I am trying to create variable phase shift between TIM1 and TIM8. Phase shift is generating only one time but i want to change the phase shift while in running. I have set TIM1 channel 1 is for PWM generation, TIM1 Channel 4 is selected as output compare no output mode and slave timer is TIM8 channel 1. I want to create variable phase shift between tim1 channel 1 and tim8 channel 1. While i am changing the counter value of tim1 channel 4 the phase shift is not changing accordingly between tim1 and tim8. please help me in this issue.Thankyou in advance 

Hallo everybody, I have a question about the FDCAN peripheral of the STM32G0B1VC.I’m using the STM32Cube_FW_G0_V1.6.0 library and I have initialized the bus with AutoRetransmission:CanHandle.Init.AutoRetransmission     = ENABLE; During the transmission of a frame, when the ACK is not received the peripheral automatically resends the frame after a minimum delay (about 50 usec).Is there any way to increase the delay between the frames?When I repeat the test with a different platform, STM32F072VB and STM32Cube_FW_F0_V1.9.0 library

Hi team,             Is there any sample of OTG MSC on F7 controller. Need both Host and Device stack on single application. Based on the ID pin need to decide which one to run.  For Host - If i connect an USB stick to controller, it can read and write on stick. And if i connect the controller to laptop, i can access it's external flash area as MSC device (For Device). Is there any sample code or example available for this, Kindly provide me reference here.    Thanks,Shikamaru

 Hello,I have a small problem when using a custom delay function as follows : void delay_us(uint32_t delayus) { uint32_t start_count = __HAL_TIM_GET_COUNTER(&htim2); while ((__HAL_TIM_GET_COUNTER(&htim2) - start_count) < delayus) { } }  The attached image shows the configuration of timer 2.This delay function should allow me to generate short pulses. except that sometimes it does and sometimes nothing happens when I use it. I don't know what the problem is. Could you please help me? 

I want to take ADC data at 166ksps but I am getting after 2 second. Can anyone suggest How can I take ADC data and also perform calculation ? Please give some guidance. I am attaching my main.c file.

Posted on January 15, 2017 at 18:50Hallo,  i use the HAL to program a little test software to transfer data via spi between two STM32 Nucleo boards.One board with a STM32L476 sends every 5 ms 74 bytes of data as a spi master with 625 kBit.Chip select is used as GPIO output. clock is high if idle, CS is low active, data valid with faling edge of clock.A secon Nucleo64 should receive this 74 byte, configured as spi slave without NSS usage. CS is used as an IRQ input with detection of the faling edge. DMA on den and receive, in normal mode.I have programmed, that with the falling edge IRQ of the CS, the functionHAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA() will be called. On the first NUCLEO i can adjust a time, sothat CS will be low a short time before the data was sent (I tried 50µs).The slave receives data, but the data was shifted. So the first 3 or 4 bytes in my receive-array

Hi, We are using STM32F103 in our project. Established IPC communication over USART. We have almost finished our development. We kept our setup running for long, sometimes we found that IPC-USART communication getting stuck, IPC does not work until we reset it by external pin. Is there any issue with USART of this chip?Your help would be appreciated.Thank you.

Hi.I want to save and load data to flash memory. Hello forum, I'm starting to develop a smart robotic system, I wanted to base the movement part on an STM32 micro-controller,We thought about basing our SLAM on a camera and a simple distance sensor (and an IMU of course) for the initial mapping. the STM32U575ZI was supposed to support the DCMI interface and therefore is capable of handling such a task. but I just discovered that the Nucleo counterpart of the MCU isn't blocking the DCMI function. is there anything else I can do as a roundabout for this problem? maybe a different Nucleo that is more suited for such a task?thanks in advance

Hello,I am attempting to generate a waveform with a period of 33ms. In-between each period, I need to toggle the timer output 5 times with a varying timescale. My initial thought is to do this using a timer in output compare mode and then update the CRR register with the 5 pulses from the DMA in a circular mode. ___________ ___________ ___________ | 5700 |___3000___| 4700 |___3000___| 10000 |_________________________ <------------------------------------33ms------------------------------------> So far, the pin toggles but at intervals that are over the values in the array. Below is the waveform as seen on a logic analyser. I am certain that the input clock is correct at 36MHz and the period should be 33ms.

I have an older code where I use TIM1 in PWM2 mode to generate a frequency for a buzzer connected to the OC Channel4. Code is coming from F051 project.Now I started a new project and wanted to reuse the same principal, but i do not see the function to turn on an off the Output pin to get either low, or a the PWM signal on the output.I was using LL_TIM_CC_EnableChannel (TIM3,LL_TIM_CHANNEL_CH4);I found TIM_CCxNChannelCmd(&htim1, Channel, TIM_CCxN_ENABLE) in the HAL but this is static, so not intended to be used by my code.What is the equivalent function for LL_TIM_CC_EnableChannel in the HAL ?

Hi,I am using an STM32F746IE controller and in some of them i don't see proper ST programmed values in address locations of BOOT_ADD0 (0x1FFF 0010) and BOOT_ADD1 (0x1FFF 0018). As per the reference manual i understand the ST programmed values in these locations should be 0xFF7F 0080 (ITCM-FLASH base address) for BOOT_ADD0 and 0xFFBF0040 (system memory bootloader address) for BOOT_ADD1, but in my board i am seeing 0xFFFF on both of these locations (attached image1), due to this i am not able to access the system memory bootloader to flash my application by turning BOOT0 pin high. Is there a reason why this would happen in some of the controllers? These are fairly new controllers and we haven't programmed any user code yet.

Hi,I am trying to read some square signal with timer input capture for both falling and rising edge times. When i start the code, the interrupt routine works once, even if there is no signal. I am using the code below for setup timer and interrupt routine. Any advise ? There is not information, on how to clear the flag (1 or 0), on register TIMx_SR (x=1,8,20).I believe there were also other registers where it was not mentioned, how to clear them.

Since we have decided to create the prototype, the first requirement is ensuring that the chosen H753-EVL board is functioning properly. However, its GPIOs are already occupied with essential peripherals such as LTDC, FMC-SDRAM, SRAM, NOR flash, USB_FS, USB_HS, and Ethernet. Therefore, we need an additional 25 GPIOs for the thermal printer and its motor. Should we share the SRAM and NOR flash buses with SDRAM for any specific reason? Additionally, is it possible to use a 1024x600 display with the normal DWIN GUI and later switch to TouchGFX?where,we dont' need stlink,audio,expansion and Arduino connector too..is removing sram,norflash and using only qspi and sdram alone can give us gpios?? is that not affect any working of custom board after assembly.

Hello,I configured my FD CAN on NUCLEO STM32H53 with the function as below. I want to have two RX Buffers to receive 2 specific CAN IDs. However, when I checked RX_BUFFER0 with if (HAL_FDCAN_IsRxBufferMessageAvailable(&hfdcan1, FDCAN_RX_BUFFER0) > 0), I do not receive anything in the buffer even though the frames were sending on the bus. But when I checked RX_BUFFER1 withif (HAL_FDCAN_IsRxBufferMessageAvailable(&hfdcan1, FDCAN_RX_BUFFER1) > 0) , I see CAN frame coming in. Hi there, folks. I hope someone familiar with this product can help me. I am trying to update the firmware in a Malahit DSP2 radio receiver that is powered by an STM32H743 MCU. I am following the manufacturer’s procedure, which utilizes STM32CubeProgrammer and the appropriate “.bin” file. I have attempted this using two different host systems - a Dell and Lenovo laptop, both running windows 10. I am using STMCubeProgrammer V2.16.10. After placing the device in dfu mode, it shows up as expected under windows device manager as a Universal Serial Bus device named “Malahit receiver DFU”. STM32CubeProgrammer finds this USB device, but when I click the “connect” button it hangs forever without completing the connection. I tried this also through a USB hub, with the same results. Hello dear ST community,   we want to use the STM32F469i as a Dashboard in our Formula Student car but we are having trouble receiving any can data whilst transmitting works just fine. We tried allot allready but nothing has worked for us so far.We are using a PCAN-USB adapter and a TLV7251V CAN-Transeiver for our test setup. We tried to follow the can example for the F469eval board as close as possible (as there is no can example for the f469i-disco) but in normal mode not loopbackmode.  We tried receiving via polling and interrupt without success and we aim to make it work with interrupts.We activated the interrupts for RX0 and RX1 (we also tried using only one of them). I'm using a STM32F105 MCU on which I want to use only the CAN 2 Module to communicate. The pins for the CAN1 Module are used for other stuff. Currently I'm setting the init parameters for CAN1 and CAN2 but CAN1 is never startet. On the low level initialisation for CAN1, only the peripheral clock is activated but the GPIO's are not initialized.Somehow it doesn't seem to work. If I'm using a protocol Stack for CANOpen bevor and then initalize the basic CAN protocol afterwards it seems to work. All the CAN1 and CAN2 Registers do have the same values in both cases (starting CAN directly and starting CAN after using the CANOpen stack). Do I really have to start the CAN1 Modul in order to use the CAN2 Modul ? Isn't it enough to just activate the peripheral Clock of CAN1 ?Does anybody have a solution to start only the CAN2 Modul without having to set the GPIO's for the CAN1 modul? H

I am trying to gain an appreciation of how much f32 128x128 element matrix-vector multiply compute I should expect from this type of processor (for the purpose of running small control neural networks on the m7 core).As I understand the m7 core, it should be capable of executing one fused-multiply-add per clockcycle as long as there is data in the core. I dont have a definite reference on that so if anyone knows more id love to hear it. What I find most difficult to appreciate is the memory system. As I understand, the tightly-coupled-memory (TCM) can be read with zero-latency; I imagine that means it takes a single cycle and that latency can get hidden by the instruction pipeline.The way I see it, I could page matrix entries from data-sram into dTCM using DMA. Moreoever, I could page matrix entries from flash into data-sram using DMA. The questions I am most in the dark about are about bandwidth:
