I'm having issues with using the SDK of ST25RU3993.  Specifically, while reading tags, I seem to get too much of a latency.I have went through the header files, but don't seem to find the appropriate variable.Currently each RFID scan takes about 24 seconds. That's a lot!Please let me know of anything that might be the cause. Thanks.

hi,I initialized string array with strings and type cast to uint32_t to store in flash memory as uint32_t. And then read the array as uint32_t. I update one of the string of the  array and type cast uint32_t to store that array in Flash memory back. But whenever I update string value and store on the flash memory. The string has strange characters on it. If you see the string that I am trying to store in string array "21.76".But in flash memory showing as "yyyy6.Its not storing properly.If you see the picture below in memory browser its showing as "yyyy6".

I am having issues with reading data from the SCD30 CO2 sensor. every byte of data I get back is 0xDD (or 221). I am still learning so my methods may be questionable. When I trigger a transmit of a test CAN message on CAN bus 2 the CAN module transmits unexpected data when I look at CAN bus with a logic analyzer. PCAN does receive the unexpected message and it does acknowledge the massage. Here is what I see on the CAN Bus.PCAN Receive:  

Hi,I'm trying to wakeup the mcu from data coming in FDCAN1 to FDCAN3. Is it possible?I know that with UART I can use this function : HAL_UARTEx_EnableStopMode().Is there a similar function to do the same thing?If i can't is it possible to make 2 pins from different port wakeup the mcu from the same EXTI ? I know it's 1 port (GPIOA, GPIOB, etc) for 1 EXTI. Is it possible to move the wanted pin on another available EXTI ? Thank you for you time!

The STM32G0 ADC calibration in Cube/HAL performs 8 iterations of the calibration process, each time reading out the calibration factor and accumulating it, then dividing by 8 (i.e. taking their average) and writing it back to the calibration factor holder register.Nothing like this is present in HAL/Cube of other STM32 where ADC incorporates an explicit calibration, e.g. STM32F1 or STM32L

I am having some issues with setting up the UART for my STM32F405RGT6. I have a custom PCB which has an CH340C (U7) serial chip and a USB-C (U1) port. See wiring diagram:I have set up my project in STM32CubeIDE and have connected to my MCU with a ST-LINK/V2 as of now. The problem is I cant find the Serial Port for my USB-C in the Device Manager. 

I would like use HRTIM timerA interruption event, so I where looking for the weak function to rewrite it but not found it.I found that I must set compilation flag USE_HAL_HRTIM_REGISTER_CALLBACKS to 1 and make all functions as weak. If I make so strong decision I disturb working that timer?, what is the way to set the compilation flag using cubeide?Is this the function that I must rewrite? void HRTIM1_TIMA_IRQHandler(void) { //USER CODE } or I must do this?: void HRTIM1_TIMA_IRQHandler(void) { //user code HAL_HRTIM_IRQHandler(&hhrtim1,HRTIM_TIMERINDEX_TIMER_A); }     

JEOC nor JEOS triggers an interrupt. I already made sure that the ADC and the interrupt itself are working. (Regular conversion start by software).Tried both trgo2 of timer and CC4 of timer to connect the adc with, which both did not work.CCR4 is smaller than ARR.I made sure that the registers were written like supposed. Hi all,i am facing issue with STM32F412's i2c. i am using i2c2 on PB9/PB10 pins. Two i2c slaves are connected on this bus. one is 24AA02E48 eeprom and second is M41T00S RTC.SDA is pulled up is 10K resistor and SCL is pulled up with 4.7K resistor.STM32F412 is working as i2c master.firmware is able to write data to eeprom and read time from RTC.but suddenly after a random time few minutes to hour , i2c stops to work i.e. HAL_I2C_Mem_Read and HAL_I2C_Mem_Write doesn't returns HAL_OK.at this time, i2c busy flag becomes set and SCL pin remains low (checked with oscilloscope).after getting the point that slave is keeping the SCL pin low., i tried below code. i made a change in code as if (HAL_I2C_Mem_Read() != HAL_OK ){HAL_I2C_DeInit(&hi2c2);MX_I2C2_Init();}

Hi everyone,Im using the stm32f429disc1 board with a lcd and Im trying to get the dma2d to blend images. But right now the alpha blending is giving me odd results. Here is a image: On the left is what is currently being drawn, and the right is the test image. When the image has all 255 alpha it draws fine, as shown by the brick pattern below, but any time I try with some alpha it does not draw correctly. Hi all,I use STM32-H503RB as the controller to test IBI function with I3C. After I3C initialization and configuration of the target, the target will be enabled to send IBI requests.I use  while (HAL_I3C_GetState(hi3c1) != HAL_I3C_STATE_READY)  to check if the transfer finished or not.However, once the device is enabled by setting a register and then starting to send IBI requests, I can not get I3C state anymore. HAL_I3C_GetState(hi3c1) can not get state ready signal even when the bus and the device are free. The program will be blocked in the while loop and can not go into the next step.Why I can not get the correct state signal after enabling the IBI?Any kind of help is appreciated. :)

Using Dual Bank for upgrade feature and the last 2K section of Flash is used to store configuration data.When the program is running in Bank1, reading and writing the configuration data work. But when the program is running in Bank2, Cannot write the flash configuration data correctly.

I'm tring implement IAP on NUCLEO-H745ZI-Q.So. I seen STM32h743-eval IAP Example.But I have two bank and two core for cm7 and cm4.I don't know how to implement the bootloader.And should I create and transfer bin files for cm4 and cm7 respectively?

Hi,Note: circuit diagram & schematic requested ,Preferably in altium designer(mjlrprecision@gmail.com)New to the electronics, doing small projects,For our project we made Free-fall detection board using STM32G030F6P6 & Lis2Dh, it is working fine detecting freefall & impact, Now we want to make another board having stm32 + lis2dh + ir proximity,  so that on fall downword lis2dh detect freefall first then the ir-proximity should measure the distance during the fall, after reaching 5m above the ground a sound (beep) needs to be activated.I hope you people got the general idea, cant discuss it further.Hope to get the help soon. Regards 

I'm looking for some instructions on how to develop firmware for the Portenta H7 using the Portenta Breakout Board with the STM32CubeIDE. Before ST Microelectronics comes back and says they can't help because the H7 is not their product, that is unacceptable. If this is the case, it may be time to look at other vendors (Nvidia). STM can only benefit from helping developers write software for the Portenta H7 using the STM32 suite of development tools.

I am using all of the pins of a STM32L471RE in a design.In manufacturing, there is the need to communicate with the MCU over UART (during Functional Testing (FCT)). The problem is that all the pins are taken, so there are no free UART ports available.One idea is to use 2 pins which are not needed during FCT, which have a UART port (UART4). However, these pins have pullup resistors and capacitors, due to their normal function. Shown below.My questions:Could the MCU's UART port still work with the capacitors and pullup resistors? Would the capacitors pull too much current during switching and damage the port? If this would work, what baud would you

@Alex - APMemory I am trying interface APS6408L on the B-U858I-IOT02A Discovery Kit in OSPI DTR memory mapped mode for both read and writes. The datasheet for APS6408L mentions that the page size for it is 1Kb.  In the memory mapped mode, is it possible to write in a chunk greater than 1Kb for the RAM? I am read this for the memory in the datasheet, "Burst Type & LengthRead and write operations are default Hybrid Wrap 32 mode. Other burst lengths of 16, 32, 64 or 1K bytes instandard or Hybrid wrap modes are register configurable(see Table 20). The device also includes command forLinear Bursting. Bursts can start on any even address. Write burst length has a minimum of 2 bytes. Read has nominimum length. Both write and read have no restriction on maximum burst length as long as tCEM is met."
