Creating the phase shift is proving challenging, but I had an idea that I believe, in theory, should work. However, I cannot seem to get the configuration correct to implement it. I am using the STM32F303RE. Let me explain my strategy:I am utilizing TIM1 and TIM3. Hi,I'm working with a STM32F439 and I set both timers, timer3 & timer4 to produce a 460ns pulse at a 50Hz frequency with their PWM feature. Now I need to be able to control their offset to each other with the ability to set it to 0. But it appears like the lowest offsety I can achieve is 1.23us. We have a STM32U575xx chip, where I want to read a bunch of voltages continuously.These voltages don't need to be measured at a particularly high rate, nor does the timing need to be strict. So it seemed efficient to run the ADC continuously with DMA. We expect that somewhere in memory there are constantly updating ADC readouts, and we can read these values when we want to, without any blocking calls. In my application, I am working with UART communication between UART4 and UART7.Objective:I am sending data from UART4 (connected to the Virtual COM port on the board).The data is transmitted from UART4 to UART7.After sending the data, I expect a response from UART7, but I am unable to receive it.Steps I Follow:Initially, I used the HAL_UART_Receive_IT function for UART7 reception. Hello,I'm just started using a nucleo-h742x. I have configured the SPI and the Fatfs library using the default settings, the SPI speed was configured at speed below 1Mbit/s. The sys clock is below 100MHz.I always get disk_not_ready error when trying to mount the drive (error code 3).The problem is that I don't see any signal on the MOSI line when a transaction should appear. I have also tried a simple HAL_spi_transmit(), but I have the same problem. I see the clock appearing but no signal on MOSI.Someone has some suggestions? On other STM32 M4/M3/M0 I have no problem using the same code.

Using the STM32F030RC, the program that originally ran at 0x800000 was moved to 0x8020000. After the move, SysTick_Handler() is no longer executed, causing HAL_Delay() to fail. Has anyone encountered this issue before?

Hi,I'm working on a STM32G030C8T6 based personal project and recently done a revision 2 to fix some annoyances and add some status LEDs. Programming and debugging is done via a STLink V3 and the SWD. I've encountered twice the same strange behaviour, with the second time replicating the first step-by-step:Board is all wired up, I open STM32CubeIDE and launch debugging. Debugger connects without problem to the board and upload the firmware to it. Just to see if everything is working properly I step through the code.HAL_Init() executes without problems, SystemClock_Config() (configured with CubeMX and known to work as intended in the previous hardware) somehow jumps to 0x1FFFxxxx. I find it strange and I do a terminate and relaunch.In the second attempt SystemClock_Config() executes normally but it doesn't go much further: this time it's a memset() that makes the code jump to 0x1FFFxxxx.I decide to power cycle the board. Hi,I have been reading a few app notes but still a bit confused about some things...A custom board I am working with has an STM32U5G9VJT6Q MCU driving a DSI touch display. The PCB has QSPI and SDMMC but it does not have SDRAM.In the application, the graphics to be displayed are only simple graphics and very slow graphic animation (think 2 frames GIF), no photos and no videos.A few clarifications if someone could please explain:1. What implications and/or restrictions are present because of the lack of SDRAM?2. Can the SDMMC or the QSPI act as the frame buffer given there is no SDRAM on the PCB)?3. if yes, which one would be preferred the preferred choice?4. Considering that it is only simple graphics/slow-graphic-animation, can the images be fetched directly from the SDMMC or the QSPI through the DMA? Thank you :)

Greetings,                 STMCubeIDE         STM32F407G-DISC1       I am tryiny to read a stable analog signal from LM35 output pin.However, I usually read zeros.The rest of the data also make no sense.Because the data range between each other is very big.It was working very  well before generating code by using .ioc extension file.Then something happened I think. I can easily read data using  a potetiometer.It works fine.When I replace it with LM35, it does not work properly as I mentioned in the above. I tested  LM35, the component is undamaged. I am trying to send and receive data from my STM32 board to the included WIFI module. However, the WIFI module doesn't seem to be responding. Instead, the only output I get are dots. hi,I was trying to open Jpeg files from SD card and show them on LCD. LCD works, SDMMC works, I open the File System, I can read if its FAT32, I can read free space etc. But When I want to open a file or create a file on system it fails.* I always get  FR_NO_FILE when I want to read a file.* There is no error when I want to create a file and write something in it. Hi,I have been making a lot of calls into null pointers and am quite surprised at the results. I am expecting hard failures when I make this mistake but instead it seems that things just keep going and it takes a long time to realize I failed to initialize a pointer.e.g.LL_UCPD_RxEnable(Ports[PortNum].husbpd);I have made this call which resolves to#define SET_BIT(REG, BIT) ((REG) |= (BIT)) __STATIC_INLINE void LL_UCPD_RxEnable(UCPD_TypeDef *UCPDx) { SET_BIT(UCPDx->CR, UCPD_CR_PHYRXEN); }I have made this with the value husbpd uninitialized. But nothing negative happens other than the operation doesn't complete. No crash or other error.Is there anything I can do or enable that will produce a harder fault when I make this mistake?

I have the main MCU serving as the master in the spi communication whose primary job is to transmit data over SPI lines to two slaves. If I choose hardware NSS signal configuration the IOC file assigns a default pin as the NSS signal for that SPIx peripheral. I have a basic doubt as to whether it is better for me to do Software or Hardware NSS signal? If I choose hardware NSS signal the default pin can serve as CS for just one slave, how can I have multiple CS working with SPI bus, should I just GPIOs as the NSS signal lines? Or do it with Software NSS signals if so how is it done? I have not yet worked with SPI on STM32, only with Arduino so have no idea what is happening? The manual is a bit intimidating rn.

Especially, I want to use the external ADC ADS8353IRTER.To get the data, it requires 48 CLK at 20MHz on SPI.We face lots of issues with the SPI linked with DMA (trigged by CC of timer).How to use SPI periph with 48CLK ?Up to now we need to send 3 times the stream of DMA (linked to SPI), the SPI LTSIZE configured at 3 to get the consecutive 48CLK and the SS well used of the SPI periph.This is the first data frame, for the second one, we must Reset EOT, Set TXTFC & CSTART. To have the system automatic, we reconfigure these by 2 DMA streams. Hi, I am currently developing a battery management system (BMS) utilizing the STM32L476RG microcontroller (MCU) and the ADBMS6830 as the analog front end (AFE). Communication between the MCU and AFE is established via SPI. Since the AFE supports isoSPI, we are employing the LTC6820 transceiver. During testing, I transmitted the following data: TxData[6] = {0x80, 0x00, 0x00, 0xFF, 0x03, 0x00}, but the received data was RxData[6] = {0xFF, 0xFF, 0xFF, 0xFF, 0xFF, 0xFF}. Is my SPI configuration is correct or not, did I need to do anything more. What is the reference voltage did ST set in STM743 micro controller for temperature sensor for acquiring the Calibrated value TSCAL2 & TSCAL1 for 130*C and 30*C. Since during factory set How do ST Know What external voltage is going to come from design side ? For Example If you set reference voltage 1.2V for 130*c then How do i scale it that if i give 2.5V external voltage for Vref ? Then calibrated value i am getting from internal is different from what i am expecting so it will throw error in calculation ? HiI'm trying to connect an SD card to my Nucleo U5A5ZJ-Q board using SDMMC peripheral and use it with FatFS library. When I use 1GB card and 4 bit mode, everything works fine. By "works fine" I mean that:1. it passes this FatFS test: http://elm-chan.org/fsw/ff/res/app4.c2. it is able to create a working text file.But there are 2 problems:1. 1 bit SDMMC mode doesn't work. When I'm trying to use it, the FatFS test fails at an SD card write. After clicking around in STM32CubeIDE debugger I found that there is a CRC error in SD callback being set as status, which then leads to a timeout and test fail. This problem isn't critical, because 4 bit mode seems to work, but it worries me a bit.2. 16GB and 32GB cards don't work. They get a bit further (to reading), but fail in a simmilar way (SD callback -> CRC error -> timeout -> test fail). I

Dear all,in a project which was assigned to me with the NUCLEO-H723ZG, I have multiple digital outputs, like PG12, PE9, PE11, PE14, PE13, PG14 et.c. mostly originating from the CN10 ZIO connector, where the pin names are intuitive, e.g. D7, D6, D5, et.c..However one of the digital outputs, has the description PF10/ PB8 and it originates from the CN9 ZIO connector, with the pin name A5. It puzzles me that a digital port is connected to a pin name called A5, which also has the signal name "ADC".The attached image from the UM2407 User Manual illustrates that.Many thanks for your supportKind regards

Dear All,I would like to interface an ADC (ADS131M08) with a STM32F407. The ADC datasheet mentions that for better performance, the ADC clock should be synchronized with the SPI clock. Is there any way to achieve such synchronization with the STM? I was thinking about a timer that can give the clock to the ADC and get this timer sync with the SPI, but I don't really see if it's possible and how to implement it.Thanks for your helpBest regards
