Hi,I'm trying to understand SPI communication for your L9963E.In the data sheet for your L9963E IC is missing the definition of how SPI shall be configured. It doesn't say anything about MSB/LSB bit send configuration for SPI. In the picture below we can see that you have defined the order for IC frame which seems to mismatch with the actual code. From the picture below we can see that CRC should be sent the first in the frame, but in your source code in AutoDevKit Studio, CRC is packed the last spiWord[4]. Probably I misinterpreted your IC frame definition or example code.Can you please explain the right order for both receiving and sending SPI frame, as well as, how should SPI be configured?

Where can i find the pcb file or gerber file for the SPC584B-DISP, I have a short circuit on board and would like to trace and troubleshoot the board , but i need the hardware files to see where the traces goes to instead of manually looking for it .

Is there an input field for the used shunt value or offset? If not, where can I manipulate the code? 

I imported the SPC58EC - AEK_POW_BMS63EN_SOC_Estimation_Single application, configured like described in UM3185. (Side note: The Board View may also view that the ISO SPI needs a Powersupply... So I wonder the Generic pins table..shall I do something here or is it just info?)When I connect the BMS63EN to the battery pack, the green LED flashes very shortly, than no further signs of live. When I flash the AEK-MCU_C44MLIT1 nor errors are shown, though only one core is used, I think thats ok? When I restart the MCU the debugger shows its running, LED 1 and 3 are green. When connecting the ISO SPI to the BMS63EN nothing happens while MCU is without power.Turning on Power to the MCU:On the ISO SPI the red, blue and green LED are lit. Nothing on the BMS63EN is lit. ->Closed the debugger (UDE), restarted for safety everything, opened Autodevkit, Window->Show View->other->terminal->terminal. I opened Terminal on both available COM Ports, on bot

In the AutoDevKit's AEK-MOT-TK200G1 SPC582Bxx_RLA_AEK-MOT-TK200G1_MotorControl_via_CAN - Test Application, the operation of the functions controlling the trunk lock and trunk unlock motor appears to be incorrect in that the PWM duty cycle has the opposite effect on the motor speed from what is expected. For example, when the PWM duty cycle is set to 80% the trunk lock/unlock motor appears to run at a slower 20% speed. My application is Neural Network based and I have SPC5 series microcontroller with me.I want some guidance whether I can use SPC5 series microcontroller for Neural Network. 

I've recently evaluated the AEK-MOT-MR200G1 and AEK-MOT-TK200G1 evaluation boards to gain a better understanding of using the L99DZ200G device and have noticed that neither of those boards used the on-chip CAN transceiver in the L99DZ200G device but, instead, used a separate CAN transceiver device.Is there a known problem with using the on-chip CAN transceiver in the L99DZ200G device?Should I also use a separate CAN transceiver if I'm to use the L99DZ200G in a design?I've written an Arduino library to control the L99DZ200G device from an Arduino Nano, Arduino Nano Every, or a Teensy 3.1 (using Teensyduino).(see https://github.com/dlkeng/Arduino_DLK_L99DZ200G)

Im interested in getting advanced design of Battery Management system for EVs using L9963

I wonder if there is any ST solution on charging a batterypack that already uses the BMS63EN? So that these two could work together in terms of powercontrol. Or is it maybe easier to implement than I think? 

I am looking for an onboarding on the Autodevkit intended RTOS. Which is it? I am a bit confused, Chibi or FreeRTOS? And how do I set it up? Maybe there is a walk through AN/UM available? 

Question 1: When I make the mcanconf like described in AN the second mcanconf is named exact the same, it does not autoincrement to mcanconf1 as it is in the example. Is that important? Or how/when do I link a certain mcanconf to a subsystem? They must be linked somehow, or? Hi everyone!My disappointment has reached the level where I write about it. Mostly to find a way to navigate the  ecosystem or to find an alternative. My initial idea was to move from Atmel 8-bits towards something more powerful. Usecase is automotive, where normal STMs are not at home. But..there was this new thing: SPC5. It took me days to figure out that the install videos where outdated and SPC5 Studio is not needed for Auto dev kit anymore. Several installations later I was able to click my way half through it but was totally stuck with UDE and the concept of it being something 3rd party that was no part of the IDE. Entering the pitfalls of eclipse (man what is this? Its awfully cluttered, buggy and inconvenient) I spend a few days learning that the pinmap editor must be closed in order to generate proper code, that the dark mode does not work -no matter what I try. The documentation is everywhere and nowhere. Is it in the devboard description? Or maybe some ot

The examples are a great resource to get started. But it looks like when making changes to an example it does not only safe in the working folder. It also safes (or changes) the original. After playing a lot with one example I wanted to just delete it from my working folder and import a new fresh one, unchanged. I thought thats why there is an import function for examples, right? But- it is not the original anymore, it always shows my changes after importing a new one. So- if I dont want a complete reinstall of the whole devkit- any ideas where I can find the examples for download and fresh install?

We have a BMS board with SPC574S64 Controller and L9963E as BMS ICI am trying to communicate with the BMS IC via Direct/Normal SPI modeI have done the necessary HW connections properly and ensured the SPI lines are proper.I am trying to communicate with the L9963E but I donot see any response from it, some time I see all response as FF or 00once in a while I saw a frame on the data bus as 0x0000000016 which is a wakeup frame, but I am not sure what is missing for the chip to respond, here are the command sequence I send on the Bus as per the data sheetI have only one BMS IC for now on the board which is connected to the SPC574S64 via direct SPI linesBroad Cast frame to 0xC0040C1040500us delayRead back frame 0x8286000000I am not seeing any response from the L9963E.even I tried sending the rest of the frames on the bus, but still no responseI have seen once there is a response of 0x00000016 - default wakeup frame, but later I didn't see any responsePlease let me know if any worked on thi

HiI am trying to configure SPI communication between L9963E and SPC574S64E3I referred the DSPI example in the latest SPC5StudioI could see the baud rate is configured to 1Mbps, 16kb and 26kb But as per the L9963E Spec the baud rate is either 333kbps or 2.5MbpsI tried with all the baud rate prescalars I could see more than 1.5Mbps​KIndly suggest, how to configure for L9963E chipset​Thank you for your support​

Hi,I am trying to communicate with BMS IC on our developed board and I donot see the communication happening with BMS IC despite of following all the instructions I have a L9963E BMS Eval board for reference,I have tapped out the SPI frames on the bus to see the dataI could see for the 5 byte of frame data 4 bytes are going first and 2 byte is going after a delay of around 2.2 us when I have fed the SPI  API spi_lld_exchange with 5 bytes the data goes out in one after the other continouslyIs there any specific reason why the data is send in this way?I do not see any specific section mentioning any where in L9963E data sheet regarding this?Kindly let me know what could be the reason for this do I need to send the data in this way?Also I could see the clock frequency is varying in between 8MHz and 12MHz if see the clock in the image it is not pulsated at same frequency
