What is the output impedance of the STM32WBA63 (QFN48 package)

Hello,

I am trying to develop a board with Bluetooth Low Energy using the STM32WBA63.
I have tried to base my design on application note AN5165, but it is for the STM32WB55, and I couldn't find any application note related to RF and the WBA series.

I also wasn't able to find the impedance of the RF pin of the WBA63 (QFN48 package) in the datasheet.

Could you please provide to me the impedance value of the RF pin for this MCU ?
Also if there are application notes for RF development on the WBA63 series, could you please provide them ?

Thank you

Hello @Joojoo

After a campaign of collect done with the following setup:

  • Measure load pull and source pull directly out of STM32WBA6
  • Measure done on load/source pull labo bench:
  1.   - Tuner Maury XT981AL
  2.   - Spectrum analyzer FSW3030
  3.   - RF Generator SMBV100B
  4.   - Automatic python software for load and sourcepull

So:

  1. for a 0dBm Load pull, we have Zmax = 33.8 - j8.6.
  2. for a 5dBm Load pull, we have Zmax = 22.7 - j9.3.
  3. for a 10dBm Load pull, we have Zmax = 30.8 - j2.5.

Best Regards.
