Colleagues,

Can STM32WL or WB be programmed to function as a baseband chip (with an external mixer) ?

I’m looking for ICs which would help me build an HF radio link. My bands of interest are 14 MHz and 28 MHz amateur bands. I like the STM32WL33, because it has a lot of modulation options.

Best regards,
- Nick

Hello @Nick Alexeev

For the STM32WL33, it works 159-185 MHz, 413-479 MHz, 826-958 MHz so it does not match the range you are looking for. Same for the STM32WL (Frequency range: 150 MHz to 960 MHz) and the STM32WB/WB0/WBA (2.4 GHz). So, those products do not fit your needs.

Best Regards.
