STM32 MCUs Products

There is  a STM32G0B1KET6 and a STM32G0B1KET6N available to order.Chapter 7 Ordering information in the datasheet only evaluates to "x = N for “N” product version". I am curious for more information what this means.

Hi, I have STM32H503 mounted on my board and to trying flash the code via SWD line. However, the tool says target not detected. The supply lines show 3.3V and boot pin is grounded.  I am using pins- SWDIO, SWCLK, RESET and GND. 

Hello!I'm writing a software to read the frequency that I receive on two channels of the same 16bit timer. (Channel 1 and Channel 2)The channels are set on rising edge captures. Timer prescaler is set 21 - 1. ARR = 0xFFFF.Given: X1 = First CaptureX2 = Second CaptureOV = number of overflowARR = PeriodFormula = X2 + (OV * ARR) - X1.I have the TIM interrupt where I basically read the SR register for which interrupt got fired, clear the flag and proceed to do the operations. The problem is that given the same frequency (with a frequency generator ) at 400hz I read 400hz (most of the time) but I sometimes read 52ish HZ which is basically the formula with an additional overflow, although I reset the overflow counter at every first capture. Hello,I'm currently tring to do an app and I want to switch in unprivileged mode when I'm in secure and privileged mode. The switch is working but the uart is not working in unprivileged mode. It works in privileged mode. When I debug my code go in the hardfaultHandler(). I don't understand why. Here is my code attached. The hardfault happen in line 227. It exactly happen when I try to acces with the HAL_UART_Received(). Thanks for your help  

Hi, after spending already the half day, i finally found one problem of multiple:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/cmsis-device-g4/blob/master/Include/stm32g431xx.hLine 1029 continues with wrong offset. Should be 18. Following are wrong too.After fixing this error, i still cant get the DMA to work on ADC1. ADC2 works fine, so i guess i figured it out. What i think is, that there may be more mistakes?EDIT:Allthough the above is different than in the manual, and the debugview, that part seems to work. Is "DMA request MUX input" No. 5 really connected to ADC1?? (Manual page 426) The DMA just does not get triggered.

Dear community, my Nucleo H723ZG captures analog signals via channels (see attachment) :ADC12_INP15,ADC12_INP10 andADC12_INP10 The second one reads a 4-20mA pressure signal from a sensor with the help of an external shunt resistor. After a system reset/reboot, the voltage there is now frozen at 0.021mA which is weird and I start suspecting that this specific analog input port has some issue...Could it be, that the input impedance of analog input ports is configurable and might go to a different state after a reset or software reboot?Thanks in advanceKind regards

If Systembootloader Doesnt detect anything comming from any peripheral, does it timeout and jump to 0x8000000?Because by reading AN3154 , it looks like it does, but when im trying with my stm32f405RE it doesn

Hi all. I am using STM32H747BIT6 with cm4 & cm7 cores but I am struggling with debugging my application. I started a new STM32 project using the CubeIDE wizard and gave the ioc file to generate simple code. Then I built the two projects (m4 & m7). After that I clicked on "Run" to flash the cm7 with its program and then clicked on "Debug" to flash & debug the cm4. After doing that I was expecting that I could click on "pause" and get the core running the while (1) loop. However the application is "suspended" at address 0xa05f0000 with SIGTRAP Even after resetting the HW I always stuck at this address. Can someone please explain me whats going on here? And, more important, how to configure the IDE that I can debug the cm4 without any problems? Yonatan   P.S. If my data is more than one 32-bit word and I have to write it one 32-bit word at a time to the FIFO, is it possible that the USB controller could send just the first 32-bit word?  I am doing an academic activity where I was asked to execute a reading process from an external RTC via i2C, but on another MCU, I used a repeat timer, but I was unsuccessful. Something seems to interfere with the I2C communication and according to the analyzer (I am using a didactic simulator) the bus clock signal is not generated, but I see a series in the data signal exactly at the programmed time, so the firmware seems to freeze when writing to the I2C bus.On an STM32 (especially on the Nucleo Nucleo-F411RE board) is it possible to nest the communication inside a repeat timer interrupt? I did not get to know in my studies on STM32 about which timers exist, which document should I read to learn more about this subject?

We did many projects using Stm32f105rbt6. Stm32f103ret6 now is cheaper with more memory and the pinout is the same. Can we use Stm32f103ret6 directly without any programming changes?

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read and answer my question. What I want to do:I have SYSCLK configured at a frequency of 16 MHz (using HSI), and a PLL block clock with a frequency of 18 MHz.I want to sample the PLL clock on the rising edge of the SYSCLK. (the application in which I want to use this is not really of interest in this post).What is the most efficient way to do this?Use a timer channel in input capture mode for the reference clock and read the value of the other channel where I connect the 18 MHz clock, whenever I have a rising edge?Interrupts? (It seems like 16.000.000 interrupts a second might saturate the CPU)Any other good way?

In my app, I need MCU to go to stop mode and then wake up by RTC timer. I follow this RTC wake up example and manage to make MCU go to stop mode for a few seconds and then wake up. Because in my app, we want MCU to wake up once in a few hours instead of a few seconds. The problem occurs when I try to increase the counter by 1000 times, the stop mode duration is still a few seconds. Can someone enlighten me what the issue is? Does the time counter have limit? It is an unsigned 32 bit integer, which can be very large. Or is it constrained by hardware?

Good morning community,I am using the STM32L496QGI6 for a certain application using the uart to send and receive messages, in this case it always gives me symbols even with the baudrate correctly configured, I have checked the clock configuration and it is correct for 80Mhz but when checking by means of a 70ms pulse on any pin it tends to have a phase shift of almost 10%, the SYS has been configured with the TIM3, what is the cause of this phase shift, how can I correct it? I have tested the same configuration with an STM32L476 and everything works correctly. 

Can anyone give a hint on where to look for proper documentation on CAN bus development? I see some primitive examples online, though there are a lot of moments that are not explained as they shouldFor example, CAN filtering and identificator masking are not reflected anywhere (as far as I look). Am I missing something?The CAN standard specification is there, of course. Should it be fullfilling in regard of development for STM?Sorry if I'm breaking local ethics of asking a questionThank you

Hi all,  I am using STM32U575ZIT nucleo board.  My goal is to write ODR register of GPIOD by using GPDMA transfer, using TIM2 to trigger the memory-to-peripheral transfer. In this "test" script, I use a 2-elements source array to force ODR all high and then all low. I want this operation to be continuous, hence the GPDMA is configured in circular mode. Hello,we use the STM32G474 with a single supply voltage of 3V3 at the VDD Pins.At the moment we investigate defective microcontrollers. The Microcontrollers are defective after several hours with the 3V3 VDD voltage supplied.
