Question

I would like to use an old version of the Linux kernel on a STM32MP1. I have a very specific device driver written for Linux 2.6 or 2.8. We are creating a new board and considering the STM32MP1.

Thanks for your message and interest in STM32MP1.

ST only provide support to the delivered Kernel starting from version 4.19.

I suggest to consider porting your driver to recent version rather than trying to port such old Linux version on MP1.
