Is the version of STM32CudeIDE important?

I've already got version 1.4 installed and the instructions say use 1.3. Before I spend any significant time on preparing for this course is it ok to use 1.4?

the version requested is Cube IDE 1.4.2. This information is in the installation guide pdf available on the googledrive with the material.

Where did you find a reference to 1.3 ?

The confirmation email has 2 links in it, the first to the Goole drive downloads and the 2nd the Set-up instructions ( leads to https://www.st.com/content/dam/OLM%20Email%20Marketing/2020/EMEA/Events/STM32Trust%20Security%20Ecosystem/Security_WS_Tools_Installation_v2.pdf ) I was reading this while downloading the software pack from the Google Drive.
