Hello Guys,I am new to STM and USB HS but have some experience with PICs and other AVRs. I've designed my own custom board (for a keyboard). So after I generated the USB HID code with STM32cube IDE, I successfully downloaded it to the STM, however, nothing happens. No USB device is detected by the host (PC).Am I missing something? Do I have to program somehow the USB3343? Is there anything I have to add to my code to use ULPI?Is it the known bug with STM32f405 and USB3300? (clock configs should be good, same with layout, soldering etc..)I haven't right now an osci acessible... However during debugging all the USB regs. seemed to be 0.Anyone expereince with STM and ULPI?Thank's!

Hi all, I'm working on the NOR Flash via OSPI(using as QSPI) with the STM32U585 board. implementing this via filex and levelx, i have done all the configuration referring to the example provided by ST with the minor changes. This morning I got an email from ST which included a section on using VS Code to target STM32 CubeMX projects.This appeals to me since the STM32CubeIDE is seriously lacking in focus from ST. It has looooooong standing bugs which no-one cares about, but which many people have reported and complained about. It gets very little attention from ST, presumably because they're going to kill it off and move everyone to VS Code.So I watch the video and decided to give CubeMX integration with VS Code a try. Doing so I realise I need to have CubeMX for Mac installed as it needs an "absolute path to executable". So I find the page to download that for macOS only to find the page doesn't load the "get software" section. Doesn't matter whether you log-in or not, that section won't load. I've tried several different browsers too.Honestly it is ALWAYS like this when dealing with ST Software - full of bugs and frustrations that never get addressed. 

Hello,I need very simple communication of my STM32F722RET6 via USB (Full Speed) - I need to send every 10 ms only data of 20 bytes to some program made by C# in Visual Studio. I found some samples of USB communication on GitHub but I was not able to communicate (in best case without making some special drivers) with C# program. Only VCP worked but the program was in contiuous cycle to read COM port. Please can you advice me where I can find some working sample of connection STM32 and program via USB?Thank you

It happens when usec timer counter wraps around:34.995010

The AN2606 manual does not describe which pins of STM32H503EBY UART1 uses.STM32H503EBY have WLCS25 package, but i found information only for others packagesOn SO8, WLCSP18, TSSOP20, and UFQFN28 packages USART1 PA9/PA10 IOs areremapped on PA11/PA12.Could you tell me which pins shoud be use with WLCS25 ? 

Hi,I'm working on a project using stm32f746 and touchGFX. I need to store some data into flash and change it when I desire for that, I guess I have to erase the whole sector, which I don't want because I have some data in every sector. I use 85% flash for now. So is there any way to delete specific memory before writing?

I am sending multiple bytes in spi protocol. The sender is sending properly through AARDWARK(Total Phase Control)Software. But only the odd number of bytes are received and the receiving is not proper using these HAL_Functions. Let me start by saying:Yes I know the STM32 Finder exists, no it doesn't help me find what I needYes I've seen this thread but I do not want to get into manually coding a script to try and find parts if I can avoid itYes I have used the CubeMX and no it can't filter for this requirementBasically I'm after an STM32 that will allow me to interface the maximum number of rotary encoders possible into timer inputs (no I do not want to bit-bang it).That's it - any suggestions welcome!

As i am using inside comparators. For that i can see below available options for reference voltages. My question is about DAC output can it be set internally or i have to make physical connection by DAC out put pin to comparator input  

Hello everyone,  I have been trying to run a simple LWIP application on my STM32 F429ZI board. I can see the LED green and orange of the Ethernet jack (CN14) are on which indicates the link is up and running. but no luck with pinging the board from my windows command prompt. I have tried different things,first I configured the project and the board using STM32CubeMX version 6.11.0 firmware: 1.11.2Lwip Version : 2.1.2then I found this project GitHub - mirzafahad/nucleo_stm32f429zi_lwip_examples: TCP and UDP Echo Client Example using LwIP Stack (RAW API) for Nucleo-F429ZI  and still the same, cant ping the board,note that jumpers JP6 and JP7 are both on. I even tried two different boards in case one

NUCELO-F429ZI Encountered a issue.When i connect a USB ,it is showing like FAIL and a message is shown on the screen likeThe interface firmware FAILED to reset/halt the target MCU.Can any one let me know what is the reason for this and solution for this.

I have been developing a system using an SMT32L476 but it is only rated to 125C .I'm looking for a temperature range of 150C .  Its is desing into a piece of test equipment that goes within a thermal Chamber and cna overshoot ot 130-50 before settling at 125C Anyone any idea what STM have that has similar functionality to the above ?Thanks 

Hi,We have a customer board with STM32H735 and OctoSPI flash in memory mapped mode.Memory is used for TouchGfx elements and as external code memory.Now we should add a simple file system for saving some data on the board.Is it possible to use a file system (read/write access) on a OSPI flash in memory mapped mode.Due to AN5050 and other resources i would say its not possible.Can someone confirm to me if this is the case or if there is a way to solve this.

I am working off of the example I3C ENTDAA CMD for the STM32H5 series to initialize a slave device. I am stuck in a wierd phenomenon that once CCC CMD triggered and then after more than 300 mS, the I3C function is dead. The test setting as below, The CCC  command put in a while-loop, and measured the waveforms by LA.Another tricky phenomenon that there is a HAL_Delay put in the front of the I3C CCC command and the I3C SDA and SCL not launch the signals.Is there something else that could be causing this? And how to solve the error? Thanks.

Hello! I set my H563ZI I3C to master and attach it to another I3C secondary master. Now i want to test GETACCCR CCC. The firmware "en.stm32cubeh5-v1-2-0" only has the case that slave request mastership from current master. I want to know how to send GETACCCR to secondary master so that i can give masetship to secondary master as MIPI I3C V1.1 said. Thanks!

A year ago I made an external flash loader and that works (https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32-external-loader/pull/13). I now ported the loader to the STM32H735IG. I use a serial port to print debug messages at certain points. While the flash loader works I do get hardfaults(in the loader, not the application) under certain conditions:If I connect in STM32CubeProgrammer and then open memory viewer to 0x90000000 and then click disconnect. It doesn't occur when I did not open the memory viewer to 0x90000000 since that doesn't lead to an init of the loader. The flash loader will properly flash the internal and external flash and optionally runs the MCU. So it works, but I do see a hardfault error printed:Init()HardFault_HandlerCFSR = 0x00000000HFSR = 0x80000000DFSR = 0x0000000BMMFAR = 0x00000000BF

Hi,Developing software on STM32 MCUs - in the case STM32F3discovery.I am using rust and reasonably (no expert) used to developing and running code using the environment but I am unsure how to run the code outside of the debugger.I build a release version and flash but it never seems to be running.My scope is not near my desk so it is quite inconvenient to stretch this across the house, not to mention the wife :)What am I doing wrong.What I am doing generally is cargo run --release --bin mybincargo flash --release --bin mybin --chip stm32f303vctxI am sure this is very obvious and people are saying "got a right one here" but hey I have a free day tomorrow from work and chores and would be great to be able to focusThanks,
