562 oder STM32H563?In my case, I need to implement the functionality to flash an external microcontroller over the STM32 chip itself.That would mean, I have a "JTAG input" interface for programming the STM32 itself, but also a "JTAG-output" interface to program an external microcontroller. Thank you very much in advance!Best regards,CircuitDev91

I've been trying to implement low power modes on an STM32 L496 (Nucleo board) while using RTOS. I've tried with both freeRTOS and ThreadX. I followed official ST articles/tutorials and the lowest I got so far has been ~250 uA.  So, has anyone been able to achieve current as low as they've mentioned in the articles/tutorials i.e. <10uA on Nucleo board? 

What SDIO interface chip (with a 3.3V host side) are people using these days? The IP4856CX25 (used on the H7 Eval board) is NRND, and I can't seem to find an SDIO interface chip that supports a 3.3V host side. What part should I use for a 3.3V H7 design?

Hi I m using STM32H7 for SPI transmit & receive, the code is working and able to transmit 2 byte successfully as seen from scope, but the inital CS pin was unable to set to high from .ioc. CS = PA4 and set to GPIO output level HIGH and max output speed to Very high, but waveform show low at start and then high to low again... why is this so.  any one can advise how to set CS to high then low initally..

Hi ,We are using the STM32G030C8T6 ,we are looking for a way to update the FW via UART during normal working of our system without changing the IO status during the update .It seems that it jumt to the bootloader and all the IO's become defualt stae.For the first time flash  we are using the ST-LInk. We couldn't find how to do so and if it possible.Regards,Avi 

I am looking for example code to read from the ADC_IN port on the STM32H735G-DK. I know I need to change a 0 Ohm resistor jumper to use it, but some example code to get me started with it would be helpful.

Hello!I am working with the STM32h755 nucleo board. my project is cubemx generated.at first i created simple code that makes each core (m7,m4) to toggle a differenet LED.i see a differnce in the behavior when i am connected with a debugger and without it.it seems that in the M4 core - without debugger presence nothing happens. further inquery showed that the systick isnt working and  the uwTick is stuck on zero! i feel like i am missing something simple since this is cube generated and i have barley touched the project. please advise on how to solve this.. thanks in advance   

I'm using an STM32F373's UART to output MIDI data.  Basiclly the TX USART pin needs to light an LED in the MIDI cable's opto-coupler.  I currently have the TX pin connected directly to the MIDI DIN connector pin through a 200ohm resistor.  I know this is ok to power an LED locally on the PCB, but is this ok if the signal is powering an LED at the end of an external MIDI cable which potentially could be shorted or have power connected into it by mistake?  Should I isolate it the uC's TX pin?  ( was thinking using an 4N35 optoisolator like I did for the MIDI input/USART RX, but wanted to see if there was a more optimal design option.Thanks,

Hi we're using STM32L412RBT6P controller for our development process and NUCLEO-L412RB-P is the evaluation board we've chosen, and the selected controller has  USB 2.0 full-speed crystal less solutionwith LPM and BCD and according to the requirement we need a 4 Port USB HUB and the HUB should have one upstream and 4 downstream ports, please suggest the proper USB HUB  from your product line which suites the requirement which I've mentioned, if it's not there in your product line then please suggest us the compatible HUB for the controller we're using.Thanks,Adithya

Hi ST community,I'm developing an LPBAM use case using the B-U585AI-IOT02A dev board and it will be deployed in an IoT device empowered by an STM32U585 MCU.My application is:1. set up LPBAM such that: RTC wakeup will trigger an I2C3 master transmit and receive (to read the ID of an external sensor)2. enter STOP 2 mode after starting LPBAM3. wake up MCU by EXIT button and print the sensor ID resultFunctional-wise, my application works. However, I found that the MCU current immediately increases to 200 uA after the I2C3 transaction is finished and it stays at 200 uA until the EXIT button is pushed. Whereas my expectation is, that the MCU current rises during the LPBAM I2C transaction and falls back to 4 uA, which is the current before the I2C3 transaction.Since LPBAM is hard to debug, the only abnormality I can find is that SRDSTOP stays low even after the I2C3 transaction completes.Your time and advice is much appreciated!&n
