Hello,I have waisted 2 days already on trying to figure out why interrupt is not being triggered when using CAN RX.I started new fresh project just to test the CAN and debug it so there is not much initialized here.So sending data via CAN works for me but when I want to receive it the interrupt never triggers. I have tried with filter and also without ! (didnt know if that maybe has something to do with it) I also have ground connected to my CAN PEAK so that shouldn't be an issue also. I think I initialized all interrupts correctly. I should also add that I created everything with cube IDE .ioc. Any ideas or help will be appriciated. I need to generate a checksum of data from X address(FLASH) to Y address (FLASH). and write at last 4 bytes of FLASH memory in "xyz" section. When I say calculate checksum, I mean addition of all given data bytes from X address(FLASH) to Y address (FLASH).Can we do it at compilation time ?  

In a contest, which is sponsered by ST, I get the NUCLEO-H503RB MB1814A, which seems like a testing product without mass production. Is it possible to get its block diagram of hardware? Why I ask this is that I may face the problem like its HSE is not working. 

I'm using stm32c011f4u6 and keil5. and I'm using 2 ADC channels by Polling. Every time I read an ADC channel, it only return '0X01AF'. Hi all,i'm working with a STM32F469i-discovery board trying to read the  external signal at 32kHz coming from an RTC module. The oscillating signal voltage is a CMOS type. I'm using TIM2_ETR input located on pin PA15 configured as follow. I'm not able to read any pulse on the pin and every time that I run the system the oscillator voltage fall to 0.3V instead of the 2.5V that I can measure when the system is not running.I test the oscillator signal on Arduino board and I can read the right frequency just connectin the oscillator output to Arduino pin8.  Thanks for the support.

Dear Sir,One of our applications we are using STM32L4S7VIT6 100 pin micro-controller. From external peripheral PWM type signal is coming to Port Pin PA1. We want to measure Frequency and Duty Cycle. It requires two channels of timer. Whereas this pin is supporting only one channel (TIM2-Channel 2) from datasheet. Please suggest how to configure TIM2 for this purpose. Hi all, We have a product containing the STM32G030K8T6 MCU. The code is working like expected and the product is meeting all specifications. The product is battery powered and can be charged via USB. So far so good. If the product is assembled it will go into a burn-in test where 70 plus products will be charged and de-charged between 3 to 10 times. Hello all!I am reaching out to see if anyone here has any experience jumping from application code to the embedded system bootloader while using the System Window Watchdog (WWDG) peripheral. I am using the STM32G431 series. The ST documentation (AN2606 Rev 62) has a fairly lengthy discussion on how to handle working with the IWDG peripheral, and I've avoided any issues using it, and then jumping. There is not, however, documentation on the WWDG. Hi all,I have the problem concerning resetting the CAN bus after the other side was set to a wrong bitrate:Example:My system is sending data with 500 kBit. But the receiver is set to 1 MBit.This results of course in Errors when sending data. I handle this by resetting the CAN Bus port after a couple of Errors.As soon as the receiver switches to the correct bitrate of 500 kBit, my system should then work properly, but it still gets Error Interrupts - even after another reset.The debugger runs into "Error Warning" and "Error Passive" Interrupt states. And only a small part of the messages will be transmitted. Sometimes it works as expected, but most times it is still getting Error Interrupts.How can I safely return to a working CAN interface? Hi everybody. I am using "STM32H7B3LIHQ" MCU and i want to try led blinking. I have created a new project in CubeMx. I am using 24MHz crystal resonator and MCU frequency is 280 MHz. Toolchain is "STM32CubeIDE" and program is very simple;  HAL_Delay(500); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOD, GPIO_4, SET); HAL_Delay(500); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOD, GPIO_4, RESET);  But i can't build project. I have a "No such file or directory" error.

I am using STM32F302R8 I have a long code that triggers the Hard Fault interrupt after a few seconds because of these instructions (of the sine in particular): The theta_fi angle is TIM6->CNT and I need to convert it from q15 to floating point. I tried with both arm_q15_to_float function of DSP ... and arm_q15_to_float_new found online. I can't figure out what the problem is.

I brought the sinewave with 120mVpp amplitude as positive input to STM32G431K8 onboard comparator (COMP4). Negative input is internaly taken from DAC. Comparator hardware output is connected to oscilloscope probe (short trace, spring connection) and can bee seen at screen 1 as "red" trace. Comparator have maximum (70mV) hysteresis and oscilloscope data is consistent with this (output transitions are separated by ~60mV). But when i zoom at comparator output transitions, i can see nasty glitches (trace 2 and 3). When i change GPIO slew rate, glithes will disappear as expected. But despite this, they are still present ! If i enable EXTI interrupt from comparator to detect for example falling edge, i can see that IRQ is called often also on rising edge with the same rate as glitches mentioned above. Therefore i believe that glitches are present inside MCU regardless of what is happening outside (if comparator output is on or off, or slew rate i high or low) and therefore i can rule out

Hi all,I am having a very strange problem with an SPI read operation on the STM32F103ZG.I am using the SPI bus to read from an external ADC device. I am performing around 1000 reads per second and almost all of them are coming back perfectly, but once every 10 seconds or so (quite random timing) one of them fails. I have put a logic analyser on the SPI bus and what I am seeing is that the SPI is actually pausing in the middle of a byte.Here you can see the normal, successful, SPI read.  I place a byte in the DR and we can clearly see it clocking the read command  When the read operation fails, I see the followi

Hi,I'm using a UART for "printf" debugging so it's only transmitting, it never receive, so i'm not using the RX pin for anything so i would like to know if:Is reliable to set the RX pin to perform another function?If so, can i do it directly on CubeMX? I tried but when i set the RX pin to another function the configuration of the uart on the left pannel gets deactivated.I guess is it possible to do it, i only should place a function to reconfigure the RX pin to another function just after the PERIPHERAL_Init section, but the UART driver will be still working?Have you tried something similar?Regards :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:

This is more an experience report.I want to get audio from an INput source and forward to an OUTput sink. And both should stay in sync "forever" (I do not want to have a clock drift, I do not want to have the condition to skip a sample or to add one, just because of a slightly different timing (different clock frequencies)).My use case:STM32U5A5 with ADF for a PDM MIC as INput and SAI2 as SPDIF OUTput.I use 48KHz audio Fs (PDM MIC is with decimation 64, so 3.072 MHz PDM MIC clock).ADF runs in DMA mode (cyclic double buffer) but SPDIF (SAI2) runs in INT mode (single buffer).This means: the ADF fills seamlessly the result buffer, without any software overhead, but the SAI2 as SPDIF out needs all the time periodic interrupts and the callback called and restarting the next INT.Example:
