STM32CubeProgrammer not seeing device.

IAR/EWARM can connect to my STM32WL55 nucleo board.  However, I get a complaint about a hardware fault during loading.  It also claimed that the STLINK firmware was old, so I decided to update that.

STM32CubeProgrammer would not initially start, so following directions based on the theory that the JRT was messed up, I reinstalled.

So, cube programmer now starts, but it says not connected.  There is a downward pointing arrow that I can press on without any obvious effect other than a focus box. 

Has anyone experienced something similar -- and of course how did you fix it?

Please show a screenshot of CubeProgrammer - including the full log - when this happens.

Can you still connect using IAR?
