Hi, I'am currently working on implementing a driver with the AD9959 with the stm32G474re discovery board, I am able to write to all 4 channel to generate any frequencies with any phases with the SPI module, but when I'm trying to read, HAL_SPI_Receive() gives back a receive buffer with zeros values, I don't understand why, is there anyone who is working on some analog device product and encoutered a similar problem, I'm using spi3 on full-duplex master mode, I probe my sck, MISO and MOSI signal, I can see that the MOSI signal have a correct behaviour, but the MISO signal nevet gets updated even though I programed the device to go on single bit 3 wire mode. Insted, the MOSI signal is changing. At first, I though that my write function was wrong, but it doesnt seems to be the case since I can disable the selected channel, and program any frequencies for each channel by having programmed the 3 wire mode, if it's not on 3 wire mode the code don't work anymore. Hi, I'm trying to develop a FW for one of my custom boards that has an ethernet interface.I'm using STM32CubeIDE, I generated the code with the configurator, and without even writing a line of code, if I go into debug, during the initialization of the HAL the code immediately jumps to: void Error_Handler(void){ I wanted to ask, Is there a way to know at which point the code jumped to Error_Handler(void), so as to try to understand where the problem is.In other words, is it possible to run the code backwards or see from which line a certain function was called?

HeyI try to work with the Timer1 in interrupt mode. I saw that Timer1 is belong to APB2 BUS. I configure my source clock to the TIMER1 to 96MHz (picture1),at APB2 Timer Clocks But I saw that the frequency is match to the number on APB2 Peripheral clock (48MHz). (In the interrupt I toggle gpio pin and I measure the frequency with oscilloscope)I try to change the frequency and the configuration of the timer but I still get resault that match to APB2 Peripheral clock label and not to APB2 Timer Clocks.I don't understand what is the source clock of the timer.Thank you very much

Hi CommunityI could use some help regarding UART on the "Bluepill" board so I can get my night sleep back againI'm working on a small project where I'm creating some interrupt driven bit frames on 16 outputs. Each frame is 16mSec long and consists of a 4.3mS start bit followed by 16 data-bits.each with a fixed 310uS low period, a fixed 155uS high period and the last part of each bit it 155us and is low or high dependent on the set valueSo far so good, this part is working very stable and reliable Then I need to receive commands on the UART and use these commands to set the bits in the frames, but I have big problems receiving these commands via the UART.The problem is that sending eg. abc and then cr to the UART is given me aabbbccc\0 in the Command bufferAs a test, looping the received byte back directly in the interrupt handler is given me ee when I send a single e to the UART port. Same for all chars.....I get 2 chars backWhat

Hello,I am experiencing counting errors (specifically overflow counting errors) on LPTIM1.A bit of context first: the goal is to use the LPTIM1 to count pulses which are first treated by the COMP1 (to convert the input signal into an all-or-nothing signal).The first round of testing was realised with an external source of power as COMP1's voltage reference (minus input), and there was no issue with the overflow count (which is necessary to allow counting continuity). Thing is: the final board has to be completely autonomous and use as little resources as possible, including the sources of power.So, the idea was to switch to the DAC as COMP1's voltage reference. Since I've done that, the overflow counting isn't incrementing any more, and the pulse count is wrong. Another round of testing - this time routing COMP1's minus input to an external pin - revealed that if the program is initialised on the external power source, and then switched to the DAC's outpu

Using F401 ADC continuous conversion and DMA for multiple channels.I have pins A0-7, B1, PC0-5 running conversions. For consecutive pins in a group (A0-7) (C0-5), the final pin in use always has a different offset error to the rest. Note this actually means the final /used/ pin in the group, e.g. If all 8 pins in group A are used, pinA7 has a different offset error to the rest. If only the first three 3 are used pinA2 has a different offset error to the rest. Hi, I am currently using two SMT32F207 for I2C transmission (MASTER writes SLAVE). Below is my configuration and waveform diagram.The problem currently encountered is that once the bit changes from 1 to 0 (HIGH to LOW)The transmission of SCL and SDA will be delayed for a period of time, but this will not happen when it goes from 0 to 1. I would like to ask seniors how to solve this problem? The way I connect is to connect the SCL, SDA and GND of the two pieces to each other. (PB8 is connected to PB8, PB9 is connected to PB9), both blocks use I2C1 configuration, then MASTER uses interrupt transmission, and SLAVE uses interrupt reception. GPIO:SCL:PB8SDA:PB9

I use two Nucleo-G0B1RE to communicate with each other using UART. UART5 of the master board is connected with UART1 of the slave board and both of the UARTs use DMA receive. When I first pressed the reset button of the slave board and then the master board, they could communicate successfully, but when I first pressed reset of master board and then slave board, the slave could transmit message but the master could NOT receive it. The only difference is the Power-on Sequence. what is the difference between UART detected another UART as soon as it is power on   and   UART detected after a short time.

I am using a STM32F373 with the USB Middleware set to 'Communication Device Class (Virtual Port Com)'.Is it possible to have it 'act' as a UART or SPI type port, or do I need to hook into the USB library to TX/RX data over USB?  I currently use USART2 with a USB->SERIAL converter connected between my PC and STM32, but would like to eliminate the need to have it if I can find a way to get the built-in USB Middleware to act as a converter. I'm also looking at using a FTDI FT231XS-U IC as an on-board USB->Serial converter so only a plain USB cable is needed to connect the board.Thanks,

Hi  In the figure below, FIFO1 filter bank 7 and filter bank 10 have the same settings. If the ID list is 16bit, I think it is correct to have 4 Filter Nums. There are two filter banks 7, 4 and 5. Is this correct? 

Hi team thanks for your coperation with me. I have been trying to enable MDIO peripheral At one of the STM32 EVK kit(NUCLEO-H7A3ZI). What i could see, when i have gone through the MDIO's official block diagram. The MDC pin drew as input and MDIO as bi directional. The following questions are given below. I know master should be driven the MDC clock. In my case, isn't the nucleo-h7a3ziMDIO slave? Why we require MDIO Slave in the stm32 products. I think, we require only MDIO Master. Am i correct? Could you please find my attachments?  

In my project I am using STM32G030k8, in which I need to use 6 ADC channels and 2 of them are Pa11 and PA12PA9 and PA8 as gpio .I couldn't able to configure PA11 and PA12 what is the alternate way to use that channel

I am using an STM32G474 to create an inverting buck-boost converter, but after damaging a few boards, I realized that there is a series design issue that could short 24V to ground through an inductor if the HRTIM output pin ever goes high unexpectedly.  Here is a clip from the schematic:Note that if the top MOSFET of the half-bridge gets switched on for longer than a few microseconds, there will essentially be a short from 24V to ground through L1.Is there a way that I can significantly reduce the chances of this happening under the following conditions?When using the debugger.When flashing new code.Whe

I have a design that uses two HRTIM outputs from an STM32G474 MCU to provide a PWM signal to two external half-bridge gate drivers to drive two DSMPS, a buck converter and an inverting buck-boost converter.  After several debugging sessions, the MCU continues to function but starts to heat for no apparent reason, exceeding 70°C and beyond, one time to destruction.   The heating continues even if I erase the MCU with the STM32CubeProgrammer.  After replacing the MCU, things are back to normal so it seems that I damaged the MCU while debugging.  I'm still in the process of developing the control for the converters and am currently operating them open loop a fixed HRTIM PWM duty cycle to generate about +3V and -3V.I've searched for, but could not find any reference to issues with debugging DSMPS.  The biggest concern is the inverting buck-boost topology because if the HRTIM output is stuck high, +24V will get shorted through the pulse tr

i am working with The STM32373C-EVAL evaluation board which has a STM32F373VCT6 microcontroller. i have the task to read the adc data via usb interface. the usb interface is not working (nothing is shown on the pc that a device is connected). i searched the usb driver on stm32 website, it says in STSW-STM32102 that the driver is only for windows 7 and 8. but i am using windows 10 and can't find a usb driver for it. does anyone have a solution ?

Does the STM32G0 with the CMSIS libraries support floating point operations?Is the G0 recommended for floating point operation, or should I use the F1 series instead?Thank you!
