I am using SPC58NH-DISP board and UDE STK 5.2​ with PLS USB/JTAG Adapter for SPC5 MCU.Currently, I am going to buy an additional debugger​, and found AEK-MCU-SPC5LINK(Progrmeer and debugger for SPC5 automotive microcontrollers) below.https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/aek-mcu-spc5lnk.htmlIs AEK-MCU-SPC5LINK is compatible with​ UDE STK 5.2? And, I just need JTAG programming and debugging with UDE STK.If ​AEK-MCU-SPC5LINK is not compatible with UDE STK 5.2, which stm tool is available?My overall workflow​ is coding and building image using SPC5Studio and programming image and debugging using UDE STK 5.2.Thank you.Jaeho

Hello,I have a AEK-POW-NOT-X and a NUCLEO-F401RE that I would like to monitor using the AutoDevKit environnement. I downloaded AutoDevKit Studio 2.6.0 on the ST website, however I can't seem to make it work. I understand that the 2.6.0 version is meant to be a version of SPC5-Studio with the AutoDevKit environnement already integrated; but exept for the icon, name and welcome page, I can't find anything that looks like what I suppose AutoDevKit Studio looks like.When I try to create a new project, there is no "AutoDevKit project" option available. There isn't any "AutoDevKit perspective" either. I downloaded SPC5-Studio 6.0 as a comparison ; it is the exact same, exept for the fact that there are "SPC5 project" and "SPC5 perspective" available...Since AutoDevKit Studio 2.6.0 is different from all the previous versions, even though I've been watching and reading countless ressources, I can't find a clear explanation on how to make this version work. I'm using SPC5 Studio and AutoDevKit, but I'm facing issues with the setup:AutoDevKit installation via SPC5 Studio (Help → Install New Software) fails repeatedly.Launching AutoDevKit directly results in:"Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. A fatal exception has occurred. Hi Community,I have been approaching the GNSS theory and the TESEO Hardware for few weeks and many questions come into my mind regarding the Hot Start and the Cold Start.First things first, I am using a custom PCB on whom surface  the TESEO, LTE modules and other stuff are mounted; this custom application is not provided of a back-up battery.So my question is: May I expect a Hot Start / Warm Start even if the device is not provided of a back-up battery or it will experience a cold start every time the circuit is rebooted  ?Given the aforementioned conditions, does the possibility to save the ephemeris on the built-in flash memory  in order to have a hot start exist ? Thank you in advance for your precious help.   

Hi everyone,I am using the TESEO LIV3-FL EVB. Suddenly the PPS green led stopped to work and the device was simply connected via UART/USB to my laptop. This happen while I was trying to set a log data recording.Now I am trying to restart the evaluation board over and over again but the PWR ON led (RED) is the one the work.Any suggestion ? Hi ST community,I am new to SPC5 Automotive chips but not new to programming in the embedded world. I am currently programming on the SPC574k discovery board and have severe problems finding good documentation on how to actually program the thing in SPC5 Studio. I found the reference manual (rm0408), and some guides and datasheets (an can in SPC58EC, an4389, um2155, rm0361, and some others), but they mainly offer only conceptual knowledge and register mappings.I also looked into the samples and although very helpfull, they are more of a starting point than a documentation.Is there a way to get actual guides and documentation to the numerous functions and configuration options of the SPC5 Studio IDE? Do I have to contact someone, pay for it or sign something or is there none?Kind regads,Sir_Alee

Dear Team,           I have some doubts about How to use SPC5 Studio Application for Enabling GPIO,UART,SPI and etc. We are developing custom board using SPC582B60E1MH00Y MCU for our application. We are new for this SPC5 Controller and Studio Application. We found some source through online about creating a project in SPC5 Studio. But we are struggling to use SPC5 Studio Application. So kindly guide me to use SPC5 Studio for GPIO, UART Configuration and some other peripherals. Next need to some clarification about add drivers for our project( example:SPC582Bxx Low Level Drivers Component RLA), And AutoDevkit Driver component is need for all project development in SPC5 Studio. Can you please guide me to create a project ,Enable all peripherals and kindly send us if sample code available. It will help us to learn and success our Product developing. Thanks in advance.

Hi all, We're having trouble getting the module to respond to the message "$PSTMEPHEM" We're attempting to upload ephemeris data but the module is ignoring the message, ie: the module is not responding with either "PSTMEPHEMOK" or '"PSTMEPHEMERROR" To help debug this, we did the following,We used 'PSTMDUMPEPHEMS' to get emphemerides and ensure our formatting is correct, and load them into an array.We then cold-start the module and use "PSTMINITGPS" to initialize the approximate time and position, to which we do receive a 'PSTMINITGPSOK' in response.Then we try to upload one of the ephemeris strings (received in step 1), but we get no response, OK or ERRORWe are able to get/set parameters, init time and position, and dump ephemeris data just fine, but we can't seem to get a response to the 'PSTMEPHEM' message,  try as we might.Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance,-Jake

Hi, We are currently working on integrating software support for the Teseo-LIV3FL GNSS module (specifically, the PNT-SG3FS part) on our OpenQ 8550 SOM Development Kit (https://www.lantronix.com/products/open-q-8550cs-som-development-kit/). The GNSS module interfaces with the 8550 development kit via UART. We have updated the relevant DTSI files in our platform and verified that UART TX/RX communication is functioning correctly. However, when attempting to read the data from the GNSS module, the output appears to be unstructured or junk data. It also seems that the module is not acquiring a satellite fix. Hello.   I'm using SPC58NH-DISP, and trying to debug using AEK-MCU-SPC5LNKU(debugger) and UDE Starterkit 5.02.04. When I power on SPC58NH-DISP and check if USB driver is installed properly, I can find SPC58NH-DISP works fine and "PLS USB Serial Port" in Windows Device Manager. However, the following error message occurs. <error message> Message from component 'UDEDebugServer' :Unable to establish connection . To correct the situation, check configuration file entries and try again. Message from component 'PpcJtagTargIntf' :Can't connect target ! Message from component 'PpcJtagTargIntf' :No JTAG client found !Please check:- target power supply- JTAG cable connection- target configuration   It seems like the error occurs due to wrong target configuration. I'm curious about where the menu for target configuration is in UDE Starterkit and how to modify the target configuration for SPC58NH-DISP.   Thank you.

Hello, I'm using the SPC58NH-DISP board, and my application needs to preserve some variables across a software reset — such as when the reset button is pressed or a WDT reset occurs. My application requires a warm boot feature.When I assign a value to a variable, I expect it to be retained in RAM after a reset. However, on this architecture (Power Architecture), that doesn't happen.Is there a way to protect certain variables so they retain their values after a software reset, reset button press, or WDT reset?

Dear experts, I am facing an issue when measuring a pack of 14 batteries Fenix ARB-L18-2600. When fully charge 4.23 Volt, the BMS63EN return around 4.0x Volt. When the batteries reduce to 4.12 Volt, the BMS63EN return ~3.98 Volt. Could experts tell me where and how to modify or calibrate the BMS63EN Board?. (I used the Autodevkitstudio-2.4 with both SPC58EC - AEK_POW_BMS63EN_SOC_Estimation_14Cells_GUI application for discovery and SPC58EC - AEK_POW_BMS63EN_SOC_Estimation_Single application for discovery example to measure but they still return same measurement error). I am really appreciating for your help. Best regards, Tri Huynh.
