Hello,I need to use a nRST pin as MCO in my aplication and programm my STM with STlink v3-set. I set up a MCO to output 8MHz signal and set nRST pin to GPIO with code you can see bellow. Now I have a problem with booting - I cannot connect to STM, CubeProgrammer have a error: 10:00:55 : Error: Data read failedCan you please help me, how to fix that?  We purchased 403pcs MCUs (STM32F401VBH3) with date code 314 from Mouser website, as shown in the picture below, they have been assembled on the board, When preparing to program them with ST-LINK utility and the programmer (ST-LINK/V2), I found that most of the MCUs could not be connected, and the utility interface said "Cannot connect Target", as shown below.​

I am using the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 and trying to code LPTIM with interrupts and no HAL. The code seems to be getting stuck in the Infinite_Loop section in the startup.s file. The comments around this loop say that an unexpected interrupt was triggered. If I remove the NVIC functions in lptim_init(), the controller does not get stuck anymore. I have tried:-setting the IER register to 127 (all interrupt sources enabled) with a breakpoint on the lptimer IRQ handler. Hi,I have a question regarding the implementation of the Qt framework for the STM32H747I-DISCO board. While browsing the Qt website, I noticed an example for the similar STM32H750B-DK board, but I couldn’t find any information specific to the DISCO model. So my question is: will the Qt implementation for the 750B board be compatible with the 747 board? Will it be possible to run the sample applications on both boards without any modifications?I have another question. From what I understand, it is necessary to use a bootloader (due to the small flash memory). Is it possible to access the bootloader code through STM32Cube/gitrepo? And will it be available for the 747 board? (I saw that a HEX file is uploaded on the website.)Thank you in advance for your response.Rafał

Hello, I am trying to receive and transmit byte-to-byte on a STM32F429 Discovery, I will be using a STM32U5 Discovery soon. I used UART IT method but maybe there is a better solution...Objective & Issue:I want to continuously receive and send byte-to-byte, goal is to apply a function to each byte before transmitting it. Right now I can receive and transmit but I lose some characters in the process.For example if I send "Passphrase" to Uart using a python script, my implementation will transmit something like "PasPhase". It gets worst if I add more code to do something to the byte for instance...How can I fix this ? This is not the case if I use a bigger buffer but I want to make sure I receive a byte, treat it and send it through UART ASAP, maybe there is a way to receive next byte at the same time I am treating the current byte ? 

Hi,is there anyway to insert a delay between the start generation address byte transmission and the first data byte reception from the slave device? I have tried reading 0 bytes from the slave to prevent the reading of the first byte but that sets the Transmission Complete bit which can only be cleared by another Start condition, which puts me back on square one.BRGoran

Hi there,There is a config option named "OB_STOP_RST" that exists in Option Bytes' USERconfig, I tested it with STOP mode, and it works well.But I can't understand when we should use it. After clearing this bit to OB_STOP_RST, the MCU will reset right away and enter run mode when it enters stop mode, why don't we just reset the MCU, it's easier and faster.Same as the OB_STDBY_RST config.

Hello,I am trying to configure STM32F407VGT6 discovery to work with 800x480 LCD with SSD1963 onboard. In the end i would like to use TouchGFX to run the GUI.I was testing several configurations to display anything manually first. It looks like the command buffer works fine (in the end of Init function driver reacts on "LCD on" command), but nothing happens when I send anything to data buffer and pixels remains with random color values. Hi, I'm using a STM32H757XIH6 with SMPS. Everything (firmware & hardware) are working fine but after a switch off/on of the power supply, I could not connect to the microcontroler via SWD. First I thought it was the Power configuration that had been corrupted. So I tried to connect in bootloader mode (BOOT0 pin at VDD) , but it doesn't work. I couldn't not connect. You could find in attachment the power supply schematic. After some investigations, I feel that the SMPS was broken (400mV on Vcap) and the Vcore wasn't supply anymore. So I replaced the SMPS by an external LDO (1.2V). I succeed to connect to the microcontroler.What I undertsand from the reference manual (chapter 7.4.1 - page 276) is that the microcontroler will stay in reset mode while the Vcore is not correct. I assume we stay in this state because Vcore was about 400mV. It's why, we could not connect anymore to the microcontroler.=> the SMSP seems br

I am trying to use STM32L431RCT6 with STM32CubeIDE and STM32Cube_FW_L4_V1.18.1 for a low power mode application. I tried Sleep mode, Stop mode and they both work OK. But the standby mode does not working. The MCU wakes up instantly after entering standby mode. CubeMX setup is as below, using SYS_WKUP2 as wakeup pin. My code for standby mode. Hello, I am on a MacBook Pro M2 running Parallels Windows 11. I have downloaded the STSW-LINK009 zip file. Because of my machine, I need to run the dpinst_amd64.exe file. It opens and runs perfectly fine but I am unable to install the drivers as it says "Install Failed" (Provided a screenshot below) I have disabled the secure boot on Windows 11 to see if it helped, but it did not. I'm wondering if it's because these drivers are not compatible with my Mac M2, or if I need to take another route.Any help will be amazing. Thank you

Using the STM32 CLI on Windows:STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe c port=swd reset=HWrst -e all -d my_filename.hex -v -s -g This just prints: If I remove the -d option, it performs the erase, so I know it can talk to the chip.  I have tried the verbosity options, they do not print any additional output.All features work fine on Linux, using the same hardware.  It looks like a bug with the Windows build of the CLI.  

hey thereI have a customized board with STM32F030K6T6 on it and a 11.0592MHz crystal for HSE. the thing is my code does not run through and when I try to debug it, I can see it sticks in SystemClock_Config(), more specifically, in HAL_RCC_OscConfig() and when I trace it even more I get to __HAL_RCC_HSE_CONFIG() which seems like is responsible for bit setting and stuff... any ways I have no Idea why this happens and though I think crystal is just fine(the reason is that I have tested my code in other boards and it was OK! therefore I dont think the problem is my code, it should be hardware somehow but I dont know what it could be?) HELP!

Can a selected channel in each 16-bit SAR ADC module (Totally 3 selected channel in the 3 modules) be sampled simultaneously under the same clock rate?3. Hi,I configured the STM32U5G9VJT6Q to use QSPI to interface to a NOR FLASH ( MT25QL128ABA1EW9-0SIT ).Because of other connectivity, the only option for the data lines (Data [3..0] as highlighted in yellow in the attached screenshot) is "Port 2 IO [7..4]". All other options in the drop-down menu next to "Data [3..0]" are either red or disabled.I need to be absolutely sure of the connectivity and that it will work (preferably using the HAL drivers).Does that configuration work?With reference to the pins table in the attached screenshot, do I need to connect the data lines as follows: - PH9 (P2_IO4) connected to QSPI flash memory Data 0- PH10 (P2_IO5) connected to QSPI flash memory Data 1- PH11 (P2_IO6) connected to QSPI flash memory Data 2- PH12 (P2_IO7) connected to QSPI flash memory Data 3 or in some other ways?Thank you 

Hi,on the STM32U5G9VJT6Q, according to the documentation and also to the Pin export from CubeMX including the Alt-Functions, PH15 should be able to be set to TIM8_CH3N.But in CubeMX (see screenshot below) when I select Channel 3 PWM output it sets it to PB1 (instead of PH15).How do I set TIM8_CH3N onto PH15 (i.e. pin 62 in part number STM32U5G9VJT6Q)?Especially using the pane on the left (instead of trying to select the pin int he micro's IC view).Thank you   

Hi,on the STM32U5G9VJT6Q, when I click on many pins such as PD5 (screenshot below) it shows GPIO_Analog but there does not seem to be any ADC channels (or other analog functionalities) connected to it.What does setting it to GPIO_Analog do?Can I still assign somehow a ADC to PD5? My requirement is as follows.When I power ON the STM32L4 series MCU, a string must be sent on to the UART terminal like "Power is ON". Now abruptly I will power OFF. Now at this instance, another string must be sent to UART terminal which is "Power is OFF". How to do this? Kindly let me know the solution if anyone has come across such a situation.Thank you!
