Hi!Can iis3dwb perform data decimation or i need to do it by myself?

Hi All,I have been using the LIS3DH for years and have always found it trouble free.I have a very small board with an MCU, an Si7051 temperature sensor and an LIS3DH. The two sensors share the same very short I²C bus. There are 10 kΩ pullup resistors on SDA and SCL. The two interrupt pins of the LIS3DH are connected directly to two pins on the MCU. SD0/SA0 is connected directly to ground, a setup I have used before.The LIS3DH is not responding at all. I can't get an ACK or anything else. I can communicate with the temperature sensor. I have tried bus speeds between 10 kHz and 92 kHz. I have also tried several different configurations for the two MCU pins to which the INT pins are connected. They are open drain inputs. Could the pullup resistors be too weak? I have used LIS3DH alone with 10 k before but not shared with another device.Would tying the two INT pins to ground, albiet via a weak pull-down cause the LIS3

This topic aims at the implementation of a self-localization solution for a probe moving through hollow spaces of parts or machines of interest. Here, a small TOF-sensor (time of flight) is to be used and its raw output data to be processed and analyzed. The sensor is given, but the entire pipeline starting from acquiring measurement data, followed by pre-processing steps, 3D model information matching und real time results representation as well as providing interfaces for further pose information utilization need to be developed. The concept shall address certain given requirements. Achievable accuracies of the system are to be evaluated.can anyone suggest me the starting point for this ? recommended hardware and software with which i can make a prototype ? Thanks

 am reading the registers with I2C multiple bytes, updating only the required bits and writing registers. So without power reset if i follow same sequence of reading again and updating only bit values (but writing full register values) then the output value stucks at one reading always. So if what will happen if we read all the registers second time without power off?

Hello I am using Lsm6dsox(acc and gyro) and lsm303ah(mag) and sending data to motionfx to calculate the linear acceleration.My sensors are working in mode2 sync with drdy at 104HZ. So I'm reading every 10ms the data from the sensors and sending it to motionfx to calculate the linear acceleration. I ve set the motionfx setting as described in example, and calibrated the magnetometer.My problem is the following:So I shake the board and rotate and the data seems good, but when I put it on table while shaking to rest in a stationary state,it has a slope it takes to long to convergate to zero(about 2s). How can I achieve to go instantly to zero when in statinary state?

Hello ST community,I would like to know how to detect the following motion using 6D function in LIS2DH12. From the application note, I understand the kind of movements detected. However, the motion that I would like to be detected is as shown in the attached picture. Hi,I am using STEVAL-MKII72V1 with LSM303AGR. I use TI CC2640R2F Launchpad to communicate to the LSM303AGR using I2C interface.I have successfully generated LSM303AGR Interrupt 1 pin interrupt when activity threshold exceed 256 mg. I connect the LSM303AGR to a led on the TI CC2640R2F Launchpad. The led lights up whenever I move the LSM303AGR board.But, I want to use the LSM303AGR Accelerometer activity/inactivity function, which will transition from Low Power Mode to Normal Mode. This functionality will reduce power consumption. The problem I am unable to generate a Interrupt 2 interrupt. Here is my initialization code below. The code below is a simplified version for sharing. Hi, I am trying to model LSM9DS1 for my AHRS Application. For creating the model, I have checked the datasheet but I couldn't find anything related to Noise characteristics. Actually, I have used many MEMS sensors but It can be the worst datasheet I have ever seen.Can you share with me LSM9DS1 Noise characteristics? I mean Noise Power Spectral Density, Total RMS Noise, or anything related to noise characteristics.Thanks!

Hello,As per page number 17 of datasheet of STM32F070 series we can see that it consists of internal temperature sensor. It's written that with calibration we can get quite accurate value of the temperature but can it be used as replacement of any external temperature sensor such as STTS751. Our application is based on logging of temperature in cold chain storage unit and in similar areas.My question is that can we use this internal temperature sensor for this type of purpose or not hence reducing external temperature sensor? Can it provide that good accuracy as external sensor or not?

I performed all the calibrations indoor and whenever i am testing it in outdoor(both under direct sunlight and opposite) ,it is always detecting some particle without any interference.Do i need to perform calibrations again in outdoor?

HI, After Factory calibration of LIS3DH accelerometer, what are the range of values given by the accelerometer( Selected 12 bit OUTPUT). I am getting 20-30 ADC counts of X axis from accelerometer, where as -1 to 3 counts from Y axis . Why there is a much higher difference Please answer ,Thank you.

I'm trying to get maximum data rate (ODR=6.66KHZ) of the LSM6DSR with using STEVALMKI109v3 and my own code running on windows 10 laptop. Unfortunately, I couldn't get reached to the speed. it was about 6.56KHZ. The RX buffer on laptop side is good in shape and well enough. And there's no overflow events according to the buffer monitoring.Are there any way to detect the overflow events or read/check the FIFO status of STEVAL-MKI109v3 ? Thank you

My application is very low power, and I need to save power wherever possible. To this end, I do the following:LIS2DE12_WriteReg(LIS2DE12_MEMS_I2C_ADDRESS, 0x20, 0x08);Which basically puts the accelerometer in power down mode. The LIS2DE12_WriteReg basically uses HAL_I2C_Mem_Write.I seem to constantly get a HAL_TIMEOUT returned whenever I try to put the accelerometer in power down mode. HI,In LSM3DH accelerometer sensor datasheet given output of accelerometer is 16 bitthey are divided into two 8bit registers. MSB, LSB registers. LSB register is always giving ZERO as output. only MSB register is giving output.Why LSB register is always giving ZERO results. Please send your answerThank u

Hello, support team.​In my project, I want to read acceleration and angular rate from lsm6dsox as fast as possible.In polling mode example, lsm6dsox_xl_flag_data_ready_get function is called before lsm6dsox_acceleration_raw_get.To faster the procedure, I consider skipping lsm6dsox_xl_flag_data_ready_get and just reading raw data via lsm6dsox_acceleration_raw_get.​Is it okay to read data without checking read state? ​In addition to above question, There is one more question.I set ODR of both acceleration and angular to 1667Hz.I2C clock is 400kHz.Acceleration and angular rate are read in polling mode without checking ready state.It looks like new data is read out faster than 1667Hz.Am not sure it is fine.Do you have any idea for this phenomenon?
