Hi,I am working on STM32 MCU, in my application once I start IWDG, based on certain event I want to freeze IWDG.Since my application is running, I don't want to reboot MCU.Once event processed, I want to continue IWDG without resetting MCU.Can anyone let me know how to achieve this?Regards,Utsavi B 

I am trying to use the bootloader of the STM32G474QET6 with USART to program my microcontroller. I have multiple questions regarding this but the first one is more about hardware. I have found in AN2606 that for the bootloader I can only use one of three USART, as listed under :So after this info, I can use either USART1, 2 or 3 but when I look at the pins attached and at the datasheet of my microcontroller, pins for USART3 on the MCU are not PC11 and PC10. 

Hi Everyone,I interfaced Nucleo F767ZI with W25Q256JV using SPI and everything was working fine. But due to time and speed requirements, now I have to shift it to QSPI. I have used example code of STM Document named "QSPI_F769_discovery_flashloader" and developed a code for QSPI. But whenever I try to run the code and write/read the memory, nothing happens. Hi all,I'd just like to report an error on the reference manual for RMSTM32F411 (RM 0383 Rev 3).The error is located on page 471, on section RTC Register Map.The table showcase all registers for the RCC and miss the entry for RTC_SHIFTR (located at address offset 0x2C) and also for RTC_TSDR (located at address offset 0x34).

Hello, ST experts The temperature sensor in STM32U595 is used for a mesurement. As datasheet said TS_CAL1 can be read at address 0x0BFA0710~0x0BFA0711. But this value is for 3.0V VREF, how is the situation if VREF and VDDA is 3.3V? How can I get the true temperature. E.g. for a chip I have the TS_CAL1 is 4130. What does that mean for 3.3V VREF? BRYang

Hi.In AN5593, How to use the GPDMA for STM32 MCUs, on page 31, it says:"For some application needs, a timer request to GPDMA can be used to initiate a data transfer not involving timerregisters read/write, but other memory-mapped location, like for memory‑to‑memory transfers."How exactly do I do this?My precise use case: I have an 8*3 LED matrix, with the 8 rows connected to PA0:7. I have a uint8_t[3] of the data I want displayed and TIM8 configured at the frequency I want to update the columns at.Thanks for the help!

I am starting to experiment with stm32f411vet6 (discovery), I have passion for STM32, looking forward to learn and help.When I turn on UART 6 and test, the default pins are PA9 and PA10, however it doesn't work (some error characters like question mark appear and don't work anymore). However when I switch PA9 and PA10 to PB3 and PA15, UART 6 works fine.I tried setting PA9 and P10 with output feature then PA9 and PA10 work properly. So what are the possibilities why PA9 and PA10 don't work with UART mode? And how to test it?Thanks!

I can't get TIM15 or TIM17 to work on a Nucleo-F302R8 board. If I examine the peripheral memory where TIM15 (0x40014000) and TIM17 (0x40014800) should be, I always read back all zeros.For example, using gdb I write to the timer's ARR register and then read back:For TIM15: set *0x4001402c =0x5a5ax/20xw 0x40014000 returns all zeros.For TIM16: set *0x4001442c =0x5a5ax/20xw 0x40014400 returns the expected value at 0x4001442c.For TIM17: set *0x4001482c =0x5a5ax/20xw 0x40014800 returns all zeros.According to the stm32f302r6-8.pdf data sheet, the STM32F302R8 has both TIM15 and TIM17 timers. I tested this on a brand new, unused Nucleo-F302R8 board and a used one.What am I missing?Thanks,Tom 

Hi,I am using the continuous mode of the ADC to continuously sample a channel and transfer the data by DMA. I have set the ADC frequency to 32 Mhz , and the sampling CLK to 3.5 CLK. According to the manual , the whole sampling conversion time should be 0.5us. But based on the difference between the data I got  and the actual waveform, I assume that the interval between each data is much longer than 0.5us.What I want to confirm is whether the ADC is able to do the sampling interval up to 0.4us（The manual claims that） in continuous mode. if not, how should the time be calculated.Thanks

Hi everyone, I’m working with the STM32H747I-DISCO board and its onboard QSPI flash (Micron MT25QL512ABB). I’m encountering a frustrating issue:  Problem: Writes to even addresses (e.g., 0x90000000, 0x90000002) work perfectly. Writes to odd addresses (e.g., 0x90000001, 0x90000003) either fail silently or corrupt data. What I’ve tried: Configured QSPI in 1-line and 4-line modes (with/without Memory-Mapped Mode). Ensured sector erasure (4KB) before writing. Used both PAGE PROGRAM (0x02) and QUAD PAGE PROGRAM (0x32) commands. Verified signals with an oscilloscope (no obvious timing issues). Hello everyone,I'm encountering an issue with a circuit that incorporates an STM32F103R8T6 microcontroller. In my design, the MCU's VDD domain is powered by a battery, while an external supply is used for the analog reference (VDDA). When the circuit is in standby mode with both power supplies connected, the current draw is approximately 2.8 µA. However, if I disconnect the external supply (i.e., the one powering VDDA), the battery current consumption increases to nearly 200 µA.This behavior leads me to suspect that there might be a leakage current from the VDDA domain into the rest of the circuit. Has anyone experienced something similar or can offer insights on potential causes for this discrepancy? Looking for any suggestions.I grabbed a Nucleo_F411RE board and hooked it up to a bog standard 600PPR rotary quadrature encoder and set up a basic test program in Cube IDE. I've done this a few times with F407 boards (my MCU of choice for most projects), never had a problem, but I couldn't get it to behave properly.The code is trivial - standard TIM1 or TIM2 (tried both) encoder mode setup in CubeMX, then read the TIMx-CNT register once a second. No interrupts or anything, just standard CubeMX setup, latest CubeIDE as of today.On the F411 it was doing weird things.1. When the encoder was stationary, the count changed back and forth by one once every 500ms. 2. Hi there, I'm configuring CAN filtering for STM32Hxxx. I have several filters configured. Currently, when CAN Frame match filter it is not going through other filters.Is there a way to change filtering behavior to hit all filters that match given pattern not the first one only. 

I'm trying to read a .JPG image file from my SD Card (FATFS) and want to use LIBJPEG for decoding it. Everything seems to be fine until I execute the **jpeg_start_decompress()** function. Hi,I'm using STM32H755 nucleo board and evaluating ADC. I'm using ADC1 and ADC2. I like to get 1.92MSPS per ADC (12bit). According to my understanding I need minimum 8 cycles for conversion and therefor I was using 15.36MHz clock rate. With these settings, I'm getting 960kSPS rate, which is half what I expected. Then I doubled clock rate to 30.72MHz, which gives correct 1.92MSPS per ADC. According to AN5354, maximum ADC frequency is 17MHz (LQFP144), which is much lower than my current setting. Can I use 30.72MHz clock for ADC and why it has to be double?

Hi All, I need to obtain an artifact with the name present in some costant in "main.h". In other words, my project is called "TestProject" and main.h I have these costants: #define GUI_MAJOR_VER 0 // Major #define GUI_MINOR_VER 1 // Minor #define GUI_RELEASE_VER 3 // Release I would like to ahve a final executable named "TestProject v013.hex" This means that every time I will change the #defines in main.h, output file will change automatically with a new numeration. Does someone has some suggestion? or better, an example? thanks in advance for your help.    

I am using STM32F407VG in my project temporarily. The objective is to transmit audio data over ethernet which is received in this mic and received audio from the other end this side having stm32 as the MCU.  For Mic, I am using SPH0645. But I am unable to sample the audio correctly. Hi，I am using an STM32G070CB. while using the ADC, I found that the accuracy of the data I get is very poor, the data returned is always returned as 0xXXFF, but the data for VREF and GND is correct. HiI am trying to migrate software from a stm32l4s9 to a STM32U585.How can I transfer data from from Ram to an MDF filter?Also the L4s9 withFSDM1_Channel2->CHDATINR = (outI_2 >> 16);I was able to feed the data into the filter.Is this also possible with the MDF on an STM32u585?if so how?Thanks for your helpFelix
