For the motionAD library, how are the three sensor data (accelerometer, pressure, temperature) used in combination for airplane takeoff and landing? Are they anded together for a trigger or are they ORed together. Can we only use Accelerometer to detect airplane takeoff and landing, and in the same light, use only a pressure sensor for detection?

Hello, After a few weeks of searching en experimenting I am very lost of any solution for my idea. Which is connecting two VL53L3CX sensor to an ESP32 Lolin Lite.I started a few months ago with a lot of interest in microcontrollers and via Arduino I went on to esp32, so my basic knowledge of programming is C++. Everything I read in or out of this community is in C. Which is hard for me to translate or even to use in mine code. Connecting each sensor to a Twowire function did not work, even not when connecting the two sensor to one I2C bus via a pull-up resistor of 4.7K. I got one sensor working, the other is not. When I try to scan the second sensor, I am left empty handed. So somehow the second is not active. When I init the second sensor the program stops. I include the code, the code was to big. I think it's not pleasure to read. it's a collection of a lot of experiments. Sorry for that. But still hoping someone can help me

Hi.I bought a STEVAL-STWINKT1B board, however I try to perform all the steps to be able to see the data collected by the sensors and I can't because I can't understand what I need to do. I just wanted to connect this board via usb to my pc , monitoring data and saving it to a file (eg .txt) or saving the data to the sd card.Can someone help me, please?Thank you.

Hi,I'm trying to program the SensorTile.box (in Pro Mode), I've tested the available examples from Function Packages and they are working. The thing is when I create a new project for the SensorTile.box with CubeIDE then CubeMX, the BSP generated and the BSP used for the examples applications are not really the same.So my main question is, what is the easiest way to program the SensorTile.box ? Creating my application from scratch with CubeMX or by modifying applications examples ?I thought using an application example as a basis would be easier but no example integrate all the middlewares I need, so to add middlewares, it's by copying the files or how ? Because the Middlewares .c and .h appear as kind of shortcuts in the examples, I don't know how to add shortcuts to files like this

Hi I am planning to use X-Nucleo-cca02m2 board with nucleo-f401re for audio streaming. I found the en.x-cube-memsmic1_v5.5.0 example code where the bit resolution is found to be 16 bit for USB audio streaming. But my requirment is 24 bit resolution. Will changing the bit resolution in the given source code work?

Hi, I'm a little confused about the data that is returned by VL53L3CX sensor. Here's a video illustrating the data.I would expect the histogram to be a time-series of the return pulses, with position on the x-axis representing their arrival times (directly mapping to distance), but instead its a single pulse with a fixed position and only the intensity of it changes. Am I thinking about this data wrong?

Hi. I'm trying to translate the SHT30 library for stm32l0. But I could not understand and translate the "IIC_Init" part of the code. I didn't understand the init part, I couldn't translate it and it only gives a line there What do you think are the operations it does in this function? I think it doesn't work with i2c because there are parts called SDA_IN() and SDA_OUT(). It sets it as GPIO input and GPIO output. We switched from a Bosch BMA456 to the LIS3DH, and cannot get the device to generate an interrupt, we have followed the DS and app note, nothing. This solution worked with the previous device.We need assistance, this should work, the name reads correctly and we write then read back the config registers, but no interrupt starts generating. here is the init code and the defines that go with them, is there some procedure not spelled out to get this thing generating interrupts, does it need a pull up or down on the interrupt line?H*note the tool would not allow me to post in the code, here is a scope shot a a forced data transfer, not sure why the registers are reading the same exact values.

We are using LSM6DSOXTR Sensor for getting the acceleration,Its datasheet says(4.6.2- Zero-g and zero-rate level Page no 17)"A sensor in a steady state on a horizontal surface will measure 0 g on both the X-axis and Y-axis, whereas the Z-axis will measure 1 g."but we are getting below values,X   Y       Z13 65531 6454113 65532 645426 65530 645398 65531 64540Can anyone suggest1)Why we are getting this much high values?2)How to achieve the value "0" in the X, Y-axis when the sensor is put on a flat non-moving surface?It will be more helpful if someone shares a sample code which is showing the settings and process to get correct acceleration data.Thanks

The device is in a static position on a desk and we're seeing the Z-axis with values of up to 4G. Hello,I would like to know about the integration between Nucleo-L496GZ with X-Nucleo-IKS01A2 sensor board.Is there really no example that facilitates the integration of these boards?There really is no example using the Nucleo-L496ZG integrated with sensors? Anything I want to do with this core should I build from 0?It's my first time using STM32 and from what I'm realizing I bought the product with the least amount of examples and integrations. Are there any plans for updates to insert examples of integration of Nucleo-L496ZG with sensor boards? Or do they have a tutorial that facilitates the implementation of the integration? Thank you.

I am trying to measure distance to an object, like an iPhone laying flat at 60 mm above the VL53L0X when the phone faces its black rubbery cover (back) I get the correct reading but when I flip it over to the shiny front glass surface it reads approximately half the distance which is incorrect. Is there anything that can be done to correct this issue ?

Hi,I am using VL6180X sensor in project to detect hands or other objects, without using API. I am setting registers myself. One thing that is really disappointed me regardless of other amazing features, is the interrupt and flags. Whenever the interrupt rise, I have to clear the flag. If I do not clear the flag, then there is no interrupt. My question is, does anyone have experienced malfunctioning of this sensor when everything is set correctly? I feel the sensor (maybe its MCU), stops working for any reason and it requires a restart. How could I check regularly if the sensor is scanning ranges?Thanks

Hello! For my development, I need a sensor capable of determining the angle of deviation of the platform from the equilibrium position. Also, this sensor should determine the angle of rotation of the platform. Will the ISM330DHCX inertial module be able to perform this function ?How long will the accumulated errors not make a serious contribution to the measurement result?Sincerely Anton.

I want to know if i open acc or gyro odr twice in diffrent time,how will mems work. (twice odr is the same)Question: Whether the MEMS will reset? Or if the last state is the same as now, nothing will be done?   

HelloWe use the lps27hhw in our devices. When temperature is positive - all right. But when temperature is negative - the sensor sends the temperature less than it actually is (example -40* instead -20*). I put the appliance in the freezer, the temperature is -19*, and show data from the sensor via BLE app.0 byte - status reg1-3 bytes - pressure reg4-5 bytes - temperature regThe sensor send -38 degrees of celsius.After that I put the device in the oven, the temperature is +50*. Good morning,For the company I'm working for (the CEA in Grenoble), I need to rebuild an electronic device of an old project.In order to build the PCBs, I'm looking for a specific accelerometer: the 3-axis accelerometer "LIS302DLTR" with a LGA package.I can't find any of this product online, distributors like RS or Farnell say that this product has been stopped and that it's no longer manufactured.Is there a way to buy this product again somewhere online ?Is there any replacement of this product, with the exact same package so I can put it directly in my PCBs without changing the design or the software ?Thank you !Sincerely,Antoine
