Save permanently a variable on u-boot

Hi, I need to save a variable from u-boot console but is not possible because the command SAVEENV is disabled (STM32MP1 module) .

How can I do?

Maybe you are not on the latest delivery version because saveenv is working on V1.1.0 release (openstlinux-4.19-thud-mp1-19-10-09 tag).
