Hello.Is there an example F/W for STEVAL-ESC001V1 or X-NUCLEO-IHM08M1 that is SPL compatible?I need to continue to use the Standard Peripheral Library (SPL) to utilize the existing code.If there is a way to create or convert the project by X-CUBE-MCSDK to SPL compatible, that would be the best.Thank you!

Hello,Im developing an program that controls an ST-Link to flash an STM32F1. The program needs to be able to remove RDP on the MCU its trying to flash.Im doing the following steps:1) Unlocking Flash - confirmed working (registers confirm)2) Unlocking option bytes - confirmed working (registers confirm)3) Erasing Option Bytes - confirmed Working (If I have no RDP on, and erase, RDP gets set, as 0xFF = RDP on)4) Writing new Option Bytes, 16 Bit Operation. Here it fails. Any Ideas? Ive attached two Logic Analyser captures (Saleae Logic 2 Software), one from slightly modified OpenOCD which unlocks successfully, and my implementation, which doesnt work. My implementation:

Hi All,I'm trying to setup 2 ADCs in continous mode but I'm failing miserably. In CubeMX I set the first ADC in continuous mode, triggered by software, then HAL_ADC_Start_IT(&hadc1); and it works as expected (I have a callback to read the value).Then, I go to the second ADC, setup the samme manner as the first one, but it does not work, only the first interrupt is triggered. HAL_ADC_Start_IT(&hadc1); //only this Interrupt works HAL_ADC_Start_IT(&hadc2);If I change the order of the calls (hadc2 first) the first one called works and the second is never triggered.Is there any special caveat to activate both ADCs? I'm starting to consider the possibility of this board uses a bad clone.

Posted on August 28, 2013 at 12:45Hi all!Im currently working with a project that should read data from sensors using the I2C bus.When i am using a debugger to start the program it runs at it should. Reading sensor values and putting out the data on a CAN-bus. When i remove the debugger the MCU still behaves like it should.BUT, when i try to start the MCU after a reset (just pulling the plug) the MCU stops reading data from the sensors. Is there any background processes that the debugger prevents from running or runs that can make this error occure?Im using a stm32f107 and reading sensor data from an MPU-6050 and a HMC5883LKindest regardsJoel

Hi,I am Faruk.What i am trying to do is, sending data that i collacted from ADC Ports to Nextion HMI Display. Also at the same time i am getting signals from buttons on the Nextion HMI Display. I use UART pins of Nextion HMI Display. 5V RX TX GND.If i dont transmit any data to HMI Display i can get signals from buttons on HMI Display. One of the buttons start saving data to SD Card. The other ones increase and decrease the output signal that goes out from DAC. When i use receive and transmit at the same time. Only transmit section works. I cannot get signal from buttons on HMI Display. I am uploading the code here. I just couldnt figure it out why it doesent work correctly. I need some help about this situation. Hi,I am using an STM32F407 Evaluation Board in my project, along with a Nextion HMI Display that communicates with the MCU over UART.In this project, I send data every 1 second using a TIM interrupt with UART Polling Mode, and I receive data from the Nextion HMI using UART in interrupt mode (UART IT).The issue arises when both transmit (TX) and receive (RX) operations happen simultaneously. The reception completes successfully, but the transmitted data from the Nextion HMI behaves incorrectly. However, if I perform only the receive or only the transmit operation, everything works fine.I suspect that the problem occurs because the transmit and receive operations are colliding or overlapping.I am attaching screenshots that show how the system should work and the problems I am encountering.Could you help me identify where I might be making a mistake?I am also struggling to find a way to transmit data using UART in interrupt mode (UA

 Hello everyone,I am working with an STM32H743VIT6V processor and attempting to erase sector 7 of the flash memory using the following parameters: FLASH_EraseInitTypeDef EraseParams; EraseParams.TypeErase = FLASH_TYPEERASE_SECTORS; EraseParams.Banks = FLASH_BANK_1; EraseParams.Sector = FLASH_SECTOR_7; EraseParams.NbSectors = 1; EraseParams.VoltageRange = FLASH_VOLTAGE_RANGE_3; I have tested and confirmed that these parameters work properly on other processors with the same part number. However, on a new processor I received with the same part number, I noticed that calling the EraseSector function causes a reset. After investigating the issue, I found that on this problematic processor, the VoltageRange parameter only works with the value FLASH_VOLTAGE_RANGE_4. Other values cause the reset. Hello Everyone,I'm currently working on a project using the STM32L4 micro controller, where I'm developing a multi-level menu system displayed on a Segment LCD. I'm using a magnetic switch connected to a GPIO pin, which is configured to trigger interrupts on both rising and falling edges.What i am trying to do is,Main Menu Switching: When the magnetic switch is held for more than 2 seconds, the system should cycle through the main menu options.Sub menu Navigation: When the magnetic switch is held for 1 second or less, it should allow navigation within the sub menus of the current main menu.If the switch is held for a duration between 1 to 2 seconds, no action is taken.Implementation: To achieve this, I use the HAL_GetTick() function to measure the duration for which the magnet is near the switch. I'm trying to program an STM32U5 microcontroller with Open On-Chip Debugger 0.12.0+dev-00597-ga5a21219f (2024-06-03-11:08), but the process is terminated abruptly. The problem seems to occur without a clear error message.I am using a stlink to flash the script, and it works fine with the STM32CubeProgrammer and STM32_Programmer_CLI, in the cfg file I added:  source [find interface/stlink.cfg] transport select hla_swd  The debug output proceeds normally until the process is terminated with:  [1] 5501 killed /opt/homebrew/bin/openocd -d -s /opt/homebrew/share/openocd/scripts -f -c -    I have attached the full log (very long). Hi!I'm looking for a uC that:It is Cortex-M0 or M0+,It isn't a Low Power device (L series) (no need to include Shottky diodes, and my app will be power hungry)It has internal EEPROM,32 <= LQFP <= 64,It has 20+ free pins,and the most important thing: it must have a VBat pin. A CR2032 coin cell will keep the time and calendar. You might wonder why I didn't use the STM32 mcu product selector chip selector. Of course I did; however, as far as I saw, a column that indicates whether the part has exposed the VBat pin or not doesn't exist. There are myriad of parts to choose from, but it's imposible to review each one. Even worst (or better?), parts with less than 36 pins doesn't exposed the VBat pin.

Hi there, I am trying to implement 3 CDC interfaces over USB. I'm using the USB stack generated by CubeMX, I enabled composite devices and call 3 times "USBD_RegisterClassComposite" in my "MX_USB_Device_Init".I am having troubles with endpoint numbering as if I choose the simple sequence:CDC1: 0x81/0x01 + CMD1: 0x82CDC2: 0x83/0x03 + CMD2: 0x84CDC3: 0x85/0x05 + CMD3: 0x86Then CDC 1 and 3 work as expected but I get problems on CDC 2. Testing a bunch of numbers for the endpoints there seams to be a lot of limitations but one sequence that works for my applications is:CDC1: 0x81/0x01 + CMD1: 0x82CDC2: 0x87/0x07 + CMD2: 0x84CDC3: 0x85/0x05 + CMD3: 0x86For some reason, this configuration works. This fixes my problem but I would like to know why. Many combo of endpoints do not work but the number 3 seams to be especially cursed in my tests. Is there a reason for that? I cannot find anything in the doc tha

I am using the STM32H743VIT6 LQFP100. I am integrating it into a custom board and looking for the best (easiest, cheapest, fastest) way to program it. This will be in a setting where we would like to just plug in a programmer and hit program; however, we would still like the ability to debug in CubeIDE, if issues do arise. It would be ideal to not have to have an additional power source. I have been interested in the STLINK-V3MINIE. Does this require the MCU to be powered externally, and can we interface to it with CubeIDE? To interface with an STLink device without needing external power outside the STLink probe what pins will i need brought out from the MCU? Thank you

Hello, I am a developer and I am using the L431RC chip on a custom board. I am using CAN BUS to communicate with the system, and during normal operation (via firmware), there are no communication issues,in fact, everything works quite well. However, I encountered a major issue when trying to access the bootloader via CAN BUS. Essentially, I have run countless tests, but I never receive any response from the bootloader, and I don’t know why. I should mention that I have followed the AN2606 and AN3154 documents to interface correctly, I am using the correct pins (PB8 and PB9), a 16MHz HSE, and TIM16 active as described in the files. To enter the bootloader, I use two external buttons, Reset and Boot. The thing is, I tried accessing the bootloader via UART, and everything works, so the boot circuitry is functioning.
