Hello everyone,   I'm trying to use MPU6050, HMC5883L and MS5611 all together in a project with an STM32F446RE. The problem is, while every components all work fine alone, when is use MPU6050 and HMC5883L together, it doesn't work. By not working, I'm meaning that the datas collected are all wrong. What's also weird is that : MPU6050 and MS5611 work fine together, same for HMC5883L and MS5611. So let's focus on MPU6050 and HMC5883L only I guess...   For the connections I just did that : So in my case, I connect the two sensors to the same SCL and SDA. Which should work, but I suspect that the problem might come from this connection. I

I want to use STM32H7 SPI to drive DAC chip to generate sinusoidal wave. Can you recommend me relevant routines or ideas

I am having issues with the use of HAL_CAN_RxFifo0MsgPendingCallback. I've set every configuration (filter, start, interrupt, notification, and priority), but the function doesn't seem to be called at any time.Most of the code is generated from the cube Ide besides the implementation of the callback funtion and the filter.The filter is supposed to let every message get through.I've tested without the interrupt with FreeRTOS, and with the interrupt without FreeRTOS, and it worked. What could I be missing? I've also tested in loopback and normal mode, but it didn't make a difference. Additionally, every other function that I created worked fine.

I have a signal biased around the VREF output (2.048V) of an STM32G4. I have a comparator (COMP7) peripheral configured to compare this signal to VREF and it fails. If I set the second input of the comparator to DAC2 and set the DAC2 output value to max (0xFFF), the comparison works. Both should have the same behavior, but using the VREF comparison directly doesn't work. What could I be doing wrong? 

Hi,I am facing an issue with IWDG in  STM32G051G6U6.HAL_IWDG_Refresh(&hiwdg);  not refreshing IWDG and  the core resets after IWDG overflow time.IWDG overflow is set at 13Sec (varying wrt prescaler) and I am refreshing it at every 1 sec.Counter prescaler 128,  window value 4095, down counter 4095, Core Frq 40MhzOnly few test program lines are loaded to toggle an led @ 1 Hz with the help of two HAL_Delay (500);  gpio toggle followed by HAL_IWDG_Refresh(&hiwdg); Another problem noticed was, TIM17( APB bus frq 40Mhz) was not running or ISR (NVIC enabled) is not serving when I deactivate IWDG.I think i missed something else as the same board worked perfectly with all peripherals. Only change I made was Cube IDE update.

Hi,I'm relatively new to the STM32 world and I'm becoming frustrated that I can't make a simple UART work. No DMA, no interrupts just trying to send bytes out of the UART and then receive them. I had EMI problems interfacing with my 4.0" ILI9488 v1.1 display over SPI. Having a long cable (about 30cm) display and touch works when powered using ST-Link V2, but when i powered it using a generic 24V PSU, the display and touch is not working all the time. Then I tried making the cables short to about 5cm, and added a low pass RC filter (letting 19MHz and below as my display SPI frequency is ~16MHz) the display now works flawlessly. But the touch is not working, there is an interrupt signal from the touch driver and data over SPI is being spit out but the frequencies I recorded are different. The correct frequency of 977KHz is there but there are smaller harmonic frequencies present on the SCK, MISO, and MOSI line. Ps. I also added low pass RC filter of 1MHz cutoff frequency to the touch SPI MISO line but the lower harmonics are still present before and after I added the filter when I shortened the cables.

Hello,I've another observation, may be something wrong in board.host controller is sTM32H573 which will update firmware of slave controllers interfaced on SPI one is sTM32G071 and is STM32G474, I'm using nucleo-g474re boardfor sTM32g474 controller system memory boot configuration as per ref manual RM0440 Rev 4 pg no 89,nBOOT1, nSWBOOT0 bits in option byte should be set to '1' and BOOT0 pin should be pulled high.in reference manual RM0440 Rev 4 pg no 109 it is mentioned that default value of nSWBOOT0 bit is set to '1'. so no need to modify option byte to enable system memory boot.I've tried reading option bytes of nucleo board(board is new) using STM32CubeProgrammer and it reads nSWBOOT0 as '0' if this is the case then again I'll have to modify option bytes to enable system memory boot. please check and provide your inputs.

Hello, I will use STM32C011F6U6TR in a project.Since I need to program with USART, I think I need to use the "boot from system memory" mode in BOOT mode, am I right?As written on the datasheet, there are 3 modes. When switching between these modes on Bluepill boards, there are 2 BOOT pins and we were selecting the mode by setting these pins to 0 and 1.There is 1 BOOT pin on this processor and it refers to something called "boot selector option bit". I don't understand what exactly is the boot selector pin and how to control it. The datasheet is also quite incomplete in this regard.

Hello All,I want to trigger an input capture when another timer overflows. I have both timers set up, but I am missing on how to make the overflow event trigger the input capture of the other timer. The reference manual has been a good help, but I can't figure out how to connect the two timers.

Hello,I have a board with a interlaced 4 segment capacitive slider, not half-ended, connected to channels G2-IO2, G3-IO2, G4-I02 and G5-IO2, so in the same bank but different groups, as it should be I suppose. Can anyone please tell me what comfigurations I have to set in the Touchsensing configuration to make it work as expected? There are option for M1, M2 and H sliders. I chose M1. Next I have to choose between Extended and Basic type. Extended works the best, but the measurements of the position are still a mess. Sliding a finger across the sensor registers maximum value in the middle as well as one end, so I have no idea what is going on. Also choosing the other options makes for example half of the sensor completely inactive, which is strange.Did anyone work with this before? How did you do this? Any suggestion why it is not working properly?Thanks for answers,lost and confused engineering studen

My board uses the STM32H503KBU6 and I'm using the built-in bootloader with the FDCAN interface, as documented in AN5405.My firmware application is located at 0x08000000, and I am attempting to use the "Go" command to jump to it while the bootloader is running. This is required for our manufacturing and provisioning processes.As specified in AN5405, I send a frame with ID 0x021, with DLC 4 and the data bytes containing the address, MSB first. The bootloader sends me two ACK frames as expected.  TX B - 021 [04] 08 00 00 00 RX B - 021 [01] 79 RX B - 021 [01] 79  At this point, all activity stops. The bootloader is not running, and neither is my application.When I attach a debugger, the debug register tells me the chip is in the Lockup state. This is defined in the Armv8-M architecture reference manual as follows: 

I recently bought an stm32h747i-DISCO and tried to run 2 example projects the "JPEG_DecodingFromFLASH_DMA" and the "JPEG_MJPEG_VideoDecoding". Both of them run correctly on M7 processor, but it seems the display has an hardware problem because it turns on but just shows random noise. The first example is suppose to show an image saved in the FLASH memory, while for the second one I used an SD card and saved on it one of the .AVI example and called it video.avi as suggest on the readme.txt in the project. Both present the same problem with the display. Is this an hardware issue or I'missing something? 

Hi,I am using STM32L071C8T6 which has a VDDIO2 power pin. I don't see any information on this pin in the STM32L0xx hardware dev reference. My application doesn't require a separate level or source for any GPIO's, so can I connect VDDIO2 directly to VDD? Thanks

Hi all,I am trying to program some data to an external NAND flash chip(connected by FMC) by STM32F429BI with MDK IDE.According to the ARM document, I make a project(download it in the attachment) to generate the FLM file.(Before compiler the project, maybe need to uncheck the "Startup" in "Manage Run-Time Environment" --> "Device")This project can generate the FLM, and the FLM can be imported by another test project successfully.When I try to program the NAND flash by this FLM, block erase is OK, but program is timeout.(I already test the NAND flash access interface in stm32f4xx_hal_msp.c, it's work well)

I am trying to read NFC tags using the NFC03A1 NFC Module and the NUCLEO F439ZI, but I am not able to establish the connection.After sending the ECHO Command (0x00 0x55) and then sending the POLL control byte (0x03), when I read the response using HAL_SPI_Receive(), I get the same response every time 0xFF.I even tried the interrupt method where I checked the state of the IRQ_OUT pin, but it is never pulled down to indicate that the chip is ready to send data back.So my code keeps looping from that point. Any response will be appreciated, Thanks.

Hi,I've been struggling with using the STM32G473's internal comparator and DAC for a few days now.ComparatorI use the internal COMP1. For the negative Input I selected the DAC3-CH1 and for the positive input I selected the Pin PA1. PA1 is configured in analog mode. The Output signal is triggering an Interrupt via EXTI Line 21. The Hysterese is set to 0 for the moment.DAC3The DAC3 is one of the "internal only" DACs. So it unbuffered and can go down until 0V, but I cant measure its voltage output. The VREF+ is connected to an external 2,048V voltage reference. VDDA is connected to a filtered 3,3V source, VSSA is connected to the same Ground as the Controller VSS Pins.What I want to reach with this setting is: In Software I set a threashold via DAC3, and if the input voltage at pin PA1 reaches/overshoot the threashold I want to get the Interrupt.Basically this works.
