Hello, I am trying to vary the PWM frequency of Timer 2 in between 20Khz to 200 Khz in stm32G0C1RET6 Board.1. Whenever I change the Frequency from 200 Khz to 20 Khz, it works. but then I change it again to 200Khz it just doesn't work. my PWM line goes low.2. but, this issue does not occur with Timer 1 and Timer 3, which I am using to generate other PWM pulses with same configurations as Timer 2.3. This issue occurs only in changing the Frequency using the ARR value, there is no issue in changing the Duty-cycle using the CCR value.4. this issue is only occurred in Timer 2, others are working fine.5. The above one is example of what I am actually need, but I have tried varying the frequency from 1khz to 2khz and vice versa, and it still has the same issue.Does anyone has any idea what wrong I am doing ?? this is a snap of the code, I am working on.while (1)

For the life of me I cannot get the I2C pins on my microcontroller to output anything.I am using I2C1 on pins PB6 (SCL) and PB9 (SDA) on the STM32F746VGT microcontroller. The pins are hooked up to a TXS0108E level shifter that has built-in pull up resistors. I have a very simple CubeMX project that initializes I2C1 to Standard Mode and attempts to transmit some data on it every second.All I want to see are some signals on the SDA/SCL lines but I get nothing. I can change the I2C pins to open drain GPIO pins and toggle those and see it on the scope, but when I switch back to I2C I see nothing again.I see the lines stuck either low or high depending on which one I'm probing at the moment. Hi folks,   I need to use setup system where is 10BASE-T1S communication. And we have stm32H7 controller, so questions is which one would better use LAN8651 (MAC+PHY) chip and do controlling of chip via SPI or chose LAN8670 (PHY) and do chip controlling via RMII. If I have understand right there is no ready drivers for stm32 MCU so probably have to write own drivers from scratch. Do you know Is there some good codebase which can modify to fit to STM32 ?

I want to send data from my STM32 to another micro controller and I want to enable space parity, there is no setting to enable it, the only settings are none, odd and even. For space parity i want the parity bit to always be 0.  I am using 9 bit UART including parity bit. I have tried to maintain even parity meaning the data has even number of 1s so even parity is 0 always but that doesn't help. I am using Barry terminal to check the transmitted data in that when parity is set even or none then only data is received, with space parity settings its not received. Is there any way in which i can ensure that the parity bit is 0 always and I get the data with space parity settings?Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hello everyone,I am experiencing a fairly impactful problem with STOP3 mode in a FreeRTOS application that runs in a STM32U585VIT6Q.The system has this behavior: it wakes up, performs operations on SPI3, write some informations on internal FLASH, returns to STOP3 and reschedules the wakeup via RTC Alarm B in fairly narrow intervals (5 to 30 seconds).The problem I am experiencing happens infrequently and is not easily intercepted in debug. In any case, I was able to verify (through _get_psp() in HardFault_Handler) that each time the problem occurs, the program counter is worth 0 and the link register points to the SystemClockConfig() function located immediately after the input function in Stop3.I've read on your errata on STM32U585 and U575 some workaround which might be helpful in this case, such as disabling FLASH prefatch from stm32u5xx_hal_conf.h and disabling/enabling ICACHE just before/after entering/leaving STOP3 mode but it seems not be so go

I am just switching clock source to MCU in RCC_CR register by making HSEON bit of above register high and waiting till HSERDY but turnsup. But thing after HSERDY turns up when I read rcc_cr register both HSEON,HSION bit of RCC cr are at logic 1. Then how controller will read this means MCU will consider which one as source?.if my understanding is wrong,please provide code block to switch the clock source from HSI to HSE  

I'm trying to use the RAMECC monitoring subsystem on an STM32H743 but there's some behaviour I don't understand. I've read the reference manual (RM0433 rev 7) and application note AN5432, as well as some related forum posts here.If I set an interrupt enable bit in one of the RAMECC_MxCR registers then I get interrupts even if none of the interrupts are enabled in RAMECC_IER.So it seems like the interrupt enables in RAMECC_MxCR are independent of the per-monitor interrupt enables in RAMECC_IER.Is this the intended behaviour? It's unclear to me from the reference manual and AN5432.

Hello, I'm trying communication between stm32G0 as I2C slave and a rapsberry pi 5 as master.on pi side, the call is:  self.cpt = (self.cpt + 1) % 255 b = self.bus.read_i2c_block_data(42, self.cpt, 5); I've seen in several places on the web that there are issues with clock stretching with the pi (and some tests on my side seem to agree). So I'm using NOSTRETCH activated on the microncontroler side.For testing purpose I'm transmitting the array {0, 1, 2, 3, 4} on the microcontroler and I'm receiving [4, 0, 1, 2, 3] on the pi.Here's a screenshot. The green line toggles when I put a byte in tx register. 

OverviewAt my job, I was recently tasked with handling ECC errors in both RAM and flash memory. Additionally, I needed to test the error handling by injecting ECC errors. Figuring out how to do this was a nightmare. I looked over AN5342 countless times, but it was pretty vague. I finally figured out how to do it, and wanted to make this post to help anyone else in the same situation. This post will cover how I set up callbacks for both RAM and flash ECC, as well as how to trigger ECC errors. Hi,I am currently working on a Battery Management System (BMS) and an instrument cluster. I need your assistance with some issues I’m encountering while communicating between the BMS and a custom cluster board using CAN.We have two custom cluster boards equipped with STM32F098RCT6 MCUs and TJA1042 transceivers. I successfully established communication between the two boards and received the RxData in the debug terminal.When I attempt to establish communication between the cluster board and the BMS, no data is received in the debug terminal. Hello everyone. I am trying to write a bootloader with STM32H750IBT6 and mt25ql512. I am trying to adapt the ExtMem_Boot example of STM32H750-DK to STM32H750IBT6 by modifying it, but I can't succeed. It doesn't make sense why STM32H750IBT6 does not work. In the software; JumpToApplication = (pFunction) (*(__IO uint32_t*) (APPLICATION_ADDRESS + 4)); __set_MSP(*(__IO uint32_t*) APPLICATION_ADDRESS); JumpToApplication(); but JumpToApplication(); enters HardFault and I get SCB->CFSR = 1025. Hello, I am looking for a way to set up DMA to transfer from peripheral to circular buffer triggered from Timer I hoped I could set it up just like it is described here, just change the source:It samples data as expected but only once, it does not repeat when all 256 samples are taken. Do I understand that picture wrong or is it bad?  Usually, fresh (no firmware) STM32 MCUs will be in bootloader mode by default without needing to toggle the boot and reset pins. In such cases, we proceed directly with the firmware update procedure using the default slave address (0x5d).However, we have encountered an issue with some of the recent build STM32G0 series MCUs. These units are not in bootloader mode by default. When we attempt to do firmware update using the default slave address (0x5d), the MCU holds the I2C clock line and does not release the bus until we manually toggle the boot and reset pins to bring the MCU into bootloader mode.In the past, fresh MCUs would automatically be in bootloader mode, allowing us to proceed with the firmware update seamlessly. Dear Community,I am currently facing this issue where my STM32 Black Pill F411CE suddenly went into hard fault during runtime. The MCU was permanently gone and was not able to be re-programmed, and four others that I connected to the same hardware were also gone. After waiting some time, I replaced the Black Pill on my hardware with the same firmware. It was working; and it has been working fine for a couple of hours now. Note that the hardware is thoroughly tested and has been used for past few years, so I don't know if it could be a problem. Also, one of the MCUs that got damaged, is able to upload and even verify the code, but in the debug mode, it goes into Hard Fault Handler at start even before HAL Init. My understanding is that the flash got corrupted in all of them all at once. I have no RTOS in the firmware, and it uses STM32 HAL Libraries, and it is doubtful that there was any memory access issue, because the firmware is tested properly, and I really don't know how

Hi,We made a board with STM32G473CCU and we are using OPAMP2 as follower internally connected to ADC2 to read a thermistor currently at 720mV. We find that the value given by ADC reduces if we read continuously and only becomes stable if we wait at least 2000ms between reads. Code summary:ADC_Enable(&hadc2);HAL_Delay(2000); // needed or read value reducesHAL_ADCEx_Calibration_Start(&hadc2, ADC_SINGLE_ENDED);HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc2, 2000);debug1 = 3300 * HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc2) / 0xFFF;With 2000ms or more wait between reads we get ~1730mV, with more regular reads this drops and with continuous mode it drops to 60mVWe also found that 2450 - debug1 gives a reasonable reading with 2000ms delay in-between.Why does the voltage of ADC drop when reading regularly despite the opamp buffer?Thanks

hello everyone, I am having a problem with my stm32H745I board testing code for the RTC,RCC and power supply it seems that it stopped working. At first it wouldn't let me upload code until with stmprogrammer I connected by holding reset. Now I can upload code but it doesn't do anything, not even a simple led which is a test code of mine that was working. Hi,I have been banging my head for a while now and decided to reach out for help. I am trying to get the IWDG to freeze during Standby. Based off the reference manual I have toggled the IWDG_FZ_SDBY bit to 0. In STM32CubeProgrammer it is set to 0 so theoretically it should Stop the IWDG while in Standby. If I want to the timer to run for 10s, having the system clock running at 240Hz. What value should I choose for the prescaler and counter period settings. I want to know the process to calculate the above values?
