STM32 MCUs Products

I have a board design based on stm32L452 , USB gets recognized on a windows PC and I can talk to the device over any software like putty and a Test software sees the com port and can to the device. However in Android (Iam using samsung  GalaxyTab A8), usb is not even recognized. The Tab support OTG mode and I did change default USB mode in the tab (Tried all the combo, file transfer, teethering, media etc). Nothing helps. Any advice is greatly appreciated 

hi,i use sbsfu bootloader, the problem was the boot don't found the image.i used Ymodem to send image but the same think .as montionned in the image bellow. 

Hello Community, I am getting internal compiler error: Segmentation fault when optimization is set to O2 or O3. I am using GNU C17 (Arm GNU Toolchain 11.3.Rel1) version 11.3.1 20220712 toolchain. I am compiling code for STM32U575ZI MCU. Compilation goes through without error when optimization is set to O0 or O1. As soon as Optimization is set to O2 and above, I see the compiler error: internal segmentation fault. Below is screenshot of error. Also attached is compilation log. Can someone tell the reason for internal Segmentation fault and help to fix it?&nbs

I'm working on stm32f103 I2C peripheral. I've one stm32f103 master and another stm32f103 slave. The master should send some text to the slave, but start condition never generates. I'm using NUCLEOH56ZI board which consists of STM32H563ZIT6 controller.I'm checking, if there is any provision to encrypt the data/program on external FLASH.in the stm32h563/573 reference manual ,i see OTFDEC is a feature provided for this purpose.but when i see in the STM32CUBEIDE, i don't see any peripheral listed with name OTFDEC.any body have idea about this. 

My STM32L051C8T6 board encountered a very strange phenomenon. It occasionally failed to wake up from the STOP mode, although the IWDG was enabled.I am using Zephyr RTOS, but do not enable Zephyr's power management, and use the following peripherals:1. I2C12.USART1 and USART23.SPI14.ADC1In order to reduce power consumption, the MCU will periodically enter the STOP mode and wake up the MCU through RTC. The RTC timeout range is from 500ms to 25 seconds. The watchdog timeout is the maximum value. In addition, the MCU can also be woken up through button1 (PB3) and button2 (PB9).I'm surprised, it works fine in most cases, but occasionally it can't wake up through RTC, including two buttons. J'ai utilisé le microcontrôleur STM32F401CD, et j'avais initialement prévu d'utiliser uniquement l'horloge interne HSI du MCU, donc je n'ai pas ajouté d'horloge externe. En voulant programmer ma carte, j'ai remarqué que je parviens à effectuer une mise à jour sur mon STM32 Link/v2, mais je n'arrive pas à cibler mon MCU en SWD (qui est correctement alimenté en 3.3V, comme mesuré). Dear Sir.I am trying to test for rts/cts , I use a program that transmit a 16 byte dataevery 1 ms .Tying rts or cts to gnd or 3.3v  makes no impact on the TX output.How do I insure that the code  works with RTS\CTS ? Pleas advise 

I have used the evaluation board (STEVAL-STWINKT1B) for a while now, and have always used USB cable to load my hex files to reprogram it.I would like to repogram it using RS-485 with the Stm32CubeProgrammer, is this possible? do I need to make any adjustments to make it possible or is this supported using a virigin board?Could you provide a simple guide/walkthrough how to accomplish this?In the future I plan to use STM32L4R9ZI coupled with an RS-485 transciever without the evaluation board and I want to experiment and test RS-485 reprogramming prior to that.

Hi Community.I am Running a code which takes two adc values to generate duty  and one timer for PWM generation. Elaborately i am running an MPPT code by taking voltage and current from PV panel which is read by PA0 and PA1 of STM32F446re micro controller in DMA mode which the output will be duty from the MPPT code.Now i just want to generate PWM from correspond duty which is from MPPT code. i have taken Timer 1 CH1 for this to get the PWM. is this correct way to generate pwm from duty.if not please suggest me how to generate pwm from duty with the help of timer?is my approach is correct .i have given my code here below.please let me know if there are any changes is required CODE is attached in the pdf document.

I have chosen the STM32H743 as the custom hardware chip to manage real-time applications, including displaying analog ECG data on a 1080x600 DWIN display with CTP and using a 24V thermal printer for printing. I need reference schematics for using SDRAM, Q-SPI, and the 208 LQFP package. Can I adapt the STM32H7-EVAL schematic files for our application by following the same connections? We will implement power sources as required, such as 12V, 24V, and 3.3V for the MCU..I noticed in the EVL-SCH that SDRAM, NOR flash, and SRAM are connected to D[0..31]. I'm unsure why they are connected this way, and I'm wondering if I need to use these memory components as they are not present on discovery boards (specifically NOR flash and SRAM)

Hi, looking at the scheme it seems possible to power the board by providing an external 5V supply on the 5V Arduino PIN (CN5, pin 5, which is the output of the linear regulator feeded by V_IN), and removing all the jumpers on the CN1. Is it correct? Moreover, I could put the the jumper on the USB position in order to power the USB port from the provided 5V.Is it correct? Many Thanks

Hello,I have programmed one of the advanced timers in up/down mode and I have used one of the compare units to generate a PWM signal.I would also like to generate an interrupt on compare events, but only on the falling edges.Is it possible to specify the edge directon when enabling the compare event interrupt?Or I have to distingush the edge direction only after the interrupt has been triggered on compare event, by checking the counter direction?Thank you,Carlo

Hello, I'm using the nucleo-h743zi2 board.When obtaining the value of TIM2->CNT (or TIM5->CNT) through the combined channels of TIM2 or TIM5 on this board, without any special settings, I can perceive the encoder rotating in reverse as a negative value as it passes through 0. (For example, with a Counter Period set to 1000, rotating in the negative direction would result in 0, -1, -2, -3, etc.)However, when obtaining encoder values from other General Purpose Timers, it doesn't result in negative values but instead jumps to the maximum positive value. (For example, with a Counter Period set to 1000, rotating in the negative direction would result in 0, 1000, 999, 998, etc.)Is it possible to obtain negative values in this situation through settings?The difference I found between these two timers is that the counter resolution is 32-bit, whereas in other General Purpose Timers, it's 16-bit. Thank y

I can not connect my STM32H735G board via ST-Link anymore. "no stm32 target found". I tried "connect under reset" (ST Link Utility and ST programmer) as well as connecting boot0 to VDD. Any idea how to erase the flash and start over? Cheers Stefan
