Posted on January 17, 2012 at 08:02Hi ST-team,i have downloaded the iNEMOEngine LI3 software. After the registration I get the link to download the file with the name: ''iNEMO_Suite_2.3.0_110913.zip''. When I try to open it I get an error message that the file is damaged. When I try to unzip it, I get a messige that there are no data to unzip, in the folder.  The download link is limited to one download only so i can't try to download it a second time. What can I do to get it work or can you send me the software a second time?Regards,Nik

STM offers a wireless Bluetooth kit for connecting to STeval-MKI109V1.Is it possible to use up to 10 evalboards simult. with BT or would it be better to use ZigBee?For example modules based on STM32W108xx.Eventually these modules could be used without other uC, only by using the host W108xxand adding a inertial sensor.These should be ''streaming'' wireless nodes. thank's for answers

Posted on August 16, 2011 at 14:32Hello,         Im facing a problem with the Inemo SDcard api. Iam able to read and write multiple blocks and single blocks but Im not able to erase the card. When I issue a command for erase and then read the block I always get 0xffff. Has anyone faced a similar situation or knows the reason why this is happening? Thanks and Regards, Hansen.Dsouza #inemo

Arduino similar IDE can be used to download Arduino code to Spruce  board.

Posted on October 25, 2011 at 11:48Hi Fabio,I find something confusing in the demo project.The data update task is synchronized with the  Timer2 interrupt, and the timer2 is update every 0.02s(50Hz), so the delta time should be 0.02s. But the iNEMO_DT in iNEMO_Engine_Lite is set to 0.01. So something wrong with it, or I missed something.Thanks!

Posted on October 17, 2011 at 15:55I received the mk1062v2 board today. Eventually go it working by upgrading software and firmware. However I cannot get the magnetometers to deliver any data. They flatline. Also of interest is that in raw data mode the temperature is about 800 degrees whereas in AHRS mode it is probably correctly at 34 deg C. Can anyone assist in nexplaining whether I need to do something else to get the magnetometers working or how I can test to see if there is a dead on arrival roblem with this part of the board. #inemo

Posted on September 29, 2011 at 13:23Hi, my question is if it's possible to connect a button to the inemo v2 board which I need in an application as start button (or can i use one of the buttons on board, but how can I get the button status (pressed = true/false) with the DLL? other question is that I have a bluetooth module that uses i2c, can I connect it with the iNemo via the pin connectors? Posted on September 16, 2011 at 12:52Hi all, I used the iNemo application to enter the device(STM32F103RE) in DFU mode, but then when I open the application DfuSe demonstration, it is not listed in the list of available devices. In the device manager, I can see that it has one entry: STM32 DFU. Though this one is not recognized. What has happened to the device? How to leave the DFU mode? I want to upgrade to the new firmware to use AHRS mode. Please advice. Thank you

Posted on September 08, 2011 at 16:49Hi,    I am trying to do double tap detection at 10hz and 25hz .Is this possible at low frequency. Viewing the acceleration graphs in Inemo PC suite I could see that the response is poor at low frequency and good at 400hz. Is any there a way around this if I want to detect taps at low acquisition frequency to reduce power consumption. Looking forward to your suggestion. Regards, Hansen

Posted on April 09, 2011 at 20:49Hi,   Could someone tell me what is the reason for having a 1.8V supply for the digital I/O of the accelerometer.One reason Im guessing could be lower power consumption and compatibility with lower voltage peripherals but in this case the MCU on INEMO board is running at 3.3volts.RegardsHansen #inemo

Posted on August 12, 2011 at 10:23Hi,    I am currently developing a PC application for STM32 using Inemo board.The PC application will be able to upgrade the firmware of the STM32 using Dfu mode. Iam using Visual studio Vb.net for the PC side application. I have succedded in enemurating my device and getting a symbolic link to the device and Im able to read the DFU Functional descriptor. However Iam unable to do upgrade because the variables used in VB are quite different somehow from the C++ ones.And since I cannot really have byte arrays in structure I have to create consequtive memory regions by placing many bytes one after each other Has anyone linked the dlls using vb.net? Iam facing problem with  ''STDFUPRT_CreateMappingFromDevice'' to this function I have passed a string of symbolic device link as the first parameter and for the second parameter Iam

ST provides a small 3D Cube demo, it's ok. I want to the in my VC++ program to accomplish the same alignment.1. Is there any command to do that ? 2. What the alignment do, i mean how it is done( any mathematical steps ?)    Is it like replacing the initial quaternion values of AHRS algorithm to the present     board quaterion output ? Thanks

Posted on July 28, 2011 at 12:35Hello, After downloading my software on the board, it only can executes when I am in debugging mode and make a RUN. When I restart the board without debug, my software isn't effective anymore, whereas it's supposed to still be loaded on the board. Do you have an explanation ? The reason for buying the board was to evaluate ST's platform before using ST MEM's components in a commercial product.Currently our algorithm is being developed on the Inemo V2 board itself. Before proceeding deeper into this we would like to know certain points listed below.1. Posted on July 13, 2011 at 06:40I have iNEMO V2 Board.  I want to use the inbuilt( embedded) filters of the geomagnetic module.How can i change the register settings of the Accelerometer ( LIS303DLH). I know there are two ways to do this ( iNEMO Suit GUI ,  Using the API)1. In iNEMO Suit GUI  if the AHRS Mode enabled ,Accelerometer parameter settings ( High-Pass Filter,ODR, reference), they are grayed out. Why is this ?2. My investigation reveals iNEMO V2 board can't give ''linear acceleration(without gravity or tilt)'', when the AHRS enabled. Is this true ?3. Now, I desperately need linear acceleration along with AHRS. If above 2 points are true. I really need help of ST to upgrade the firmware to provide linear acceleration, acceleration( linear acceleration+ gravity), along with AHRS.4. I would like to use this board as a complete system since it has all the sensors on it. So, will I be able to install the Demo iNemo firmware once I erase the Flash. I am thinking it should be possible. Can I know how I can do this. I have a RLink and RIDE7 for the development purpose.

Would you explain a way how to implement a High-pass Filter(HPF) which has the same response as embedded HPF of accelerometer ?2. Does this HPF completely removes tilt( gravity) to produce linear acceleration ?3. In LIS303DLH datasheet talks about ''linear acceleration''. Does this mean, it gives only ''linear acceleration(gravity removed)'' ?4. Would you give any mathematical steps how to remove tilt from the acceleration to get linear acceleration.Thanks.
