Others: hardware and software

Can anyone suggest a suitable alternative to the STS25NH3LL power MOSFET?  I have been using these for H-bridge control of a brushless DC motor but can get hold of them anymore.  I don't want to re-design the board so it needs to have the same SO-8 package.Thanks for any help.​

Hello Sir/Madam,Greetings!!!!!This is Akshay pathak working as a Embedded Hardware Engineer in Teksun Microsys Pvt Ltd.I have some query regarding the analog switch IC part No. STG3693. We want to evaluate basic audio application by using of analog switch IC (Part no: STG3693) which have an R(ON) resistance 4 ohm.In that, we want to disturb the audio signal of headphone speakers as well as a mic. so we implement this analog switch between headphone and mobile.So my point is if this part is suitable for our application or not and if not then suggest us correct part which is suitable for our application.Kindly let me know if you have any query or need more information for the same.Thanks,Akshay Pathak.

HiI'm using L9825 in one of my applications and have couple of questions just to make sure I get it right:1- I have Vcc=3.3v and Reset line pulled high. Is that ok?2- my understanding is that NON1 and NON2 can be used to directly drive OUT1 and OUT2 independently of SPI interface; So after setting NON1 and NON2 to digital low/high, do I need to use the NCS line at all? anything else that I should consider?Thank you.

Posted on June 15, 2018 at 04:56Recently we get a series of EPCS4SI8N parts which are in flash memory type. After comparing with golden samples provides by our customer, we found several key differences in its die structure and surface marking pattern. We also find ST logo in golden sample's die marking surprisingly, although it is manufactured by Altera. Can any technical staff from ST explain these marking problems? Thank you! The following are the key differences of our products from golden samples:Surface markings show big differences include that on Top and bottom patterns.  Our samples show no MFG logo but ''MIAMI4M'' and ''2013-0329'' die markings on die surface. Golden samples show ST's logo, copy right 2008 and ''52JB 4'' die markings on die surface. All our samples don't match with golden samples both on surface and die markings. We hesitate that we buy fake parts. Please help to explain whether the markings can verify if these samples are good

we have completed the prototype functional testing and 150 pilot batch is in progress, before going to mass production(2000 Nos ) we need to implement the security protocol.

Posted on June 28, 2018 at 20:06Hello,In my application, I am trying to interface a pressure sensor to the STR73x on BSPI1. The sensor will send pressure information to the STR73x, so the operation is pure receive mode. I have configured the BSPI1 as Master, have Masked the SS, and have setup a RX FIFO that's 10 words (16-bit) deep.My question is about how to initiate the receive operation. My understanding is that the SS will be asserted low when something is written to the BSPI transmit data register, but how long with this assert the SS for? Do I need to periodically write to the transmit data register to assert the SS?Another question I have is about the RX FIFO. I have configured the BSPI to trigger an interrupt to the processor when the RX FIFO is full. So when this happens, how will I be able to access all the 10 words of the RX FIFO? Not sure how to do this - would I have to use &(BSPI1->RXR) as the pointer to the base of the FIFO?I appreciate any help.Thanks,Sira♯‌ h

I have questions about the dimensions of this component: 1. The gap between pins can be questionable. Referring to page11, Gap = E-L1-L2. If I use nominal value, gap is 1.35-0.45-0.75mm = 0.15mm only. If I use the maximum value, gap is 1.4-0.55-0.85mm = 0. Which means the pad will touch each other which is impossible. 2. From the drawing, we will notice that the edge of L2 cannot be more than the body center. But the dimension of L2 is more than half of E. 3. if I refer to the recommended footprint in page 12, the recommended edge of L2 is at the body center. Which means portion of the upper pins will not be covered by pad if we follow vendor's recommendation. Please help verify the dimensions for us to be able to design the footprint.

In RHFLVDS2281K01V LVDS buffer,it is written RHFLVDS2281K01V is qualified for Aerospace but we want to know is RHFLVDS2281K01V also qualified for Space Applications? That is does RHFLVDS2281K01V tested according to Space grade standards and is suitable for harsh conditions of Space?Any help will be highly appreciated.Kind Regards,Lalit

Common mode filter with ESD protection2. EMI filter and ESD protectionBoth claims, same ESD protection levels. In particular I was interested in putting more of these switches in parallel in order to split the current load. Posted on April 09, 2018 at 14:17We are using the M25P16 memory and we get one memory that we can't do a bulk erase.On this one, we only do this action in the following steps:- Complete erase with the bulk erase command and polling for the end- program only the sectors 0 to 5Few days and electricals power on/off, we tried a complete erase with a bulk erase command. The device seems to be stuck in the erase process (the WIP is always 1, we check the status register more than 3min after the bulk erase command). Impossible to send another command even after 1h, only an electrical reset give us the possibity to send write command.We found that we can't erase the sector 7 with the sector erase command. All other one can be erased.We are asking if all sectors are ckecked before.ThanksSebastien
