Hello everyone, I am in the development phase of a wearbale project including the use of LSM6DSO and LIS2MDL sensors.I found in the datasheets the power consumption related to the two sensors whne powered up at 1.8 V but I didn't find anythong about their current consumption on other VDD. Is there a resuming table that links the sensor's current consumption to their power supply?Thank you!Lorenzo

Hey, I am using lsm6dsr + nrf 52811.  I found out the driver code provided by ST for lsm6dso in NCS Zephyr driver code. Can I use the lsm6dso driver code for lsm6dsr development? If I can't, what are the differences from lsm6dso for lsm6dsr?Thanks,

I would like to eliminate the influence of the gravitational field g from the measurement of accelerationI tried with a high pass filter. Is this the only solution?The problem is that the sensor evolves in space with orientations that vary over time. If the variations in acceleration evolve at the same rate as the orientation of the sensor, the low pass filter eliminates g but also eliminates the acceleration. how to do ? Hidoes the wrap-around feature work for the FIFO output registers as well?Can I just enable wrap-around in CTRL5 register, and read 7*number of words in FIFO bytes starting with register 78h to get the entire content of the FIFO?I have a hard time retrieving the data in time, Tiva C lib takes way too long to start and stop SPI transactions. Now I don't have the hw with me to simply test it.thanks,Lorand

So this is a broad question, but I have been combing through the LSM6DSO datasheet all day, and I know that the sensor returns its own timestamp data. Beyond that, however, I am struggling to access this data. (My acceleration and gyro values are returned just fine.) I tried using the readRegister() function, and I tried seeing what values I get from printing (TIMESTAMP_EN). I am working in the Arduino IDE, and using the SparkFun board of the LSM6DSO, connected to an ESP32 Thing Plus C via the Qwiic connection, so there's no guesswork about the wiring. Hello,I'm working with MKBOXPRO and I'm using the Entry/Expert Firmware to send to my app via bluetooth accelerations and gyro speeds. I think default ODR is 60 Hz for both datas.How can I modify ODR and increase it?In case there isn't a way to do it wiithout coding which files of which fimrware I have to modify?Thanks, best regards.CClaudio De Checchi

Hi,Greetings!We are planning to use ASM330LHHTR in our design. As per the datasheet of Gyro sensor chip, it is recommended to have a decoupling capacitor of 0.1uF+10uF (Aluminum). Since we don't have enough space in our board to accommodate the Aluminum capacitor, can we use 10uF ceramic instead of 10uF Aluminum?Please let me know your thoughts and will it have any impact on the design?Regards,Sowmiya

The IMU sensor is  working on two input voltage supply 1.Vdd - Core supply 2.Vddio - digital I/O supply.My questions are in below.1.Is it better to supply the Vdd and Vddio seperately from two voltage regulators? 2.Is it better to supply the Vdd and Vddio from single voltage regulator?3.Which method 1 or 2 is best, to increase the accuracy of IMU sensor?4.What are power supply specifications(Ex: Output voltage accuracy and PSRR-power supply rejection ratio etc)?

I want to utilize the Unicode GUI for my ISM330IS Project, but my motherboard does not respond.. I've already updated the motherboard's firmware, tried different Unicode versions on Windows, and even checked the STink driver. Interestingly, Unicleo and STM32CubeIDE are both functioning flawlessly with my hardware. Can you help me?

Hi, I am using a STEVAL-MKI109V3 mother board to evaluate 2 accelerometers :LSM6DSOX (STEVAL-MKI197V1)LIS2DUXS12I want to use the GUI software UNICO v9.14.6.0 but when I want to connect my device, an error popup appear : "ERROR : The adapter board has not been recognized. The WHO_AM_I register value does not match the device selected".I have updated the motherboard firmware with the v3.48.3 but I still have the problem with my 2 MEMS boards ...Can someone help me ?

I have a custom setup which contains a microcontroller STM32L412RB and a ICM-42688 P.I tried to communicate with the ICM-42688 P via SPI (4-wire, tried both 1MHz and 100kHz) using the command 0x75 to READ the WHO_AM_I register (thanks for implementing that!). Yet, I get back a 0x0 and not a 0x47. I then observed the signals in oscilloscope, transmission is happening properly but I'm not receiving any data from the IMU sensor.I also need to get the data from Accelerometer and Gyroscope registers. Can anyone help me through this..?

Hello...I'm currently testing the LSM6DS3TR-C sensor output before trying to proceed to calibration.I already run the internal self-test on the accelerometer and gyroscope, both results were between the acceptable range.After that I did my own tests on both sensors (change over temperature, change over orientation, noise calculation, time for stability, etc), I didn't get any problems while testing the acelerometer, but in the case of the gyroscope I didn't get "reliable" data.First of all, the time of stability (the real output when the sensor is still after turning the sensor ON) is pretty slow compare to the accelerometer, only after 1 minute and 25 seconds (for X and Y axis) and 6 minutes and 10 seconds (for Z axis) I can consider the output to be stable.The thing that is really troublesome for calibration purposes is the repetability of the gyroscope, after the output of the gyroscope is "stable", it is not the same after turning the sensor ON again. Hi everyone,I am using a STWINKT1B and I am trying to evaluate its power consumption while operating. The Wifi communication always works well when I power the board by the battery or the USB port but never when I plug it to my voltage source (5V on J5). To be precise, I'm using the STWIN BSP drivers available here  and es_wifi firmware by freertos available here. For the Wifi module to be initialized it requires that it first raise a data ready signal which is on PE11.Unfortunately when the board is powered though the external source, this signal is never raised and the Wifi connection never occurs.  Im wondering how changing the power source can change the code behaviour, maybe the code has some unpredictable behaviour, but it's mostly drivers, almost no custom code is executed before it gets stuck. Thanks for your help.

Hello, I have been trying to make a accelerator project by using lis302dl accelorator on STM32f407 vg discovery card. There are three axis which are x, y and z. These have x, y and z variables according to position of lis302dl on the card. I have used SPI1 and E3 pin for CS. When ı observe the values on STM Studio, x and z variables changed everytime which is good. However y variables is always zero, I enabled x, y, z on lis302 dl register though. Hi,I am using LSM6DSO32X using SPI communication in TI AM2634 Chip.By default, I made a packet of Ctrl1_xl and Ctrl2_xl to 0x10b0 0x1110, and the Accel data and GYRO data were output.I saw Datasheet, but it's too hard to understand what each register is playing.Can you tell me the appropriate Register setting example?Can you tell me how to use LPF?The figure shows the data output to my register settings.From the top left, Accel X, Y, Z, Gyro P, R, Y. Also, how do you correct each Accel value and GYRO value?Do I have to implement it in my own software? Thank you

helloI'm currently using the LPS22DF pressure transducer, which can withstand up to 22,000 g, but since in the work environment there's dust and water, I'm going to switch to either the LPS28DFW or LPS33K since they're waterproof, but in their datasheet there's no indication of shock resistance?my second question is how can i protect the sensor against dust?

Can i reduce the sensitivity ("sensitivity": 1) for a microphone (IMP23ABSU) for it not to reach the 130dbSPL? What does the "samplesPerTs": 1000" translate to? Is the sampling frequency defined with "ODR": 192000" or "ODRMeasured": 192000" ? What is the connection and the difference between ODR and ODRMeasured?   That is the reason i want to achieve the reduction of sensitivity. Im measuring an air-leakage that has a diameter or 1 mm at a distance of 20 cm. The Amplitudes are normalized (x * 1V/32768). Any ideas on how to achieve this?

I am currently working with the LSM6DSOX IMU sensor from ST and I am unable to write to registers of the sensor.I am addressing the sensor via 4 Wire SPI.For example if I try to set the output data rate which is located in the register CTRL1_XL (0x10) setting the register to 0x40 and read back the register afterwards it is still at 0x00Here is the data sent as seen by my logic analyzer (Chip Select is not pictured in this screenshot but it is low for the entire 16bit transfer)First 8 bits is the address 0x10 (+write bit which is 0) and the next 8 is the data I want to write to it but if I read back this exact register after a short delay the register still shows 0x00.(this is the same address, the first bit indicates read or !write so it looks different)Reading registers seems to work fine. (registers like the who am I register return the correct data)Does anyone know what the issue could be

In my design, when setting the ODR = 100Hz or below ,  I can get 100hz INT signals , and received 100 sets vibration data every Second.  （Using XYZ data-ready as int1）and modify the ODR setting to 200Hz , just get 200 hz INT signals ，and received 145 sets data。How to improve the actual ODR ?  We want  realize 1.376KHz @hr_it mode or 5.376kHz @LP mode,  Which mcu is suitable ?  STM32F103  70MHz ?  or  higher End ?   And I2C interface is suitable for 5.376kHz ? or must be SPI ？
