Hi, I am using the B-U585I-IOT20A Board and I want the board to notify me in some way if someone is attempting to access and modify its content via JTAG. Is there a way to do this?

I designed a circuit board with the STM32f765vgt6 chip following ST's hardware recommendations (two 2.2uF ceramic capacitors with low ESR connected to Vcap1, Vcap2).I'm having the following issues: When I initialize the CPU clock frequency to 216MHz, there's a chance that the MCU initialization of the clock fails (the program is stuck at the SystemClock_Config()). If the clock initialization is successful, the main program runs for a while then runs into hardfault. However, with the same program, when I initialize the CPU frequency to 180MHz, everything works normally. All the clock initialization code were generated by using STM32CubeMX Ver6.10.0.Is the STM32f765vgt6 chip supposed to operate well at 216MHz or did I make a mistake somewhere? When I measure the waveform on the VCAP pin of the MCU, as shown in the picture. Hello,I'm managing a Wifi modem using one of the USARTs of the STM32L475.Modem is working fine when sending and receiving AT commands and data, but I'm not able to receive URC's.I only receive URC's when they come 'together' (very close) to the answer of a AT command.But if do not receive any URC when micro is not asking nothing: in this case, micro has RX IRQ activated (HAL_UART_Receive_IT(...)), and micro enters into the HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback when receiving data, but no URC is received --> The only character received at this time is either 0x0A or 0x0D.Any suggestion in managing URCs?Regards

Hello.I am trying to save variables to flash when there is power loss that i detect using PVD. I got PVD to work correctly and trigger interrupt at 2.9V, but now i cannot find the right examples to see how  to save the variables quickly to flash. I have about  5ms from 2.9V-2V to  to save them, how many and how big(uint32_t?) do you think i can save. Those variables are my timer counters and some user defined settings. When the power is back, can the program start to run forward where it left off?Thank you.

Hi,I am migrating my project from STM32F778AI to STM32H747XI and I have some issues regrading EXTI interrupt on M4 core.I use custom board with J-link programmer.I have simple button with hardware pull-up and I configured pin to be EXTI11 on M4 (enabling interrupts- falling edge) and it is not working. But, if I configure this pin to M7 it works perfectly..Is there anything special that I need to do to make it work?I read that EXTI works on M4 the same as in M7.Thanks,David

I'm writing firmware for stm32c011f4u6 using Keil5. I downloaded and checked an example about ADC from the homepage, but I only found the code that uses DMA. Is there any example of using ADC with Polling instead of DMA? Also, I need an example for multi-channels, not single channels.

started using STM32H573 recently, having issues with Flash Edata when reading data from EData area, which crashed at HardFault_Handler() with STM32H573I-DK. But it is running fine with NUCLEO-H563ZI for the same job.The example project “FLASH_EDATA_EraseProgram” has no issue of running on NUCLED-H563ZI and reading data from Edata area with Pointer to the address. However, a testing project with STM32H573, which was created by referring to the example project, runs well on "MX_FLASH_Init()", then "HAL_FLASHEx_Erase()", then "HAL_FLASH_Program()", but fails when reading/accessing Flash Edata area. Why?Any difference in reading/addressing Flash EData area for H563 and H573?Can someone explain it?ThanksJimmy 

Hello, I'm new to the forum and I want to ask about how to make the I2S connection between an STM32F441RETx and an SSM2604 Audio CODEC.Here are the corrections:My doubt is on how I should connect the Serial Data pins from the CODEC to the MCU. Should I use just one I2S interface to first receive data, then transmit it? Should I use one in Full Duplex? Or should I use two, with one in slave mode?I've read the datasheet of the CODEC, and I know that BCLK is the clock, RECLRC is the word select (WS) for REC data, and PBLRC is the word select for Playback data. But how should I connect them to the MCU to receive and transmit through I2S?My goal is to record data with the codec, send it to the MCU, process it, and then play it back with the codec. I'm open to suggestions and corrections. I know how to do the code (I guess), but I've never designed the hardware connection between a codec and MCU. That's why I'm asking about the pinout. Hi,I'm designing a board for weather observations and having a problem with the RTC timing out.I'm using a TCXO as the input for the RTC on LSE.  The particular TCXO is ECS-327TXO-2012-33-TR.Here is the weird thing.  If the board is inside a building, my house in this case, all is good, the RTC starts up no problem.   However, if the board is outside (it's a weather instrument so it will operate outside on battery power), the RTC fails to start up, with a timeout inside RTC_EnterInitMode.If I run the RTC on LSI then all is fine, but I need more accuracy, thus the TCXO.Below are details on the setup.  If any further information is required let me know.Any help would be greatly appreciated!  This one really has me stumped.JerryThe circuit diagram for the TCXO is:

Hello, as part of my master's, I am required to process information received from some electronic system, I need to read 36 bits (output of 3 12 bit ADC) at the same time and process them and perform calculations and for that I need execution speed. I chose STM32H743ZGT6 and I wanted to know if ports B,D,G,E in this microcontroller have direct access to SRAM memory for fast reading of the ports and the possibility to process them after 4 clock cycles? That is, they will be stored in SRAM after 4 clock cycles

Hello,I am using STM32L052K6T6 with a passive buzzer is connected to PA6. Idea was to use TIM22_CH1 as PWM output to feed the buzzer. However when I get to configure PWM on this port, only relevant looking option is "PWM Generation No Output" and indeed the pin does not seem to be outputting any PWM waveform.I might be misunderstanding something, what does PWM Generation No Output means ? I checked the Datasheet several times, and there is no difference on specs between this channel and others. What does it mean a pin being assigned to PWM but not outputting ?Is there a way for me to get PWM output from this pin (aside from bouncing the pin manually on every timer interrupt) ?Many thanks,Ali

HiI am having an issues trying to program an STM32F401 LQFP-64 chip over USART. Previously I have been able to do this on a STM32F103 with no issues.Boot0 pin is connected to Vdd and Boot1 is connected to ground. I am using USART1(PA9/10). When I send the wake bootloader command from my PC using an FTDI serial adapter, I do not get an ACK response, however when using a STM32F103 with the boot pins and all other external hardware the same the bootloader responds as expected. I have tried scoping out the Tx and Rx lines and I can see 0x7F on Rx but no response on Tx. I have also tried adding pull up resistors on the Tx pin and I am still not getting any output. I can connect and program the chip on SWD and read back the full memory which implies the chip is working fine.Looking at the S

I have 2 projects for a nucleo-H536ZI. the first project the printf()s work and are tied to the _write() function which I have debugged and proven. The second project the printfs() do not work using the same printf() & _write() function code again and I have verified it gets to the correct  _write(), code shown below. Both projects have the same pins (verified) and the same MX_USART2_UART_Init() as shown below. I did copy and drop the BSP folder from the repository incase it maters on the project that doesn't work. Both have the same debugger configurations set up. Hello everyone,I'm working on a project with the STM32F412VET6 and I'm having an issue with flash writing when USB Host is active.When USB Host is active and I attempt to write to flash, execution gets stuck at the FLASH_FlushCaches() function, specifically at the very first line:if (READ_BIT(FLASH->ACR, FLASH_ACR_ICEN) != RESET)Notably, if I remove the MX_USB_HOST_Init() function, flash writing works fine, but if I place it anywhere in the code (even after flash writing calls), the code always gets stuck at the same point.It seems that just including the MX_USB_HOST_Init() function in the code causes some sort of issue with the stack or something else.I've checked the stack and it seems fine, but I currently have no other ideas about what could be causing the problem.Do you have any suggestions for me?
