I am trying to install on a MacBook Pro, but keep getting this error:

“SetupSTM32CubeMX-6.7.0�? cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.

First let me thank you for posting.

This error message appears because the application you are trying to install is not from a verified developer. On macOS, by default, the operating system will only allow you to install apps from the App Store or from developers that have a valid Developer ID.

Installing STM32CubeMX on macOS®

To install STM32CubeMX, make sure you have administrator rights and then:

a) Extract (unzip) the downloaded package.

b) Make sure you have administrator rights.

c) Double-click SetupSTM32CubeMX-VERSION.app application file to launch the installation wizard

d) In case of error, try to fix it: - $sudo xattr -cr ~/SetupSTM32CubeMX-VERSION.app.
