In the RM the section on the hardware oversampling "25.4.31 Oversampler" is quite brief in it's explication, it states that "There are no changes for conversion timings in oversampled mode: the sample time is maintained equal during the whole oversampling sequence."So it can oversample from 2x to 1024x, and it does what?, it takes extra samples in the set sample time, so that if we set say hadc1.Init.Oversampling.Ratio = 2, then it takes 2 samples in ADC_SAMPLETIME_1CYCLE_5 sample time for example, so our sample time halves?So say the Ratio value is 2x, we set ADC_RIGHTBITSHIFT_1 to divide by 2.And for 3x... there is no divide by 3, so I guess this works in powers of 2, ie. 2, 4, 8, 16, 32.... this is not stated in the RM.Is this how it works?

Hi all, I tried to configure the clock to run at 32MHz and I was using Systick to toggle the LED every 1 Sec by configuring the Systick reload value by 32Mhz -1. But, Somehow toggling is not happening for exactly 1 sec, and also used a logic analyzer to check the period and it was not 1 sec. Somehow, I am not able to figure out the problem.I selected HSE(8MHz)  and PLL as a System clock. PLLM = 2,PLLN=16,PLLP=2. Hi,I am trying to interface FM18W08 FRAM from Cypress using FMSC in the STM32F303ZE board. I feel stuck as there are no good guides on how to interface. If anyone has previously done it, please let me know.I am mostly curious about the pin connection between MUC and FRAM and how to drive the F-RAM.If one has something similar please let me know. 

I am using micro switches in my system with the GPIO EXTI. I would like to detect only the press of the switch, but the interrupt was triggered on both press and release of the switch. The interrupts were even triggered twice on each press and release.Here is my configuration of the pin. PC9 on the STM32H563ZI board is used. Hello everyone, I am new to the world of STM32 and am trying to get a bit familiar with the topic. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with the code to read the UID from an NFC tag. The code itself has no errors and is uploaded to the microcontroller. Unfortunately, it doesn't work, and every time I hold my smartphone near it, the NFC passes the link from st.com. I previously tested this with the .bin file from the tutorial. Now the program only does that and not what it should. I am trying to get a SPI port up and running on an STM32H745BI chip but after configuring the port and starting the transmission I never see any signals on the pins and the port never gets an End Of Transmission (EOT) high signal. Startup code is listed below, it hangs while waiting for EOT. Relevant register values are in the attached image. Any ideas on why this code doesn't work? Hi,i am trying to investigate the behaviour of the ADC when measuring a value, where the ADC is triggered from a timer source.In the manual it states, that when the ADC is clocked from SYSCLK or PLL "P", then it would be faster, but when clocked from AHB clock, the timing would be more precise.I can only observe a speed difference of about 150ns, but not really a timing difference. Also the falling edge of the signal to be measured has a dip, whereas the rising edge has none. Green is the actuall signal that is measured. The yellow trace shows the testsignal from the interrupt, where the low time between the high pulses is proportional to the level of the signal. The red trace has no meaning.Anyone knows some details about this, or where i can have a read?

I am using two microcontrollers i.e., for transmitting data I have to use STM32F407VET6 and for receiving I have to use STM32F407VGT6 also I have to connect MCP2551 CAN Transceiver. I am transmitting data from one board and receiving data from another board through CAN Bus Protocol Communication. However, the data is not transmitted and received. I have properly checked the hardware connections and terminated the bus at both ends with 120-ohm resistors. Hello everyone,I have been using for a long time the stm32L496ZGT6 in a customized PCB with an uSD card module. Never had any problem interfacing the card. Due to the shortage of supply during the pandemic situation I bought a couple of stm32L552ZET6 that have the same pinout as the stm32L496.The problem now is that I cannot put the SD card working with the stm32L552. I am using the same SDMCC configurations of the stm32L4, but for some reason, it doesn't work with the stm32L5. The SD card never mounts successfully.

I bought a NUCLEO H755ZI board, but I can't make the LED connected to GPIOB pin 14 blink, neither with CMSIS nor with HAL, I saw some tutorials and questions here, but nothing solved it, thank you in advance for your help.

Hi, we see STM32H7 has Qspi errata as below: But we are not sure where to apply the patch exactly. It says "upon reset and upon switching from memory-mapped", mean in reset function, right after or before "HAL_QSPI_Init"?      

Hello , I want to make 4 channel PWM signal using TIM1 (with complimentory also)  .While the TIM1 is used to triger the ADC to get sample .I am getting the pwm wave , But  ADC is not triggering or not working . Hello,   I'm currently controlling a motor with the nucleo-h743zi2 board.   I'm sending commands to the motor driver via PWM and reading the encoder's values. I can currently send commands from a PC and receive encoder values through UART communication. When using UART communication, is there any control available for receiving both encoder values and other data like speed and control signals calculated on the board at the same time?   I want to plot graphs on the PC to easily monitor control performance. Is there any reference material that would be helpful for me?   And as I'm a beginner and have used UART communication, please let me know if there are any other methods available. Thank you in advance for any advice you can provide.

Hi there ! I start a project with STM32G031k8. This board i'm gonna make is  a RS485 slave on the pin 4-5-6-7 of GPIOA i put a dipswitch with pullup resistor , and i read in this way: uint16_t Add = ( 0x00F0 & GPIOA->IDR)>> 4 ;  right now my add is 5. My problem is sometime i don't read 5 but 1 ,  and if i don't turn off the power and turn on again i'm still to read 1 .  I hope some one can help me to understand where i make my mistake  Thank you Sergio

Hello,I'm facing a strange issue with the quadspi peripheral.I'm using it to interface with a W25q256jveiq, a quad spi enabled flash chip from Winbond.As long as I use one line SPI or dual I/O mode all works fine.I can access the flash chip with no issue at a 80 MHz clock speed.As soon as I switch to a quad I/O mode I'm facing a strange issue.A string signature is stored at address 0.The written signature is correct, I can read it properly in dual I/O mode.In quaq I/O modes the \r\n bytes in the string are not read properly but all other characters are.properly read.The alternate byte is properly set (it works fine in dual I/O mode).The dummy clock cycles are set according to the data sheet (may be I'm wrong about them, the main difference with dual I/O mode is that there's no dummy clock cycles in dual I/O mode).The command for dual I/O mode is:com.InstructionMode = QSPI_INSTRUCTION

Hello,I have an STM32F373 and have successfully enabled a USB virtual com port.I currently send data packets from a PC host to the slave device and include a 'deviceId' in the packet data header.I would  like to support the single PC host communicating with multiple slave devices.   There would be no more than 12 slave devices, and I would like to add new devices. I plan on enabling a USB virtual com port for each slave device, and have them ignore packets not addressed to their deviceId.  Each device would only send a response if the packet is addressed to it.  The single host would ensure it only attempts to communicate with 1 device at a time.  I recall seeing that STM32 allows the USB port to connect to multiple devices in this way. ( not sure though )  What is the best way to connect each slave device to the USB connection?  Should I just split the 2 USB input (DM,DP) and send them

早上好！ 在装机生产中STM32F103RCT6芯片能正常工作，成品机器交付客户使用后出现STM32F103RCT6芯片烧毁损坏的情况。成品机器与客户端通讯接口内信号线是直接连接芯片I/O口，客户端与成品机器联合使用，当成品机器出线异常（后排查为STM32F103RCT6芯片烧毁），客户端未出现芯片烧毁的情况。相关直连引脚为【PB3】&【PB4】，PB3做输出I/O量，PB4做输入I/O量。 请问该芯片烧毁的原因可能是哪些？

I am currently ramping up a new project which has a HyperRAM installed (S70KL1282 - like in the example project of STM32H735G). With the help of this sample project code I can successfully write and read with memory mapped mode from the 16 MB RAM - but not 100%.I implemented a test routine, which counts the read errors of faulty reads after writing a pattern to the RAM. I get between 15 and 40 faulty read accesses when checking the complete 16 MB Ram.I tried to change the initialisation parameters for the OctoSPI (clock prescaler, CS high time, recovery time etc. But this doesn't solve the problem.I tried "rewriting after faulty read" - which is however not a solution: After detecting a faulty read, rewriting the pattern and reading it again: returns correct readings. So the RAM seems to be working in general.Can anyone tell, which parameters might be responsible for the wrong writings/readings?Any suggestions wel

Hi, I am trying to do an application where I am using 2 PDM output digital MEMS microphones to get a stereo sound from them and then play it. My question is when I select I2S as Full-Duplex Master for STM32F407VG it only has 1 SD pin. Should connect both microphone's SD pins on this pin or what? Can anyone help me about how to connect two microphones to a single I2S peripheral?

Dear all,I've been wrestling with a communication glitch that's been causing me some serious headaches. Here's the lowdown: I've got this control board hooked up to a pump, and I've been trying to send commands to it via USART1 on my own STM32H735G-DK. The problem? It seems my board's only sending half the message, which is a major problem because those messages serve as commands for the pump.After some debugging, I've narrowed down the issue to my UART interrupt. I thought I'd solved the issue by disabling the interrupt, sending the data, and then re-enabling it once the message was fully sent. But alas, that meant losing crucial data coming back from the pump, which is just as vital as sending commands. So it's a classic catch-22 situation: sacrifice the first half of my Rx message to send data, or lose the second half of my Tx message to receive data. Sorry, I have another question to ask everyone. I'm currently using the Nucleo F429ZI with SPI interface to receive 12-bit encoded data from another ADC. The Vdrive of that ADC can provide 3.3V or 5V for driving. However, the high level of the STM32F429ZIT6 is 3.3V. If I want the SPI high level to be 5V, what methods can I use to achieve this? Originally, I was researching GPIO's Open Drain to use an external 5V to accomplish this, but in CubeIDE, the SPI is set to Push-Pull. So I would like to ask, when using STM32, how can I achieve a 5V high level if the SPI requires it?
