Hello i am trying to configure STM32g0b1keu6 for extended ID but i am not able to get any messages on my PCAN view window. Also i observed the TXBAR bit is not setting at all, as it represents the transmit request field. Can anyone help me with the same

At first this post looks more like a catharsis than a question, but ultimately there is a question.Why are there as many procedures to enter sleep mode as there are STM32 programmers? There I see Piranha posting his own catharsis, titled "The ST Standby and Shutdown disaster".My question is, and focusing on the STM32U5, is there one, or set of definitive theoretical and practical guides to follow and get into low power? If entering and exiting low power requires executing dozens of lines of code, I can accept it, although it really not the best of the worlds. 

Greetings.For our data collection devices, we use STM32F401 as the microprocessor and Telit modems to communicate with the server. We are planning to have a feature to update the firmware on the STM32F401 over the air, if possible. Currently we use STM Cube IDE or ST Link Utility to update the firmware. Is there any support for this? Does STM32F401 has enough memory to support this or do we need another processor with a file system to achieve this?

I'm working on a project with the STM32G4 MCU. I want to know the maximum temperature at which the MCU can operate at full power. What is the corresponding internal MCU temperature for that value? What does the temperature information in the above image signify?

Hi, I am using STM32F746G_DISCO, STM32 CubeMX version: 6.11.1, STM32CubeIDE version: 1.15.0 and FW_F7 firmware package V1.17.1.I tested the project: \STM32F746GDISCOVERY\STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.17.0\Projects\STM32746G-Discovery\Applications\USB_Device\MSC_Standalone. It works fine.Then I create the project with CubeMX (please see the attached file). I made the settings according to the STM32F746GDISCOVERY example.I enabled ICache and DCache, Heap Size=  0x2000, Stack Size= 2000, MSC_MEDIA_PACKET= 512.While debugging, I noticed that there were no interrupts, and the program was hanging in a loop, as shown in the picture below.Th

Hello,I am attempting to set up a timer PWM output to have a set 600s period with a variable duty cycle based on a potentiometer input using an STM32G030J6 MCU.  I've setup PWM output timers before will little difficulty but this time I'm having a difficult time calculating the Prescaler and ARR values to accomplish this long of a period.  Are the timers just not capable of doing this long of a period and I need to us a different method to create this signal?

Why ? Why can I use more than 48KB RAM? Thanks!

Posted on July 31, 2013 at 18:09I cannot find a BSDL file or any mention of Boundary scan testing capability in the datasheets for the STM32F4 family.  Having said that, I did no find any mention of Boundary scan test capability in the STM32F1 or STM32F2 familes documentation either but they both support it. So, does the STM32F4 family support boundary scan and if it does where can I get a BSDL file from? #stm32-bsdl-jtag-boundary

Hi, we are having issues flashing firmware on to our custom board (attached).The output from GDB is: <div>Unable to match requested speed 2000 kHz, using 1800 kHz[stm32f4x.cpu] halted due to debug-request, current mode: ThreadxPSR: 0x01000000 pc: 0xfffffffe msp: 0xfffffffcFailed to launch GDB: Error erasing flash with vFlashErase packet (from target-download)</div> In the schematic you'll notice there is an error where `BOOT1` is misidentified, however we have pulled the correct `BOOT1` low (pin 37)  manually with a jump wire, this did not change the output. We have a working firmware for a different design that uses the same MCU so we don't beleive this to be a firmware issue per se. 

I am developing some applications that use an STM32G431 MCU and have a question about one of the figures in the reference manual (RM0440). In the chapter descripting the FDCAN peripheral, Figure 664 "FDCAN block diagram" (MSv51819V2) labels the FDCAN peripheral block as "FDCANL". What is the significance of the "L" suffix here? Is it a revision code of some sort? Does it indicate a "light" version of the peripheral? Something else?For comparison, I looked at some other reference manuals:RM0456 (STM32U5 series) shows "CANFDL" as well (Figure 873, MS51817V1)RM0399 (for STM32H757) shows "FDCAN1" and "FDCAN2" (since there are two instances on that device) (Figure 775, MS51729V1).

hi there ! I have an RTOS project, there are many interrupts (UART1,UART2,UART3, CAN interrupts, ....etc) . I want to measure the interrupt latency of any interrupt in the system. as you know the latency is the time between the event of interrupt (T1)  and the first instruction in the ISR (T2) of the interrupt we want to measure its latency. We are  using STM32L053R8.What is the best method (Clock and Low power modes) to achieve lowest power consumption while taking ADC reading every one second? Also whether to use RTC or LPTIM or combination of both to wakeup the device from the Low Power mode and take the ADC readings?What should be the ADC configuration and Power saving methods we can implement if we just want to take a single ADC reading and compare it with a threshold value if the ADC reading is lesser then the threshold value, it should go back to sleep as fast as possible?

Hello. I built a project with STM32F407 DISCO board, I record audio and store it in USB OTG for later playbacks... Anyways, I've been using the onboard MEMS mic as well as the 3.5 audio jack. But I want to replace those for an electret mic and a tiny small speaker connectes through GPIO.Reason why is I want to use the mic with a long cord/cable. And since it is an onboard mic, ai can't.It has been a nightmare trying to do this on the last days. It seems easy task for someone who knows the way. Thanks. Ed.

Hello,I am having some issues connecting to the B-U585I-IOT2A development kit with my computer. I have preformed steps 1 through 3 as detailed in section 6 of the user manual UM2839, however, the device is not recognized by device manager and I am unable to to open a terminal to communicate with the board. I have tried different cables, ports, and computers to no avail.I have connected the development kit to the computer using the micro-type B port (CN8) with JP4 set to 5V_USB_STLK. This results in the following LED pattern:LD3 = Blinking red.LD5 = Solid green.LD7 = Blinking green. I am unable to detect the device using either the cube programmer or the STMcube IDE.  Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. STM32H7 SeriesI am trying to upload Ardupilot to my board. The co-processor works just fine with the regular procudure but no matter how much I tried, could not get the firmware on MCU.I have tried with the regular upload process documented on LINK  . However, even Windows 11 and ubuntu 22.04 do not seem to recognize the device. The output of lsusb shows no sign of a device while windows does not have any idea of its existence.The board features STM32H75 as its MCU and STM32F301 as co-processor.

Hii I'm currently working stm32h743IITx 176  pins stm32cube mx v 6.2.0 . i used ethernet in lwip middleware are used my currently using firmware version 1.9.1 but couldn't connect udp cilent in ethernet   .  No ping, no nothing.
