Question

How to build a minimal OpenSTLinux SD image with all drivers/hardware support for the DK2 Discovery board ?

I am confused by the different packages ,Starter, Distribution and Developer.

Which one do I need to install/setup/build to have as the end result a "minimal" cli/shell based SD card image with support for all hardware on the DK2 board ? a "clean" rootfs with no examples, no Wayland/X11 .. just command line and all drivers for the board installed ?

Hi @mfny

For explanation about various package usage did you already browse the online user guide https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Main_Page and particularly this page :

https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Which_STM32MPU_Embedded_Software_Package_better_suits_your_needs

With distribution package you can already build "st-image-core" which may suit your need.

Else you can create your own image starting from default "st-image-weston" and removing unwanted feature.

Hope it help
