Good morning everyone,We bought a STM32F103C8T6 Evaluation Board ADS1256 (https://www.amazon.it/Lodokdre-STM32F103C8T6-acquisition-Industrial-Control/dp/B0C582B33D), after writing the firmware I am trying to debug it with the ST-LINK V2 programmer (https://www.digikey.it/it/products/detail/adafruit-industries-llc/2548/6827110). When loading the STM32CUBE IDE firmware I get the error:Error in final launch sequence:Failed to start GDB serverFailed to start GDB serverError in initializing ST-LINK device.Reason: (18) Could not verify ST device! Abort connection.Reading some forums they advise me to use OpenOCD as a debugger, but even with this setting I can't communicate.STM32CubeProggrammer allows me to communicate with the board, but at this stage of work I need the debugger.Can someone kindly give me some advice?Thank you very muchGian

Hello, I am trying to build a power supply to power a vehicle tracker.  Can I use two RBO40 in series, so the output of first RBO40 connected to input of second RBO40?  Reason, when a thief steals a vehicle they want to stop the tracker working and sending out GPS coordinates, and quickly.  If they find the tracker's power cable but cannot find tracker because they are quickly working in a public area like a car park they might consider using high voltage like connecting up to 230volts to kill the tracker.  While we can never be sure what actions the attacker will do my thinking is the first RBO40 will be toast and assuming it has created an open circuit, the second RBO40 will continue to ensure nothing bad happens to the battery backed tracker. Putting the above scenario aside, and it isn't my question because there are too many ifs and buts, my question to ST Community is can I safely use two RBO40 in series for about $2-4 to protect $200-400 of components? The datasheet provides information on the thermal resistance for an aluminum PCB, but I need to know the thermal resistance when using a glass epoxy (FR4) PCB.Could you please provide the thermal resistance values for the L6201PS on an FR4 PCB?Thank you for your assistance.

Welcome to everyone!This question concerns the STM32F103CBT6 microcontroller , I have given a "BluePill" module equipped with this microcontroller. When I download the hex or elf file with STM Programer, it downloads nicely, no problem, But! however, it catches itself without any precedent and locks itself, and a message appears that it is only available in Reset mode, the program meter is no longer connected to the microcontroller. Could this be eliminated somehow, so that whenever I want to download something, can I do it without any problems? There should be no microcontroller "locking", etc. . Hello, I am currently in possession of the sensor tile development kit(STEVAL-STLKT01V1) and am attempting to find ways to use cloud logging with the sensor tile classic app; however, the only options I have seen were using IoT and from my understanding they require payment. Would there be any other ways to log the data on the cloud or an external device for mass data collections?

Hello,I'm facing an issue while trying to program my WeAct STM32F411CEU6 board using a genuine ST-Link/V2 programmer via SWD interface. The ST-Link firmware version is V2J38S7 and the target voltage is detected as 3.14V.However, every time I attempt to upload code (via STM32CubeIDE or ST-Link Utility), I get the following error:"No STM32 target found" or"Cannot connect to target. Please select 'Connect Under Reset'..."I’ve verified the following:SWDIO is connected to PA13, SWCLK to PA14, GND and 3.3V connected properly.NRST pin is also connected from ST-Link to MCU.BOOT0 is set to GND.Tried both normal and "Connect Under Reset" modes in ST-Link Utility.Reduced SWD frequency to as low as 4kHz.Tried pressing and holding RESET during connection attempts.Despite all this, the debugger still fails to connect. The device is detected on PC and ST-Link firmware is up to date. Could this be a firmware protection (RDP), hardware lock, or some issue with the board itself?Any help or suggestions w

Hello everyone,  Who so ever is seeing the post please help me out  I was trying to upload code into STM32 blackpill (STM32F401CCU6) using USB cable and STMCubeIDE and STMCubeProgrammer but I think my STM board had got locked in the DFU state and even after power cutting also the blue led is not flashing nor after hitting the reset button anything is working more over the STM32CubeProgrammer is unable to recognise the board and showing No DFU found. But my device manager is showing the STM32 Bootloader  Please help me out

Hey there I'm new to develop STM32 software ,my setup is 2 dev kits with bluepill cards ADC sensors buttons etc (they ll use same code and comunicate each other ), I have doubt on Uart COM, because I see a problem on PA2_EX_CRONO and PA2_EX_ADC which I cant receive data from 2nd kit and code stucks on that part of process , there is an example of video what happens and the code requirements list:a.1) From the MCU RESET, test to see if the displays (4x7-SEG) are working on the shield. The test should turn on all display segments and their decimal points: and remain that way; a.2) Also from the RESET, the program should trigger an increasing timer; a.3) and should also trigger an ADC converter that samples continuously, we will read an analog value on pin PA0. The ADC sampling rate will be 5 samples / second. b) Whenever you press button A1 (PA1) on the Arduino shield, the 7-SEG display alternates the timer and ADC value every 4 seconds (2v/4s: 2 values/4 secs => timer for 4s, ADC for

I’ll be handling the communication via UART and AT commands.My question is: should I build my own library to manage the SIM7600 and MQTT communication, or is there an existing library or resource that could help? Please check the figure below,  as request by our customers, we need to update the test report every 2 years.But the test report we received before the molding compound was supplied by different supplier, can we know if it's due to different assembling site (ST & Amkor) ?  Or there is a PCN of material change for this part.

Hello All,M95256-A125 chip is used as external EEPROM for our automotive product .The product is in field use  & recently some field issues are reported On analyzing field return unit , it's found that the most of the data in EEP chip is either corrupted or in erased  .What are the possible cases where such erasing / corruption can occurDoes any environmental conditions can cause this problemThanks 

I am trying to identify an ST IC with marking MZ938.  It is an 8-SOIC and it is used in a circuit which helps maintain charge on a 24V battery and is fed by a boost switching circuit.  It also has 0621 marked on it.  I assume that's the date code.

Hello everyone! I'm new here and I apologize if I'm creating a post in the wrong section.   I'm kindly asking if someone can help me with the information about TDA7294. I own an (old) Logitech Z-5500 5.1 Surround PC speaker system, and I'm trying to fix it. There are 7x TDA7294 amplifiers used on that system (1 per every channel and 2 for the woofer) . The system was manufactured back in 2008. I was just about to order it from german branch of Mouser (mouser.de) but then I saw that TDA7294 is not being manufactured anymore. Instead there are few other 'variations'. https://www.mouser.de/c/?q=TDA7294TDA7294VTDA7294HSSome people said that 'V' version is 'vertical' while 'HS' version is 'horizontal'. But looking at specifications (and the look of the amplifier itself) a 'V' version is closer to the original TDA7294.I'm just not sure which one should I pick. I would need 7 pcs, and since they are not cheap, I would like to pick the correct one. Can you tell me which one I should pick
