Dear all,I am writing a bootloader and I experienced that the calculated CRC on the binary is different If I load the fw with cube IDE versus cube programmer. I use STM32F405.This happens too if I make the compairement on the bootloader programme too.The difference is present on 8 bytes after the interrupt vector table.For example in this case: (based on the .map file's information) - the bootloader programme starts at 0x800.0000 and- the .isr_vector is 392 byte length which is 0x188.   - the .text region starts at 0x800.0190- So memory 0x800.0188-0x800.018F is unused if i seems well.I attach the screenshots of these compairements in cube programmer.The difference is independent of whether I compare the mcu with the .elf or the .bin file.If I load the programme with the cube programmer, the difference disappears.I do not know why there is the difference

On the H743VIT6 I am seeing a strong spike on the VDDA line every time the 32 samples are completed and DMA triggers to copy them to memory.This is causes the samples to have a 1500 Hz signal with 4 harmonics in the data.The board is 4-layer, solid ground plane, good decoupling, 0.1u and 2.2u on the VDDA pin, plus ferrite bead and own LDO regulator.Sampling at 384 KHz works very well apart from the spikes appearing on the FFT around DC zero at exactly the completion frequency every 32 samples.Oversampling is enabled.Any expert advice would be welcome.

After writing some code for PLC01A1 and STM32 F446RE, I'm trying to port it on my F767ZI.PLC Board uses SPI PA5, PA6 and PA7 for CLK, MISO and MOSI, and F4 & F7 have the same pinout.  When the MCU goes into stop mode 2, the VREFINT keeps drawing current. Is there a control register to turn off VREFINT when the MCU goes into stop mode 2  

Hi all, I tried to configure the clock to run at 32MHz and I was using Systick to toggle the LED every 1 Sec by configuring the Systick reload value by 32Mhz -1. But, Somehow toggling is not happening for exactly 1 sec I also used a logic analyzer to check the period and it was not 1 sec. I use STM32F407 USB2.0 HS to send data periodically. The USB mode is high-speed mode. I configure the breakpoint IN transmission as the interrupt transmission mode. I use CDC_Transmit to send data. Each time it is judged that the last transmission is completed before sending data, and the time of interrupting the transmission is The interval is 1ms. I built a FIFO for the USB packet. The rate of USB packet generation is 2ms. I measured the time interval for each write and send data to USB and found that the maximum time interval will increase as the measurement time increases. Generally, the maximum interval for half an hour is 100ms, and for one hour it will be around 180ms. Our host computer is written in python, using the libusb library, and runs on the Windows 11 operating system. Can you guys see what the problem is?

Hello,I have a strange problem that I already lost a lot of hair over. I am using cubeIDE with an stlink v2 (STM32G441 with a blank C/C++ project and CMSIS). All run very well until today. So I am sure the code itself is ok.If I compile the project bin and elf files are generated. If I flash the generated files from the release folder with cubeProgrammer the program does not run. If I choose the run setting directly in cubeIDE the program runs fine. If I then read out the flash with cubeProgrammer the bin file is different from the one that was compiled in the release folder. So cubeIDE is running a different bin file than the one it generates in the release folder. How can that be? What am I missing here? This started out of nowhere. I can not recall changing anything other than the code itself. But of course I must have botched something up. Hi 'I am using STM32 Nulceo Board Nucleo-F070RB .I tried some projects but the output of the project is not as expected ,shows some wrong calculation out .So I checked everything ,And found out the Crystal frequancy is not correct .I checked the Master Clock Output But here i am not getting the clock frequency ,May i get the accurate frequency there ?I  tried the internal HSI also But nothing gain  When I select HSI is 8MHZ i am getting in MCO out is 1.724KHz  is it board problem ?what wrong i am with ,   please help me

Posted on December 28, 2016 at 04:46hi, i working on ADC of stm32f0 by using HAL library . for reading value of ADC i have to start and stop   ADC.but the adc start function 'HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc);' and stop function'HAL_ADC_Stop(&hadc);'take execution time. Due to this execution time delay is generated. So overcome this delay there are any specificregister that can set/reset . so less time for execution.i am new in stm32f0.thank you please help me

Hi sir,I ask a question about optionbytes nBFB2 of STM32L151VE.I checked User Manual and wanted to confirm some information about nBFB2.1) Option byte register (FLASH_OBR) : bit nBFB2 default value = 1 , see attached file optionbytes_1.png2) Option byte memory address 0x1FF8 0004H : read bit7 = BFB2 value, but there is no default value describtion about this bit.My question: 1) Which default value is nBFB2 ? 0 or 1 ? 2) If user read address 0x1FF8 0004H to get bit7(nBFB2) = 0, then try to write 1 using FLASH_OB_BORConfig(), MCU should does a reset behavior , right?After MCU reset, then read this address again, user should get bit7(nBFB2) = 1, then code execute users app code.Is my understanding right or not? I have a custom board using the STM32L562Q BGA package processor.  I have a high speed capable eMMC part with an 8-bit data interface. The STM Cube generated code seems to be correctly beginning the init and ID process, however after the 3 different settings are attempted the code error exits with return code 4.  This is the part of the 1-bit boot sequence where code is trying to identify voltage and high capacity or low capacity card. Do you have reference code for this specific part or something that complies with the 5.1 eMMC specification?  In theory these are all backward compatible, but these newer cards has lots of useful features. The design also include a Linear Tech triple supply so VCC to this part is independently controlled.  It also has  a hard reset.  So power is applied and we wait for pgood, we toggle and wait the appropriate period on the init signal.  Then the normal eMMC init is kicked off. Hi, Thew board was working fine until i tried to get serial working over virtual COM. I'm not sure what ive done but now im receiving this messageError in final launch sequence: Failed to execute MI command: load C:\\Users\\Ki\\STM32CubeIDE\\workspace_H503\\blink\\Debug\\blink.elf Error message from debugger back end: Error finishing flash operationIs there a way to reset the board? or have I bricked it. It still talks to the link utility in the IDE and says it needed an update which completed successfully.Sorry Im a bit lost and would appreciate some guidance. I can provide more info if neededThanks in advance

I've been testing the ADC_RESOLUTION_14B_OPT mode of the H743VIT6 ADCs but I cannot see any changes at all, not reduced power or noise.Searching ADC_RESOLUTION_14B_OPT lists nothing.Does this mode actually do anything?
