Unable to find STM32MP157D-DK1 board definition

Hi there!

 

I just purchased an STM32MP157D-DK1 discovery board, and noticed that in STM32CubeIDE there are no definition files for this model, only a subset of the other MP1 discovery boards (but curiously not all of them).

 

Is this product unsupported by ST or can I obtain board definition files from elsewhere?

This is a known limitation :

Warning: To generate an device tree for new Boards STM32MP157D-DK1, STM32MP157D-EV1, please select respectively the ST boards project STM32MP157F-DK2, STM32MP157F-EV1. The generated device trees will work but with some probe errors on Crypto, Display DSI, Wifi, BT linux drivers for STM32MP157D-DK1 board and on Crypto Linux driver for STM32MP157D-EV1.

There's a plan to support the STM32MP157D-DK1 board and the other missed boards soon for both CubeMX and CubeIDE (6.3.0 and 1.7.0).

You can find in this link all documents about the STM32MP157D-DK1.

I'm back again to inform you that STM32MP157D-DK1 board is now supported, you can use the latest CubeMX version available on site :)
