Hi.I want to use two GNSS receiver ICs from the Teseo v family (either STA8100 or STA8135).It is important in my application that the 3-bit ADC sampling of both receivers will be synchronized.The IC has a TCXO input which obviously is used as the reference for the down-conversion LO PLL circuit.Is this TCXO input used as the source for the ADC clock as well? or is the clock sourced from an internal oscillator? Thanks,Yonatan

Hello, I m working in my design with the Teseo-LIV3F chip, I copied the schematic and routing of the eval board of the Teseo-LIV3F. the amplification stage is also the same that the eval board but I received no GPS or no satellite position. I read many similar posts on this subject, and the issue is often due to RF section (wrong value of passive component for decoupling capacitor) or antennas. Hello Community, I have an observation from my attempt to daisy chain multiple AEK-POW-BMS63EN devices.  I have made a battery pack which has two 14-cell Battery modules in series. One module is supposed to be connected to one AEK-POW-BMS63EN and send data over ISOSPI lines back to the AEK-ISOSPI-SPI Translator and then to the master, which is AEK-MCU-C4MLIT1.  I validated the individual slaves first, and they were working. However, when I connected the ISOH line of my first slave with the ISOL line of the second slave, it created a short circuit, and the slave IC burnt. I want to know what the correct configuration is for connecting the ISOSPI lines for a daisy chain.  I have attached my configuration in the attached photo.  Thank you Regards, Vipul

I posted recently about getting set up with the demo for the GUI application, and got great help from @SRomeo. I've now moved on to the SingleAccess Chain demo, and could use some more help if you don't mind?I am using the C4ML1T, ISOSPI1, and 2 BMS63EN boards each connected to a BMSHOLD cell holder. The first device has 8 cells connected to it, the second has 4. In both cases, there are cells occupying slots 1, 2, 13, and 14.In AutoDevKitStudio, the AEK-POW-BMS63ENCHAIN component is set up with a single chain, with two devices. I have connected the ISOSPI1 board to the C4ML1T as per the allocated pins visible on the board view, below.Once the code is compiled and generated, and the board is flashed, I get periodic LED illumination, and zero values for all data printed to the serial terminal. See video below for hardware behaviour, including how the frequency of the LEDs changes with a reset.I suppose my first question is am I interpreting the board view pin designations correctly? NSL

Hello,We have worked with the LIV3F during the last design. The topology followed the recommendations of "User Manual, UM2231, Teseo-LIV3 GNSS Modules, Hardware Manual.". Our main doubts start when we question the recommendation that this application note makes about an isolation power ground "inderectly" connected to the ground pad of the Teseo LIV3F. (8. Layout recommendation)Why would something like this be required? Following this, the LIV4F application note seems to not have as many hardware recommendations as the LIV3F has, and these don't make any reference to the isolation gnd. Is the Teseo LIV4FTR an upgraded package of the LIV3F?Would you recommend using for best performance LIV4FTR? Should we follow previous hardware recommendations from the LIV3F, like the LNA and SAW RF filter implementation? The final idea is to achieve the best GNSS performance with a SM patch antenna like the SGGP. 12.4.A.02

Hi,I'm developing a bare-metal project with the SR5E1Ex (E3 and E7), and need to determine the current core ID at run-time.Could you please confirm if there are any registers that can be read to determine the current core ID? The only multicore examples I can find for the SR5E1Ex chips use different restart locations to determine the current running core, but if there are any registers that can be read with the core ID, that would be preferable.Regards,Steven Daglish

Hello,I am using a TESEO LIV3F which supply pins are connected as follow :- Pin 8 (VCC) : 2.4v supplied by a SMPS that may be turned OFF- Pin 7 (VCC IO) : 3.2v supplied by a LDO that may be turned OFF- Pin 6 (Vbatt) : Permanent 3.2v provided by batteriesBy reading the docs I understood that the module, once powered ON for the first time, needs 12.5 min to acquire the almanac followed by the euphemeris, then they are both stored in the backup RAM that belongs to the RTC domain supplied by Vbatt (permanent supply in this case).After the FIX have been obtained for this session, the module is no longer needed and the CPU sends a PSTMFORCESTANDBY for 99999 seconds (is it mandatory ?), after receiving a PSTMFORCESTANDBYOK, the module enters standby mode and the CPU shuts down the supplies from VCC and VCC IO, leaving only Vbatt with 3.2v supply.The LIV3F's RTC clock keeps track of the time and stores the almanac and euphemeris data, after approx 24 hours the module is powered on again (

Hello Community,I am trying to build a 333V Battery Pack with AEK-MCU-C4MLIT1 as the Master, AEK-ISOSPI Translator and multiple AEK-POW-BMS69EN as slaves in daisy chain configuration. I would like to get the information such as cell voltages, SOC, and Balancing commands from the slave and send it onto the Vehicle CAN Network.As of now, I have been able to get the cell voltages on the serial terminal from one 48V dummy pack which I have built. And, I have been able to send some dummy data from the AEK-MCU-C4MLIT1 Master CAN 1 Channel and read it with the help of a CAN KVASER Dongle.Now, When I went for combining these two functionality the project didn't seem to work. I suspect that maybe the pins which I am using to establish the ISOSPI communication between the Master and the Slave are interfering when I am trying to establish the CAN Communication. But, I tried configuring the pins on the CAN0 channel (Pin 101 as RX and Pin 102 as TX) but I am not seeing anything on the CAN_1_L

Hi team, i have built a custom gnss application for my UAV, using the teseo liv 4f module.i have attached my circuit herewith, and also the corresponding output from the teseo suite.The module has no fix always and is not locking onto any sat.please look into my circuit and let me know the issue.I have used a taoglass active antenna(Acurra GNSS) for the circuit.

Hi. I have a problem when trying to establish a serial communication from SPC58 to my PC. My device manager only shows SPC58EC-DISP in the "other devices" section. 1.  SPC58EC-DISP is connected with USB cable to my PC. 2. I have installed the drivers from the link that was provided in the DKReferenceCode: CP210x USB to UART Bridge VCP Drivers - Silicon Labs.  3. Installed "CP210x Windows Drivers"  and "CP210x VPC Windows" and "CP210x Universal Windows Driver" 4. I run the installer, example "CP210xVCPInstaller_x64". 5. When i try to update the drivers to the SPC58EC-DISP in the device manager, windows doesn´t find the drivers.   Kind Regards, Joona.

Hello,i'm using VIC3DA module in a dashboard to measure the vehicle speed. I encountered 2 big issues.1. Some times the module requires several minutes to fix the position, even in warm start2. Some times the speed coming from the module in completely random even if the vehicle is at 0 km/h of speed.In that conditions, if i turn-off and on again the power supply, some times the module starts to works normally and fix the satellite in a reasonable time (<=1 min).I read a document about the IMU calibration. Is it really required? Since i'm working for an automotive project, will be quite impossible to calibrate every dashboard after the production, because of the big amount.Are there any special settings to do on the module to improve time to fix and sensor fusion function? Many thanks

Hello,I have assembled a PCB that contains a TESEO LIV3F + LNA + SAW, this part of the schematics is shown below.Using the teseo suite pro, the GPS receives no signal so I used a -9dB 1575MHz RF source on the input and measured the RF power at the output (GPS_RF_IN), the signal is well amplified and filtered but the LIV3F module cannot see a single satellite.Any ideas pls ?

Hi, I am working on a senior design project at my university where we are planning to incorporate the teseo liv-4f module with the ASGPDF254.A active antenna. From what I see the power is pin 11 the rf_in pin the data sheet says (3v available). This leads me to believe the signal is regulated by either module as well as seen in the data sheet meaning that we can directly connect the pin 11 (liv4) <-> pin 1 (antenna) without an inductor or cap to filter the signal. Our professor is skeptical that it works in this manner, we are having difficulty determining which design is correct.  The second design has the filter capacitor on the rf_in, and the choke inductors on Vcc coming from another source.Thank you

HiI have some question regarding the Teseo-VIC3D information which I cannot find.1. The Teseo-VIC3D should have its own asm330 unit which internally is interfaced over SPI, right? 2. Is it possible to interface the ASM330 as if it where an external hw unit?3. Or just to get the values?3a. If yes how often?3b. and is it calibrated, raw or both values?4. Hello, I'm working with a Teseo EVB-VIC3DA.I want to control the data flow on the UART and query only the sensor data I'm interested in.After setting the baud rate to 921600, I proceeded to disable all automatically sent messages using the command $PSTMNMEAONOFF,0.My idea was to use the $PSTMNMEAREQUEST command to retrieve only the messages of interest.When sending $PSTMNMEAREQUEST,0x2,0*06, I correctly receive the $GPGGA message as specified in CDB-ID 201 of the documentation (UM2791 - TeseoVIC3 Software Instructions, STMicroelectronics).My question is whether it is possible to do the same with the DRAW messages ($PSTMDRSENMSG 30,31 and 3, bitmask 0x10000000), as I am interested in accelerometer, gyroscope, and odometer data.When I try $PSTMNMEAREQUEST,0,0x10000000*35, I only receive an acknowledgment from the device.If this is not possible, I am interested in reducing the message rate from these sensors.I attempted to do this using the command $PSTMCFGMSGL,0,50,0,0x10000000*01, but a

Hey, I am trying to build a battery pack with AEK-POW-BMS63EN BMS Slave Boards, AEK-MCU-C4MLIT1 as the Master Board, and an ISOSPI Translator.  I have made a 4S Dummy Battery to check whether I could get the cell data on the serial bus from the Master Board. As suggested, I started working with the Example code titled 'SPC58EC-AEK_POW_BMS63EN_SOC_Est_SingleAccess_CHAIN application for discovery' but although the code got flashed onto the master board, I was still reading '0' values from the slave.  Again, I tried the program titled 'SPC58EC - AEK_POW_BMS63EN_SOC_Estimation_Single application for discovery', since I realized that there was no ISOSPI Component added in the previous project. With this example project, I started getting some values but they seem incorrect. I am getting 5.8V on Cell 1 and 0V on the rest of the cells even when I checked the voltage on the test pins on the board between C0 and C1 is 3.8V.  I am definitely doing something wrong here, I
