Cannot get c/c++ search to work

Quite simple, I try to search for  a variable and when I click search even though I KNOW it's in the project. The window disappears and nothing is done. Is this a bug or Is my search wrong? I'm trying to search the entire project.

You can do a File Search instead, and/or choose Workspace as scope. C/C++ might not think the code you want to find is active or part of the current project. File Search will find it regardless.

I've tested and it works fine for me.

I suggest you to update your CubeIDE virsionif is not the last version.

I just upgraded to the latest version and it still does not give me the search results. Could something else be wrong?
