Hi all,   I used the same setting and the same software, keil uVision5. The only different is use my own board rather than EVB, STM32F769I-EVAL. BTW, I use my own board and STM32 ST-Link utility. Sometimes I can successfully go to debug mode, but sometimes I can't.   My question is why keil uVision5 shows 'Error: Flash Download failed - ''Cortex-M7'''.   I had erased first then rebuild finished, the next step is starting debug session. Unlucky, it shows error.   May need your support on this issue, thank you.

Hi, The propagation delay and offset error mentioned below for integgrated comparator. Can it be changed at higher temperature at 125 Deg c. So what will drift in propagation delay and drifts of comparator value at higher temperature lets say at 125 Deg C or at higher temperature.  Also the DAC settling time can be changes w.r.t. temperature if yes then what is the drift in that case?   Thanks     

I want to know the difference of the below 4 cases. Why the results are not as expected. HiI successfully got USB DFU bootloader running based on this video.But one question: why is FLASH_PROGRAM_TIME 50 ms?How is this value dervied? What is the minimum possible value?Thx.

Hi,I'd like to have a 2kHz clock source on PC9, I was wondering if I can use TIM3_CH4 or TIM8_CH4 to do it. May you please help me to figure out it? My question is how to generate a 2 kHz clock on PC9 if I would like to use TIM3_CH4 or TIM8_CH4? However, I can generate a clock with MCO2 function on PC9. I have a very strange behaviour when using the (on-board) ST-Link debugger on the STM32G0B1 Nucleo board using the Flash Programming example contained in the STMCubeG0 package (v1.5.0).I use Keil MDK IDE v5.36, CMSIS- & STM32G0 device support packages are up to date.Case #1:I download the program directly (no debugging) and it *ALWAYS* works as expected(=> LED pattern indicates success of erase, program & verify procedure).Case #2:I start a debug session and run the target, after the debugger automatically has ran to the main function.After running the target, I noticed different behaviours:a) Sometimes, after a few seconds, the debug session is terminated with an error message(Cannot access target. Shutting down debug session.)b) The application works as expected (erasing, programming & verify succeeded).Update to case 2:It looks like the debug session termination

Hey Everyone,  I am having an issue with the stm32h755 dual debugging. Im trying to run cm4 by itself without cm7. But the issue im having is, whenever I reset the MCU and check the SPI lines, I see a clock running. When I debug just cm4, I do not see the SPI clock at all. As if my Cm4 is not running on its own properly.  Is there a way I can debug just the cm4 inside the stm32h755? I did follow guides online, I have halt all cores unchecked, I setup the flashing correctly as well.

Hello!I'm using Comparator 1 in the STM32f071rbt6 uC. The Comp  is properly configured, and sends an interrupt once triggered on PA1 referenced to PA4(DAC_OUT_1).it happened that the PA1 GPIO accidentally was not configured. Yet the comparator functionality still works. Is this somehow possible? As far as I know GPIOs are configured as input float and for the COMP1 it need to be alternative function in order to be connected. Any idea why this works? Thanks and have a great day!

I am trying to install STM-Studio, and during the installation process, it tells me that I need to install JRE version 7 or later. I've installed JRE 10, (If I wanted to install JRE 7 I had to go through the archive and it asked me to create and account with Oracle) but continue to get this message and cannot process with the installation. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Good day I am sending a CAN message from a STM32F042. The first two bytes are the value read from an ADC split into 2 bytes. Then just for testing I set 4 bytes to "F042" which is then a fixed value that i know its sending what I ask. The problem I have is no matter how i format the ADC value its never correct on the CAN BUS even though my RxData that i pass to can shows it is correct. Any value that I put into RxData that is fixed such as the F042 is always correct. I believe based on on the fact that I can fill all 8 bytes with fixed data like F042 and it always transmits as recieves correctly that my harware is good (My harness, a twisted pair cable with 120ohm termination, and both boards), for me that means it must be something in code of the F042 is going wrong. - STM32G071R8T6, DMA chan 1 ADC's, DMA chan 2 SPI TX, DMA chan 3 SPI RX and DMA chan 4 DAC- Tested the SPI configuration without the DMA to a SPI EEPROM and it works.    Once the DMA configuration was used, we do not see any data being transmitted.     The initial DMA based communication to the EEPROM is a read command, address and then 0x55 data so that we clock the EEPROMs response back. The Chip Select to the EEPROM is done manually. Because the initial testing done wrote directly to the SPI registers, it seems like something in the configuration of DMA to SPI is not correct. We have used the STM32Cube Repository version STM32Cube_FW_G0_V1.6.1 for Low Level examples but the DMA and SPI are not tired together for the G071(they have HAL based.)- If we remove the call to LL_DMAMUX_SetRequestID(), which is needed because the G071 has a DMA mux, we will receive a DMA1_Channel2_3_IRQHandler interrupt after the TX DMA is tri

I'm planning a new device and wish to use an STM32U5 series processor.We would like to reuse an existing display.  However, this has a QSPI interface (at 50MHz).Is it possible to use one of the Octal-SPI interfaces on the STM32U5 series for driving a display?  I could not find any documentation explicitly discussing this.Specifically I was looking at the STM32U585Thanks!

i have an SPH18R1LM4H-1 audio sensor developed by Knowles company,  you can also check this on their site and datasheet. it needs an clock frequency of 2.4Mhz. Means when we input the clock frequency , the audio sensor then generate an data according to human voice. This SPH18R1LM4H-1 have four pins. data pin, clock pin, power supply pin and select pin which is NOT connected when you used single sensor. This sensor have DAC which internally converts the analog signal to digital signal. i want to read that digital signal with the help of STM32F407G board. This SPH18R1LM4H-1 is PDM microphone. how i can do that ? please explain in details and along with code would be beneficial for me. According to me, first we have to input the clock frequency of 2.4MHZ to SPH18R1LM4H-1 with the help of any Gpio pin of STM32F407G board. HiI got this problem where I got an MCP2515 that wants an ISP type signal, and then converts it to CAN. I am only familier with the CAN protocol and the HAL library, so is there an easy way to make the STM32 convert the code from CAN to ISP?

The STM32 families typically use Quad-SPI for executable external flash, from my research (ref)But the only H-Series options with Quad-SPI are expensive! Are there any alternative methods to executable external program space?   

We have product that runs on two AAA batteries based on STM32L010K8 and according documentation this product should consume around 26uA when in low power run mode(32Khz clock source).Measurement showed that micro consumes around 90uA which is unacceptable due to battery life.We tried to turn of Vrefint using HAL_PWREx_EnableUltraLowPower(); in test part in code and indeed current consumption is lowered to around 50uA. Problem is that we want this scenario:In low power run mode keep track of the time and each minute:1)turn ON Vrefint2)Turn on ADC3) make measurement of power supply and two other adc channels. 4) turn OFF Vrefint5) turn OFF ADC.Problem is that there is some hidden dependency and functionHAL_PWREx_EnableUltraLowPower() does not turn off Vrefint and current consumption stays at 90uA.Could you please propose solution how to lower current consumption and find the culprit why

After trying the sample code from STM32Cube_FW_L4_V1.18.0 for octo spi I getting stuck on HAL_OSPI_AutoPolling(hospi, &sConfig, HAL_OSPI_TIMEOUT_DEFAULT_VALUE); it is not working, after reading posts and STM32L4Rxxx and STM32L4Sxxx device errata I found information that: "Auto-polling mode not functional with new octal memories" any idea how to work around it or fix ? the sample code does not work, I cannot test OSPI.

Posted on May 09, 2018 at 22:36I am using STM32L051 mcu. The mcu goes to STOP mode after initialization and only wakes up if there is any incoming byte at USART1. MCU wakes up with START_BIT_DETECTION on USART1 and goes back to sleep after it receives a byte. Everything works fine.The problem occurs when I receive a frame error. The other device that is connected with the USART1 sometimes holding the Rx Bus low which leads to a frame error. If I get a frame error I cleared the Frame Error bit, read the byte anynway and go back to STOP mode. But after that no other USART byte can wake up the MCU.I tried to debug through line by line. Interestingly, when I enable debug I don't have that problem. Maybe that's because I set DBGMCU->CR's  DBGMCU_CR_DBG_STOP bit.So, I am out of ideas why it doesn't wake up after frame error. Any hint, idea, direction would be much appreciated.#stop-mode #stm32l0-uart

Greetings! We have custom board based on STM32F745VGT6 having Ethernet peripheral over RMII mode.Previously with the older version of Cube MX and Library our Ethernet was working, after the new update of library there are some major changes in the library and now it is not working i.e. we are unable to ping the board. We tried to follow the example of H7 but there was not positive result. If someone has working example or has reference for F7 it would be grateful. If something from out project is required (configuration), please do let me know. Regards,Tirthraj Solanki
