Hi @Mrohi,

Currently we do not support TouchGFX on MacOS. The Designer is supported on Windows alone and the tools that generate code for fonts and images are supported on windows and Linux. Even if the tools are relatively easy to port, the designer is not. Your only option is to use Cube IDE to generate your project on MacOS and then hand it over to a Windows VM, currently.

Any update on TouchGFX Designer on MacOS ?

I'm using CubeIDE on MacOS and its a real pain to switch to a Windows machine for Designer.

TouchGFX Designer is not supported on MacOS. It is not on our roadmap unfortunately.

Very bad!

Can't run on Mac in the near future?

We'll have to look for another manufacturer ...

Not in the "near near" future anyway :) Runs fine in a VM on Mac, though.

Good luck!

But windows is a pain by itself !

In my use case we bought a windows pc for one programmer to use touchgfx and the other programmers have to just build the project ,we can simply unignore the generated files and put them on the repository but that soemtimes is painfully slow , can someone on mac or linux build a cubemx+touchgfx project without windows ? (No need for the whole designer, just a cross platform code generation step)

Any news on Supporting macOS?

It's a show stopper for my company - which is a real shame.

I'd offer to port the deigner to macOS for you, if it helps?

Hi,

This is still not in the near future plans unfortunately.

It seems that if you did not include it after 3 years it will never be, since also it is going to be much harder to restart everything from scratch. Am i correct if i assume that at the same time for marketing reasons there is not going to be any announcement that macOs is not going to be supported at all ?

Would be very helpful to have a Java version of touchGFX designer to be able to run on OSx. I think I will wait forever for this

Another Mac user here who really wants to use TouchGFX.

Is it possible to use TouchGFX on the Mac without using the designer?

I started a project in TouchGFX Designer (Windows) and used dropbox as project folder. I was hoping I would then be able to open the .project file in CubeIDE MacOs, but I can't even see the file... (Yes I am showing hidden files in MacOs)

What am I doing wrong?
