Hello All,I have a camera of 5 MP and optical light engine with display of 1280 x 720 pixels.Can I run both the peripherals on MIPI interface simultaneously such that the camera content is input/feed is input to optical light engine having display of 1280 x 720 pixels. I am using STM32N647A0. Do we have a running example on STM32N6. I have the N6-DK board. Please suggest and recommend. Best Regards,Sakshi  

Hi, we have perform a series of environment test for STM32H533, including thermal cycle and vibration test.Durting vibration test, DUTs are powered off, while under thermal cycle test, DUT is powered on.After the test, all application part still function as expected, including UART, ADC, basic IO...etc. However, we've found that three, out of six, DUTs can NOT be accessed through debug interface SWD. Moreover, there are few things abnormal,nRst pin is about 3V, even through VDD is 3.3VST-Link can NOT drive nRST pin to 0V, only 1.5V to 2V.same as SWCLK, cannot be driven low to 0V, as nRST pin.Is there anything we can do to further identify the root cause of the failure?Can anyone shed some light on this? Zt. 

Hi, I hope this is the right place to ask. I'm currently working on interfacing an SD Card with a nucleo f767. I used the DS-Bits in CR2 to set the data frame to 8 Bit (what also should be the reset value). Despite that, MOSI always sends the whole data register, which is 16 Bits. So if I use the function below to send 0xFF, the hardware will send 0x00FF. Hi ， I 'm using NUCLEO-G071RB to test RTC using LSE 32.768k.I using RTC to generate a second alarm and in the interrupt to toggle the pin output(PC6).But i find a issue if follow below steps the interrupt not enter, and the program goes wrong.1. erase the chip.2.Debug the code using IAR+onboard stlink.3.Run the program, the interrupt will not enter,and the program goes wrong.But if i follow below steps, the interrupt runs OK ,and the program goes right.1.Program the mcu g071.2.Power cycle the nucleo board by disconnect /connect the USB.3. After power on the program goes right.  

Is it possible to divide by 1 for DIVP of PLL1?According to RM0433 Rev8, DIVP of PLL1 is capable of dividing by 1.However, I could not set division by 1 in CubeIDE. (It is possible that my setting is incorrect.)

Greetings, I am using STM32CubeIDE version 1.18, Running FreeRTOS, and using the HAL library to configure the ETH device.   I have the STM32H573 ETH port configured as MII, and communicating with an external ethernet switch device (also in MII mode). We want the link to be Full Duplex 10 Mbps. We can see that the MAC CR register has bit 14 as a zero, which is 10 Mbps mode.   GRISHKA $ peek 0x40028000 [40028000] 0x3830A003   Yet, we I probe the RX and TX clocks with my scope, I see both clocks at 25 Mhz (40 nsec period). I believe at 10 Mbps, the clock frequency should be 2.5 Mhz (400 nsec period) ? Thanks Ken Carlson Edit by ST Moderator: Add the right labels  

I am using an STM32G0B0RET and trying to use USART2 w/ RS232 Flow Control (Both CTS and RTS) on pins PA0 - PA3.  I am also trying to use pin PD5 as a standard GPIO_Output.  PD5 has the additional functionality of being USART2_TX. However I am seeing weird behavior off of the PD5 pin as it never seems to pull the line over 0.01V.  I have tried disabling flow control and moving the USART Init above the GPIO init in the main function.   My initial assumption was that because USART2 is active on the device, PD5 cannot be used as an output, however looking at the GPIO block diagram that doesn't seem like the expected behavior.  This would lead me to believe that I can't use PD6 as its additional functionality is USART2_RX. But that means that pin isnt controlled by the microcontroller which means that potentially the data written to PD6 would appear as UART RX data internally to the device??? I am not sure what is wrong in this case. Any insight, suggestions, or tes

Hi, We would like to implement a parity checks on the internal RAM to detect random upsets. I understand some STM devices support this feature and I was trying to find one that supports it. I have searched several datasheets but so far I can't find mention of it.  I found a thread that stated that the STM32F3 has it, but the STM32F4, I don't know if that is true. Hello, I am currently working on implementing a memory-to-memory DMA transfer on a STM32N6 board, but I have trouble making the DMA work (GPDMA or HPDMA).I tried to follow the Reference Manual for a LL implementation, but my code doesn't work and I can't find why. I'm a beginner in using DMAs but I still managed to make the DMA work on smaller STM32s such as the STM32F411RE, by following the User Manual, but on STM32N6, it does not work. You can find my code on the figure below. I have 8 bytes to transfer between two buffers in a secured AXISRAM2 memory space. I chose to transfer bursts such that 1 burst = 1 beat = 1 byte. I chose HPDMA because I am transferring data in AXISRAMs (I assumed it wouldn't work with GPDMA since it is adapted to AHB/APB).When I debug my code I can see that the Transfer Complete Flag in the Status Register was enabled but my destination buffer is still empty (it didn't copy the source buffer).Do you have any advice on why my code doesn't work ?

Hi allFor some reason my MCO(PA8) only outputting 8MHz despite me configuring it for 60MHzI am completely baffled because I have followed all the correct register settings(as far as I am aware) for the clock configuration, and have followed the clock diagram from the stm32cubeide       I'm working on an STM32U5G9x and its my first time working on such an advanced topic, so apologies beforehand. Kind regards  

After doing some primary embedded projects (LED, user button etc) on my MCU (Nucleo-64 STM32 F411RE) I'm now dealing with timers. Here's my clock configurations1- Does anything look wrong?2- While my clock rate is 100 MHZ (as written on my board pack), should I change that 84 (in the HCLK (MHz) field) to 100 in the configuration?

Hi, I'm looking for LSE crystal and I alredy know there are prodcut recommendations tables in the AN2867 document,  for the LSE crystal, so I'm looking a crystal for my STM32L4P5RGT6 MCU, there is many crystals that are compatible with my MCU family (STM32L4P+), so what criteria should I use tho choose a product in specific?There is different C0, CL, ESR, gmcrit for different crystals what to look at when when choosing?This is the table I'm referring toThanks for your time. 

Hi, I made an STM32G4 and TCAN1044VDRQ1 setup and tried to use the FDCAN, but I couldn't get it to work. There is no response from the transceiver. I tried all the bit timings and used calculators to compute the values. I used a USB-to-CAN FD analyzer and sent a message, but there is no response in the HAL_FDCAN_RxFifo0Callback interrupt.It is not getting triggered when a message comes in. I don’t know what to do. I’ve spent too much time on this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Hi  I working on a STM32H757BIT6 custom board. I try to take a referance with riverdi TouchGFX. This is my power connection with an mcu.                        Additionally, I have measured the voltage on the VLXSMPS pin and found it to be approximately 1.01V. This pin is not connected to any external voltage source, indicating that the internal SMPS is likely enabled. For the power configuration, I am using a 2.2µH inductor as recommended in the reference manual. However, the VCAP pin only outputs 0.17V, which is significantly lower than the expected ~1.2V. This suggests that the internal regulator is not functioning correctly. I programmed the Riverdi development board itself with a basic LED blink application. The programming was completed successfully. However, when I attempted to reprogram the board or reconnect via the ST-LINK, I encountered the same issue as with my custom board:"No device found on target." I the

I'm working with an STM32H735 Discovery board. I have DFSDM working via the STMOD+ connector. I'm currently designing a PCB that will plug into the Arduino header to better connectorize our PDM mics, add a few additional parts, etc. and move all DFSDM signals to PC0, PB14, and PC2 (on the Arduino header).But I've discovered that even though I can assign DFSDM1_CKOUT to pin PC2, I'm not seeing the clock signal. I can set the pin as a GPIO out and toggle it just fine, so I've verified it comes to the right pin on the Arduino header. PC2 drives the on-board user LED LD2. Is it the situation that the DFSDM peripheral can't drive the clock signal with the LED and 680R resistor pulling the line high? Thing is, the line stays low; I'd think in DFSDM mode it'd have trouble pulling the line low if it were a situation of the LED+resistor acting as a strong pull-up. I'd considered removing R143 or LD2, but the fact that the line stays low makes me think that's not the issue.  

Hello :) i am working with a nucleo-h755zi.my goal is to create the following:1. M7 core running with FreeRTOS and LWIP.2. M4 Core running bare metal. after using the following instructions (https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-create-project-for-stm32h7-with-ethernet-and-lwip-stack/ta-p/49308#memory-layout ) i was able to achive (1).unfortenoutly it seems that while the M7 runs fine and i am able to ping it, the M4 Systick is not OK (uwTick is always 0), i also noticed that this problem is fixed when i disable M7 MPU defenitions.i suspect that the LWIP stack is somehow blocking or corrupting M4 Data. Please advise on how to resolve this, perhaps i am missing something?  thanks for your help and responses in advance :)

Follow-on from STM32L433RCT6 - Which external interrupt GPIO pin can I used for wakeup ?I am using the STM32L433RCT6 with a WKUP pin (GPIO PC13) to wake the MCU from shutdown mode.Does it matter which edge I used (rising or falling) ?I am currently using a switch to ground (i.e. falling edge)... Also, once the MCU is awake and running, am I still able to read this pin as a digital input ?Because the switch will also be used to put the MCU back into standby, so I need to be able to monitor the state of the WJUP pin.

I have an STM32CubeIDE project using HAL for a STM32G071RBT6I have Port D bits 0 to 6 set up for GPIO Input, with pull-up enabled.In hardware these are connected to an 8-WAY dip switch, which when each switch is "on" connects the respective pin to GND. (PB3[STOPBITS] is connected to the 8th switch) The issue is that when I read the port usingid = (GPIOD->IDR & 0x7F); /* Lowest 7-bits are from PORT D0-D6 */Bits 0 and 2 are always stuck at 0.With the board powerd off I have tested the board connctions to the chip and the dip switch, all seems OK. There is no short to GND on bits 0 and 2.I checked the resistance on all the bits of port D and bits 0 and 2 have about 500KΩ to ground, whereas the rest of port D has about 7 MΩI have checked through the rest of my code and it's not doing anything else to PORT D, and the alternate-function registers (PORTD->AFR) read all zero immediately before reading from the IDR.I have five of these boards, all made by JLCPCB (including assemb

I'm programming one of the dual-core STM32s (the STM32H747IGT6) and running into a situation where the CM4 is much slower than I need it to be, and I'm trying to figure out why. I'm using this short piece of code as my test bed: __COMPILER_BARRIER(); start_timer = TIM5->CNT; if ( (loopState == WaitingToStoreValues) && (i < last_i) ) { num_data = 0; loopState = StoringValues; } end_timer = TIM5->CNT; __COMPILER_BARRIER(); start_timer, loopState, i, last_i, and num_data are all stack variables, and TIM5 is set to run at full speed (240 MHz) so it ticks once every 4.1666 nsec.   The conditions in the 'if' statement are rarely met, and when I run this code a gazillion times the delta is 56 ticks 99% of the time so I'm assuming that's the "condition not met" situation.  The rest of the time the delta is anywhere from 18 to 84 ticks. I tried bracketing with __disable_irq/__enable_irq and it made no difference, so it's not IRQs causing the slowdow

Hi,I'm trying to get a stm32u073 to wake up from stop mode using an RTC alarm. I previously did the same on a stm32f103 which seemed to work just fine. When trying the same on the stm32u073 the controller either doesn't wake up or wakes up every second depending on which mode is used for the RTC (BCD or binary).In binary mode the controller wakes up every second not using the set time for the alarm, in bcd mode it doesn't wake up at all.Is there something that has to be done differently when using the stm32u73? Or does anyone have a working example for waking up the stm32u073 from stop mode using an RTC alarm?
