Hello.I purchased a Discovery STM32F429-DISC1 development board to start applications involving LCD screen. However, I am having a problem with the touch sensor. I recorded on the board some applications that I developed with TouchGFX, simple applications like pressing a button and making an image disappear and reappear, the problem is as if the touch sensor was inverted, for example, to press a button on the lower side of the screen I have to touch the top corner of the screen..it's like the sides are reversed..I thought it might be a problem related to my application so I recorded an example provided by ST. I saved the .HEX file and the problem persisted..does anyone have any suggestions on what is happening? Thanks

We started a project with Hyperflash and Hyperram (each on a separate OctoSPI port) with STM32H7A3. I will need to flash the Hyperflash (S26KL512) via 1) Keil ARM Programmer (ULINK Pro) <- Needs a programming algorithm2) By my own software parts for flashing firmware updates.Is there meanwhile a sample project which I can refer to for more details?Any help is very much appreciated.BR GS

I have been looking into Application Note AN3126 (Audio and waveform generation using the DAC in STM32 products) and in the document a demonstration source code project is mentioned which includes C-language files waveplayer.c and waveplayer.h. I was unable to find this mentioned demo project. Can you help me locate it? Thank you.

I connected an STM32G030C8T6 to my laptop using ST-link and ran debug using STM32CubeIDE. It was working properly for sometime. But now while putting it on debug, I am getting the following warning message.After this warning message, it does go into debug mode but it malfunctions. for example, I made a counter which increments every 1 seconds. But in live expression in CubeIDE, it continually shows the following value.

I am using STM32F4 and I am trying to create 8 independent pulse outputs. I have chosen 8 timers looking at the STM32F4 Discovery datasheet and mapped them to pins. I have code for TIM2 and TIM5 that works perfectly. I change the pulse and the frequency changes. Hi,As the title described, how to mitigate the current behavior when stm32 is applied power? My commercial power system are quite sensitive when MCU is power on.For example, let stm32 enters into low power mode once power is on and then control the chip enter into fromal user mode. Would that help?thanks. 

Heyho,I recently finished - or so I thought - the ethernet bootloader for STM32H73x.The bootloader can update the application and vice versa, updating, jumping back and forth, all working fine.Until yesterday all of a sudden (when I was working on some other http POST stuff unrelated to the internal flash) the bootloader somehow got stuck when verifying the freshly written application.Verification goes like:- read (Octo-) SPI flash image page (256 bytes)- compare SPI flash buffer to internal flash via pointerThe hard fault info that I got was not really useful, I was looking for all kinds of stuff, but could not solve the problem.Until I added some memory barriers, as you can see below - combined with loading each flash byte into a variable, and then comparing (before that I used directly used the flash byte pointer sFlashIntCtl.pu8ChkAddr[i] in the for loop).Now it's working again.BUT... does that make sense?Or

I am working on a project which requires storing values in flash memory so that the values will be retained next time the device is turned on. I tried this on STM32F103C8T6 and it worked without any issues. But on STM32G030C8T6 I'm getting error while trying to erase a page. The following is the code that I wrote for erasing a flash memory page.if (HAL_FLASHEx_Erase(&eis, &pageError) != HAL_OK){ HAL_FLASH_Lock(); return HAL_FLASH_GetError(); } else { HAL_FLASH_Lock(); return 0; }But it is returning 0x80. I did some debugging and found out that it is "HAL_FLASH_ERROR_PGS". Which by the function's comment, it is a "Programming sequence error". How do we design customized boards developed from Nucleo series, and still be able to flash it properly without wiring hassle or ST-link module? Is there a ST reference circuit available? There are a bootloader project and an application project to operate the device.I am using it by compiling the bootloader project and creating a bootloader file.I am using it by compiling the application project and creating an application file.Currently, these two projects are using the same .ioc file.The main.c file is used differently in the bootloader project and the application project. I would like to know how to create one project and create bootloader and application respectively according to compilation options.Below is the address area used by the bootloader and application software.1. Hello, im using STM32f410CBT3 on custom board. I was able to debug before, but now Im getting errors trying to conect to STM32 using stlink v3 set with isolation. Sometimes i can read data, but it is corrupted (all 0, but i didnt flashed it yet). Tried replacing CPU, but it didnt work. The nRST is conected with capasitor to gnd and i tried adding pull up with 10k (this cpu has pull up inside). Im desperate for help.Thank you all in advance. When measuring voltage on Nrst, it shows 0,6 V. I gues it is floating, but why...

When reading SRAM2 memory in STM32L496 using ST-Link V2 debug probe, incorrect values are received when read crosses 1k (1024 bytes) boundary. For example, when I try to read 32 bytes starting from 0x100003F0, last 16 bytes that start from 0x10000400 will be incorrect. Multiple reads from the same location return same (incorrect) values.Reading other memories - for example flash memory - with the same probe, do not have such issue. 

hi , i need   manage one usb  pendrive and usb keyboard in USB_fs mode .it's possible to use 2 USB_FS mode simultaneously like One is HOST+mass storage  and Another One is for HOST+HID can anyone please suggest . Cube ide able make the code generation above mentioned criteria but in Reality it possible to run ? based on your suggestion i can make order  2  USB_fs mode available  controller

Hi all,I have recently purchased a U083RC core and I am having problems reading data using USART1 under Single Wire (Half-duplex mode).I am connecting to a sensor that only uses a single wire to send and receive data using a custom protocol running at 1200 bits/s. I am trying to control 8 independent pulse channels using 8 independent pins of the STM32F407. Each pin will supply the pulse pin to a different motor, so I will be controlling 8 independent motors with the microcontroller. For each pin I am assigning an independent timer's Output Compare Channel. I have assigned the timers as follows:PA1 - TIM5_CH2 PA5 - TIM2_CH1 PA6 - TIM3_CH1 PA7 - TIM14_CH1 PA8 - TIM1_CH1 PB8 - TIM4_CH3 PB9 - TIM11_CH1 PE5 - TIM9_CH1 TIM5, TIM2, TIM3, and TIM4 work as expected. But as soon as I try to toggle TIM14, TIM1, TIM11 or TIM9 it stops working. I noticed that the timers that don't work require NVIC settings are shared between multiple timers. I don't understand why they are shared like this but it appears the issue is related. Here are the

HiI am designing PCB with the MCU above. I do not have any devboard for now with G0 to check what I need.I want to utilyze the REFIN function of the RTC. I also need to check presence of this signal (if there is no 50Hz signal for some time [few 100's ms] do other stuff). If this pin would be Alternate Function pin then I can read the Input value, but according to DS and RM REFIN is Additional Function (not the same as Alternate Function) - it overrides GPIO registers.  So my question is: Can I somehow read (through GPIO Input reg or in other register) input state of the REFIN pin? I cannot find confirmation that GPIO Input reg is working when pin is used as Additional Function.I do not have any other free pins left - not joking.

i just received my brand new stm32h747 discovery board, on power-up it does nothing just two LEDs light up, according to the user manual it should be preloaded with a demo.I checked in cube prog and it reports as blank.Is it possible that my device got damaged somehow or it is just not flashed?aren't units tested before shipping out?Is this a common thing? I don't remember ever receiving a discovery board blank

Hi,     I have an application code(Call it as Code-1). I able to dump it into my custom STM32H735  board through ST-LINK V3 MINIE. But when i try to dump same code for second time, it showing below error," Target no device found"Error in Initializing ST Link Device.Reason: NO device found on target."I have 2nd board, Field working code(Code-2). I Can able to dump this Code-2  into 2nd board multiple times. But when i tried to dump Code-1 into 2nd board, for first time i able to dump it. When i tried for 2nd time it showing same error as shown above.I understand that the Code-1 modified SWD pin configurations(unintentionally), due to which second time ST Link is being not detected.How to solve this problem?? There is glitch when accessing timer registers using DMA- Halfword memory to halfword peripheral DMA transfer- DMA target is TIM15->DMAR, configured to write ARR register.- TIM15 dithering enabledUnder these conditions, bits from ARR[3:0] will end up in ARR[19:16] and will be used as part of timer period.Using word (32bit) transfer destination fixes this problem. This behavior is undocumented and it does take some time to find it.
