STM32 MCUs Products

HiWe have designed a board that we used STM32F103ZGT6.We have used FSMC with following specifications- On NE1 - NOR FLASH (M29W640GT)- On NE2 - SRAM (Renesas RMLV1616 series)Everything is clear and normal for SRAM. We can read&write successfully.But We could not access to flash memory.We have tested 5 different boardWhat is wrong?Is there any problem to use both SRAM and NOR flash in same project?    

I work on a project with the STM32G0 and one difference between the F0 series is, that the UART has a clock prescaler. The maximum UART peripheral clock (usart_ker_ck) is 64 MHz (max of SYSCLK and PCLK) and this clock can be prescaled with PRESC -> usart_ker_ck_pres = usart_ker_ck / PRESC. PRESC can be 2^x ( 0<=x<=8). The minimum USARTDIV value is 16. Due to oversampling, there are two different calculations for the baudrate, but I will talk only about the 16 bit oversampling, since it will produce smaller baudrates.baudrate = usart_ker_ck_pres / USARTDIV = usart_ker_ck / (PRESC * USARTDIV) USARTDIV can be 2^16 - 1 resulting in a minum baudrate of 3.8!Without the prescaler (PRESC=1) the minimum baudrate is 976.5! My question is, am I right with all that I stated here, and was the prescaler only implemented for baudrates smaller than 976.5 or am I missing something? I have build a code of Mcu driver for STM32F407 DISCOVERY board. During Flashing my HSE or HSI works fine but PLL doesn't works on. I will attach the the mcu.c and mai.c file for your reference. Kindly have a look into this help me out.

This is on a STM32H723ZGT6 Ok for testing i went to a blank project with only the usb turned on. Set asUSB OTG HSDEVICE ONLYHIDUsing the defaults for everything. With no optimization it works and shows up correctly. With any kind of optimization turned on it wont show up in device manager but i can see in "USB DEVICE VIEWER" tool that its being seen by the computer, everything is read correctly but it has the error "*!*ERROR: No open pipes!" and it has 0 listed for open pipes. Maybe a bad assumption but I would assume with it working correctly with no optimization and then not working with optimization that this is not a physical issue but more of the compiler doing something weird? Sometimes i also get a "low power" error as well to the no pipes but i always get the no pipes error. Any thoughts, ideas or rabbit trails for me to go down would be much appreciated as

I am using NUCLEO STM32F103RB to learn CAN communication. In CubeMX, PB8 and PB9 were set to CAN_RX and CAN_TX, the baud rate is 500kbps, standard frame, and in Loopback mode. Greetings,I am trying to set TIM16 on 1us period but the smallest period I am able to achieve is 4us here is the values of my prescaler and auto-reload register(ARR). I am working with the HAL.SysClk = 170MHzPSC = 16 (+1 will be added) ARR = 9 (+1 will be added) So the counter period is: SysClk/(PSC + 1)(ARR+1)  => 170Mhz/(16+1)(9+1) = 1MhzI am expected to be at the callback (HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback) function at this frequency but instead I am at 250KhzI am pretty sure this timer should be able to go to 1us period and even smaller than that. What am I doing wrong????

Hi. I am working with STM32G473 for a safety application. I cant find a reference to how the soft errors are handled by the MCU especially for the flash. Also where could I find Soft error rates for this particular MCU? Thanks.

I am unable to switch on the AUTOFF bit in ADC4.DS reads about ADC_PWRR/AUTOFF: The software is allowed to write this bit only when ADEN bit is cleared to 0 (this ensures that no conversion is ongoing).But if this bit is set, the ADC doesn't set ADRDY flag if enabled. LL_ADC_SetLPModeAutoPowerOff(ADC4, LL_ADC_LP_AUTOPOWEROFF_ENABLE);LL_ADC_ClearFlag_ADRDY(ADC4);LL_ADC_Enable(ADC4);while(!LL_ADC_IsActiveFlag_ADRDY(ADC4)) {}   // here waits forever If I omit the ADRDY check and simply wait some time and then I start the conversion, the ADC works and converts inputs correctly. If I omit the AUTOFF setting, the code works ok. If I try to set the bit after enable, the bit remain unchanged (acording to DS)..My question is: How to set the AUTOFF bit? Isn't it a bug in silicon?        

Hi i m currently coding standby mode to conserve battery energy a application, i know its the lowest current consumption, what and when to use the 3 modes? which mode should i use if i wana save battery life yet i still want SPI DMA to transfer in the background?

Hello,I am currently working on a project where we have daisy chained the 5 Pin JTAG of STM32F446ZEJ6 with a TI microprocessor AM24x series. My question is that is there a way I can get a configuration file for the STM32 to create a new custom configuration that I can use to debug the whole link using an IDE like CCS or IAR. Currently, I add a dummy ARM M4f core and bypass the same just so that the debugger is aware that it is expecting another core in the line, the solution is not able to connect the to TI's R5F cores.Side Note: The JTAG scan integrity test is working successfully as it is able to rotate the TDI and TDO bits through both the controllers, it is further IDE based debug is what is failing to connect to the cores and after digging a little more I understood that I need to create a custom target configuration for this work as expected.Any leads over here will help.Thanks,Dhruvil

Hello,I'm using a STM32F303RE to create the PWM signals.I need to have 3 PWM signals plus their complementary outputs with same pulsewidth and a phaseshift of 120° between them, see picture below.Hands-On with STM32 Timers: Internal Triggering System, three timers are used via master-slave mode to get this done.How  to create these three signals with one Timer, for example TIM1 and use CH1-CH3 and their complementary outputs?Thanks!

I've done a long search on the Internet but only found the migrated STM32F103 to the STM32F4 series, not vice-versa. So I'm asking anyone who can help me. Hi, We want to use now the STM32H5 for future projects. In the past, we used STM32F4 with enabled SWO for debugging. Is there any example available to get this feature working for STM32H503? We are using STM32F373VCT6 Microcontroller for our application and we want to use an External Flash Memory of 1MB with this controller. Can you suggest some NAND/NOR Flash memory of 1MB, that supports SPI/QSPI and is compatible with this controller and driver IC's.

Heyho FLASH experts!within the last few weeks I was able to get an ethernet bootloader running on a H735 discovery kit.Internal flash is partitioned into area starting with the bootloader (256kB, including ETH), then comes the application (rest: 768kB).No OS, (almost) no HAL. A kind of state machine / simple task scheduler is used in main.Bootloader (BL) and application offer STM32*.bin File download via http POST into HyperRAM, file gets checked there, then written into (octal) SPI flash.Then from app jump to BL is possible, or BL finds new file in flash at next start and updates the internal app flash from SPI flash, checks and jumps into app.So far so good, everything's working smoothly.Here comes the BUT...I had the idea that the app should be able to update the bootloader, so I use the same internal flash write functions and flash write state machine as I use in the bootloader.As soon as the app starts writing internal

I have a custom PCB based on STM32F767 which has been working for about 2-3 weeks, through about 100 re-programming cycles (doing debugging). Now, after last attempt to flash, the NRST pin is "stuck" to VSS. I lifted the pin of the trace, e.g. NRST pin of MCU is now not connected to anything on the PCB anymore. The PCB's NRST trace is measured to 3.3V, while the NRST pin of the MCU (no longer connected to anything) is now 0V.  If I measure resistance between NRST pin on MCU and VSS pins (connected to GND) i get ~0.5 ohm (probably not accurate reading, but lets call it "low ohmic resistance").  Since the NRST pin is free floating (literally up in the air, off the PCB), and still measured at 0V wrt VSS, it seems the MCU's internal NRST mechanism is now fused to VSS?This is the second identical board this happened to. The previous board also functioned for weeks, before breaking in exact same way. I suspect it

Where can I find the DSP library for the STMF7 processors? In the CMSIS DSP Software Library documentation I read that I can use the arm_cortexM7lfsp_math.lib (Little endian and Single Precision Floating Point Unit on Cortex-M7). On the website of ST (https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stm32-standard-peripheral-libraries.html?querycriteria=productId=LN1939) it only goes up to F4.
