Hi!I'm working on a product that requires a very fast response time for capacitive touch sensing (in the order of <5ms). I'm currently looking into the TSC module in some STM32 controllers. However, I can't seem to find any information regarding the response time of these sensors. I understand the response time is affected by many factors, but I would like to get an idea of what is possible in terms of how fast I can go.

I am working on a project where the end goal is that TIM8 is used to capture an incoming PWM signal on PC6.  I want TIM2 to trigger from TIM8 and generate a single pulse on PB11. I have TIM8 working, capturing both rising and falling edges properly.  However, after many attempts, I am not getting anything on TIM2. I decided to check the output itself, and PB11 can be set high or low just fine, set as open drain.  This rules out any hardware/PCB issues with the pin.  Next I tried running a continuous PWM on TIM2 and the pin stays high.So I stepped through the debugger, and I noticed that TIM2 registers aren't getting set.  I tried manually setting them in the debugger and they immediately revert back to 0.//This code worksTIM_HandleTypeDef HeaterTimer;HeaterTimer.Instance = TIM4;HeaterTimer.Init.Period = 0xFFFF;HeaterTimer.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNT

I doing bare metal coding for STM32L496ZGT6. Now in SPI, extra bytes are sent. There are only 4 Registers in SPI but unable to resolve the issue. Board: STM32 Nucleo-F411REI am trying to get audio from I2S MEMS microphone (SPH0645). Hello ST Team,I am working on a project in which I want to interface NucleoF446RE board with 2.4inch LCD Display Module,240x320 Resolution, SPI Interface. I have already implemented code for SPI interface and using readymade ILI9341 library I have tested the the LCD. However i want to use STemWin library for GUI. My query is is it possible and if yes  how I can use it? Is there any example available?  I am not able find any example with SPI interface and STemWin. Any help is appreciated. Thanks  

Hi !I got some samples of G473CBTx from ST through one of the official distributor, which were populated on prototype boards. I am trying to flash them, but unfortunately stumbled upon the "no STM32 Target found" error. I tried the following. 1. Use a different ST-Link programmer / Nucleo board from F3/G0 family2. Double check the pinout with CubeMX file (I use CubeMX to generate the initial pinout assignment for ease of layout designing).3. Check the voltage levels across the µC pins (VDD, VSS, SWDIO and SWCLK).4. Use the NRST functionality along with ST-Link along with SWDIO and SWCLK.5. Update the ST-Link driver of the Nucleo board / ST-Link programmer.6. Try the new ST-Link software (STSW-LINK009) My attempts are unsuccessful until now. It must be noted that the G431CBTx were already populated on similar prototype boards and are working properly as expected. "In the STM32U5, the LPTimer is used to periodically wake up from Stop 2 mode to sample ADC data. After the ADC samples the data via DMA and generates an interrupt, the system re-enters Stop 2 mode. When using a debugger, the sampled data is normal. However, when the device is running, the sampled data is not correct.

Hi every body,I'm using STM32U031 in my project.Since the project is a low power consumption application, so I set MCU running in shutdown mode.The MCU will exit shutdown mode by rising edge of wake-up pin.I ran into an issue with the MCU exiting shutdown mode:The MCU can exit from shutdown mode to running mode only when the width of rising edge of wakeup pin is greater than 70ms. This is unacceptable.Please help me to solve this problem, Thanks.

Hi,why does the stm32l496 waking up from shutdown mode using syswkup2 pin and pullup. When I am using an external pullup resistor, the cpu stays in shutdown mode until I set a low signal on syswkup2 pin.best regardsJosef

I have an STM32H7A3VI that I am using to drive a display.  The display is 24-bit RGB 1024x600 px:  https://download.riverdi.com/RVT70HSTFWN00/DS_RVT70HSTFWN00_Rev.1.2.pdf.  I'm not using TouchGFX or anything fancy, I just want a basic working example of a solid color on the screen.  So far all I've been able to get is a black screen.  I can measure the signals going into the display and everything - HSYNC, VSYNC, Clock, DE and the data bits - all seem normal, but nothing appears on the screen.  I've tested with two displays and get the result, so it's not a problem with the display.  I am wondering if I am missing any sort of configuration that would make all of the pixels go black. Relevant configuration code: LTDC_LayerCfgTypeDef pL

SysTick_Handler() function isn't called in a project based upon the STM32G070CB mcu (48 terminals). Hello I'm working with a nucleo u575zi-q board where i've to set many GPIO pins in a synchronos way using GPDMA. I've successfully used the DAC and DMA example in the IDE, but Igot stacked with the GPIO output. I followed the case posted here, triyed with different timers, etc, but couldn't get it on work.

Hello Everyone I am using FATFS on STM32F401RE, with the code generated by CubeMX, which is version 6.12.0. When I perform the mount operation, the return value is FR_NOT_READY. However, initializing the SD card through the HAL library and reading SD card information using the HAL library are both normal operations. Therefore, the SD card is functioning correctly, and the circuitry between the SD card and STM32F401RE is also normal. Using STM32CubeMX (v6.12.1) with USB_OTG_HS enabled (as host) on an STM32F4.On our device, we have the only OTG_HS_VBUS pin connected to the USB VBUS, and it is working correctly as a USB host. I was investigating if I can repurpose this pin (I guess probably not)... which led me to investigating the options in CubeMX.The anomaly: changing whether the "Activate_VBUS" option is checked in CubeMX makes no difference in the generated firmware. (It only changes one line in the .ioc file.) And I can't find anything in the firmware that indicates the pin is being used.
