Hi. I discovered an issue on UM3292 while trying to get PCF8574 I2C LCD module to work with my STM32U083C-DK. On page 22, it is stated that D14 is connected to PB9. However, it is actually connected to PB7. I have the MB1933C version. When I replaced PB9 with PB7 my code it works flawlessly. KR,Ahmet Efe Akyazı

I have a Beaglebone Computer configured as SPI Masted, and an STM32F446 configured as SPI Slave. I am simply sending 'HelloWorld' from the Beaglebone to the STM32, and trying to send 'ABCDEFG!' from the STM32 to the Beaglebone. The STM32 receives the message from the Beaglebone as expected, but the STM32 MISO line never outputs the message to the Beaglebone. See the image for reference which shows the MISO output from the STM in blue, clk in yellow, and MOSI in green. I am using HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA(&hspi1, SPITxByte, SPIRxByte, SPI_BUFF_LEN); for setting up the communication.Can someone please help me out here? I've wrote a code without using Hal to produce a signal on the scope but i'm not getting any signal on my pin.This is on a NUCLEO F401RE. I tried configuring PC8 for TIM3_CH3 to generate a PWM signal by using DMA stream. But im not seeing any signal on the line. The same is tried by configuring TIM3_CH4 on PB1 and this works. Please help me understanding what can be going wrong.

Hey guys, I need your help:I want to use the STM32F103C8T6 board.The microcontroller will receive an external 8 MHz clock (from a source other than the system clock).I want the microcontroller to count to 8, and for 2 of those counts, one of the outputs should be high, and then for the remaining 6 counts, it should be low — this way generating a 1 MHz PWM signal with a 25% duty cycle.It's important to me that the PWM signal remains in phase with the external source.Is it possible to achieve this with the STM32F103C8T6 controller? If so how to approach this? Or will I need a different controller to implement this?

Sorry for my 3rd XIP post on this board, but the more I learn about this process, the more questions I have. Going through the XIP template code, I think I have a decent understanding of what it does. 1. Set up the XSPI Peripherals, one NOR Flash and one SDRAM2. Prepare both peripherals to be in memory mapped mode3. Set both peripherals to be memory mapped.4. Put the Program Counter at the start of NOR Flash, and start the application code from there.  What I thought I would see in this template, is the bootloader writing instructions to the SDRAM from the NOR flash, and setting the program counter at the start of SDRAM, instead of NOR Flash. Is the SDRAM even getting used? It seems quite important to the process, but even in the disassembly, all the addresses we're executing instructions from are in the 0x7000 0000 range, which is all NOR Flash. I'd really like to be able t

Hello, I am currently working on a sound acquisition project using the STM32G473VET6 microcontroller and IMP34DT05TR microphone. I am encountering an issue while trying to configure the Serial Audio Interface (SAI) clock frequency. My target frequency is 2.048 MHz, but CubeMX is not allowing me to set this value. Currently, the clock frequency is set at 12 MHz. I would appreciate any guidance on how to configure the SAI clock to 2.048 MHz or any potential workarounds to achieve this configuration. I noticed, that in the RM for the stm32f446 (v6, 2021) the description for the number of slots in the SAI peripheral (NBSLOT) seems wrong?I am not quite sure, but the behavior on my device suggests that the bitfield represents the number of slots -1.Therefore, I write a 0b1 for 2 slots. The way it is formulated states that it would require a 0b11 for 2 slots. Is this an error or am i wrong?

Hi Community,Prelude: I soldered my first PCB, added STM32H743ZIT6, decoupling capacitors, BOOT0 switch, NRST with resistor to ground, 5V->3.3V LDO, powered up by USB and 4-pins SWD for debug (PA13/DEBUG_JTMS-SWDIO and PA14/DEBUG_JTCK-SWCLK pins). Checked power supply with multi-meter, decoupling capacitance, no short circuits, MCU pins are soldered norm and everything seems ok. I had some problems in process and *maybe* MCU is damaged, but before replace it I would like to ask have I did all right to check MCU with ST-LINK V3 and STM32CubeIDE ?I would like to mention, that my PC USB ports output only 2.6V, not 5V (ST-LINK runs ok, but maybe this is the reason?)To connect ST-LINK to SWD I used Bridge connector CN9, choosing IO0 and SCL pins.In STM32CubeIDE I tried both GDR Server and OpenOCD with the same result, except OpenOCD mentioned, that 0.0000 voltage is detected (although I checked immediately

Hello Folks,I am working on STM32F1 series controller where we receive data on usart and perform actions accordingly. Few days back ,my system was getting rebooted due to watch dog timer. After debugging the issue,it was found that when i receive some data on usart, it gets stuck in its irq handler(irq handler gets called continuously even if i am not sending any data on usart from outside) due to which main function stops executing and WDT resets the controller. It is observed that every 2 micro seconds my usart irq is called. I am unable to understand why this handler is getting called so frequently even when no data is available on RX line.Can someone guide me to identify the issue? TIA.Bipin

Currently I am working on UART DMA and I encountered problems after transmitting data via DMA UART. After 1 successful data transmission, the state flag remains on BUSY. After a search, I ended up on this thread and this fixed the problem. I am working on STM32L431RCT6 microcontroller. Similar changes tried on STM32L053C8T6 also.Using custom hardware for product development and hardware is validated. I facing issue, bootloader not jumping to application. Hello, I am in need of the SVD file for the newly released C071 model with USB. AFAICT they have not been posted or updated anywhere yet.I'm working in Rust which requires the SVD file for generating register accessors so I cannot do anything with the chip until they are available.

The stm32L496VG I bought a long time ago downloads well, but the stm32L496VG I bought this time doesn't download.Both were downloaded with the same st-link v2,but it's very strange.Does the recently produced stm32 mcu not work for downloading if the st-link v2 version is low?

In application we are using MCU part no STM32G0KCIU6 of LQFP32 / UFQFPN32 - GP package, can external oscillator of frequency 16MHz (Example: Part no ASEMB-16.000MHZ-LY-T) can be connected to pin no 2 which is dedicated for LSE clock frequency 32KHz. As per datasheet Pin assignment and description list Pin No 2 of MCU has additional options to configure as OSC_IN whether this pin can be configured for HSE requirement? Can external oscillator of frequency 16MHz can be connected to this Pin?

I am using an STM32C031 and am trying to write the bootloader program and application program as a single .bin file.However, I have designed the boot loader program to start up when the power is turned on and jump to the application program by specifying the flash memory if the specified signal has not been received for a while, but I cannot get it to jump properly.
