I read in the doc for the G431:"The Flash main memory programming sequence in standard mode is as follows:1. Perform a mass erase. If not, PGSERR is set."So i can not do a single page erase??

Hi,My NUCLEO-H563ZI application uses SPI with DMA. The SPI transactions are not working at clock/2 clock/4 and clock/8 rates, clock being 250 Mhz. Is there any clock frequency restriction when SPI is used with DMA? 

Folks,I've used SPI many times on STM32F1, F0, F4 devices, but am have a mare with a H563. I have two 74HC165s reading sixteen switches.For hours and hours I couldn't get any clock out when I executed:SPI2->TXDR = 0;Eventually I tried setting the CSTART bit in the CR1 register (I really can't get my head round what the manual is trying to say for this bit, it's incredibly poorly written) and that then sprung the clock in to life for a burst of clock activity when I wrote 0 to the transmit register.However, no matter what value is in DSIZE in the CFG1 register I always get 32 bit clocks sent out.I am getting a sixteen bit value in the RX register, not a thirty-two-bit value though.So, for example, if I set the switch that corresponds to the fourth data bit in the stream, I get the thirty-two clocks, but I get a value of 0x1000 in the RX register of the SPI peripheral. Hi There - I'm very new to electronic design and need help making a key design decision. Specifically I want to know that the performance will not be a problem when writing to external memory from a stm32 over Quad Spi. I don't want to end up making a school boy error whereby the memory bus or memory chip cannot accomodate the rate at which I want to write data - or maybe there is another practical reason I am unaware of.Quite simply I want to poll a magnetic position encoder and an accellerometer at circa 200Hz over the regular spi bus and then write their values to the flash memory on the Quad spi bus for analysis later. This is essentially the data logger part of the application. Probably worth mentioning that we are doing some other data analysis on the data as the sensors are polled so some overhead there for the M4 processor - but an existing application uses an M0 processor at 16Mhz and does this analysis fine so we reckon that the M4 at 64Mhz should easily c

Hello community, I have this difficult task of powering an STM32G0B1 from a pin that was really not tasked for that (because the connector I have to plug onto provides no supply pin). In short, I can't draw more than 500µA current at any time or I risk lowering the voltage too much for MCU.I have tried so far to reduce clock and use low power run mode. I get a power consumption around 300µA, which is good enough for me. The problem is that the current drawn at boot before entering low power mode is around 1mA for about 30ms, as you can see on oscilloscope below (1mV=1µA)

Hi, I have problem. I have idea: my STM32H745 must read GPIO state as quickly as possible. FCPU = ~400MHzI wrote the program in assembler for M7LED_ON()ldr r2, [r3, #IDR]ldr r2, [r3, #IDR]... ~650xLED_OFF()...only read, IDR, no write (no record yet)And when I measure with an oscilloscope the led output is on for 25us -> one LDR 15 cycles clock CPU. When I read from RAM it takes about 12us, but GPIO 25us. This is too slow for me. I tried all the tricks and combinations of LDR; STR ... LDR LDR STR STR ... LDR AND LDR STR AND ... Minimum is 25us. LDR gpio and STR ram are without comment at all. Some astronomical values ​​come out that can be obtained from AVR or DSPIC. I tried FMC to read and it was even worse. What is the fastest way to read the state of a ~40MHz pin?

Hello, I am trying to set up this is STM to connect it to another microcontroller via LPUART. To my understanding USART1 is unusable since it is connected to J-Link. I have attempted with LPUART setting up both PA3 and PA2 pins as the respective TX and RX. I have been trying to print out "hello world" on tera term and on the STM32IDE console with no luck. Is it even possible to use LPUART for this?

Hello st community,I'm trying to set up a bleutooth communication between my phone and my stm32 with the Adafruit module in SPI communication, but I'm having a problem.When I use my arduino and the demo code it works perfectly but when I connect to my stm32 and do my code based on the demo code I have a problem during the factory reset, the module shuts down and I can't see the ble module on my phone.I have checked my wires 3 times and also the power supply provided by the nucleo I have the 3.3VI use doclight to monitor uart communication for debugging

Hello,when I change configuraion of my procejt STM32F103 in CubeMX  e.g.PIN&Configuration / SYS / Debug    item is changed  from "4 pins" to "5 pins" and I push "GENERATE buton" the code inside While cycle in main.c function in CubeIDE is changed at the same time. It is terrible. I thought that If I insert my user code inside the /* USER CODE END WHILE */  clause all such code is protected against changing when configuraion of my project is done in CubeMX. But it is NOT true. Hello,We have run into a weird behaviour with the STM32G070KB. With PA8 defined as an input with internal pullup and PA9 as output push-pull. When PA9 is at low level and PA8 unconnected, PA8 is at VCC (3.3V) as expected.When PA9 is at high level, PA8 drops to 0.29V. Hello,observed that both the CM4 and CM7 cores are resetting (NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q), whereas it is expected that only the CM4 core should reset due to the Window Watchdog (WWDG2). For verification UART is configured in cm7 printing counter value. observe that after some value the counter is rested to 0, that means both cm4 and cm7 is resting, using stm32cubeide for code flash.Best Regards   

We're looking to replace our F105 processors in the next generation of a an automotive application.We want more flash,2 I2c ports2 SPI ports3 UARTspreferably 4 CAN ports, but atleast 3, 2 of the CAN ports should support CAN-FDand more hardware security features than F105 provides (we're in the early stages of defining what we need. In particular understanding what TrustZone provides compared to what you can get from STM32F423).Low power consumption in stop mode is important as well.At a first glance F423 looks like a good candidate since it's mostly sw/pin compatible and has a subset of security features. But at this point I'm not sure whether it's enough to fulfil our security needs. And not having CAN FD support might be a blocker.Do you have any suggestions on other lines of processors that could fulfill the role the F105 has filled for us?

Hi,I am trying to use the Clock and weather application code that has some driver for wifi to test the module but it seems the net_conf_es_wifi_spi.c from the driver is trying to init SPI4 instead of SPI2 as per the schematics on st.com website. why is there a difference in SPI and other GPIO pins? what is the correct pins that needs to be initialised?

Hello !I'm using STM32U5A5 on my custom board.i would like to configure a very big buffer to store lots of ADC samples (60sec circular audio buffer)i check the GPDMA is limited to 64kBI tryed a small test using the linked list to do a small test using 2 nodes related to 2 64kB chunk of data. It seems it works fine, but is there a way to know at the half or complete callback which buffer is full ?or which list node is related ? thank for help 

I have a Nucleo-H7S3L8 board that I have been using for development, but it is no longer able to connect to download binaries. I had previously been able to connect, but now when I try to run code using STM32CubeIDE, the ST-LINK GDB server fails with the message:Target no device foundError in initializing ST-LINK device.Reason: No device found on target. I also tried connecting with the STM32CubeProgrammer and I get a window that pops up with "Error: No STM32 target found! If your product embeds Debug Authentication, please perform a discovery using Debug Authentication".In the Debug configuration, the type is "Connect under reset". I've tried different cables and different computers. I don't have another Nucleo board, but I've confirmed that I can connect and load code into a board with an STM32F411. What else can I tr

Hello,I am implementing DMA transfers to USART1 peripheral configured as asynchronous UART. I have debugged the whole code to send data from stm32h750b-dk between the two fdcan terminals fdcan1 and fdcan2 the data is appearing on live expressions of txdata1 but in rxdata only 1 bit is being transferred can somebody mention what the problem could be all my parameters are adjusted accurately  Txdata[2]={7,8}; this is the output which is shown can somebody help me out on wtt could be done
