Under what conditions is the U5 website and datasheet claim "16.3 μA/MHz Run mode @ 3.3 V" reached? I do not see anything as low as that in the datasheet and it is far lower than e.g. the U0 claim "Run mode (LDO mode): 52 μA/MHz". Clarification welcome!

Hello, I would like to ask you as a beginner in STM32 what product (the best case is the product that is possible to buy with Nucleo kit) I should target to for the application I will describe here:I need to use two ADC channels with 1 MHz each and at least 10-bit range, save the value to some arrays (A[] and B[]) and every approx. 10ms make calculation:1) apply offset fo each value and make a multiplication of each record in new array C (int32), like C[x] = (A[x] - offsetA) * (B[x] - offsetB)2) calculate an average value for all arrays like avg(A), avg(B) and avg (C)3) every 10ms send the average data to some periphery like serial bus and save to external FRAM memory (in circle when full)I am now not sure how to make this but now I need maily chose the processor (best case with Nucleo kit available) that can work for my application.Thank you very much for help

Hi, I'm using STM32F767ZG on a development board (Fusion for STM32 V8 by Mikroelectronica).   My problem is that all ADCs will read 4095 for the first 2.3 seconds after power on. If I perform a reset on the uC, they read correctly from the first read. HiI'm trying to understand how to configure the hal/peripheral to evaluate the CRC32 MPEG2 over a block of datas.I'm comparing the result with this site where as input I've used the vector 0x01, 0x01. Looking at the FDCAN peripheral application note (AN5348), I don't see any mention of using the DMA. I'm interested in transmitting 30 8-byte messages every second via Classic-Can 2.0.   Since the peripheral's FIFO isn't that deep, I was thinking of either using the TX FIFO empty interrupt to trigger more pushing, OR (preferably)..have the DMA push the data to the FDCAN peripheral automatically without CPU intervention. Does the DMA controller support memory to FDCAN, or are there registers that the FDCAN needs configured for every transfer?

The file stm32f4xx_hal_def.h refers to stm32f4xx.h I can find this file in several Github repositories, but which is the official source for this file ?

Hello All, I Hope you are well.I am facing a problem that I spent A LOT of time on. I designed a custom board featuring the STM32F405RGT6 but i cannot connect to it at all.. I will attach the schematic and the board's pictures below. (The schematic is a PDF where I attached the sheet of the MCU's circuitry only there are other sheets for other parts of the board) Things to mention:1- I've assembled the board myself (But i checked the connectivity and voltages on the necessary nodes by a multimeter and i tested on the chip's pins not on the PCB pads and got the following:-VDD on all VDD pins are 3.31V (measured directly on the pins)-VDDA is also supplied by the same source with around 3.31V (measured directly on the pins)-Vcap1 and Vcap2 are both 1.26V (measured on the the two Caps of 2u2 value)-Reset Pin is 3.31V)2- I got suspicious about the SWD pinout that i did so i used an adapter and a Nucleo board's ST-L

Hello, community! I'm a new here .I am developing STM32F4 using STM32CubeIDE（1.14.1）, and I want to use the FileX without ThreadX.  However, it seems that this is not possible in CubeMX. The FileX for the F4 series requires ThreadX, and if ignored, the compiler will issue a large number of warnings and errors. However, the FileX for the H7 series can be used independently and build normally. I would like to know why?Where is the "FX_STANDALONE_ENABLE" ?  Is there any hardware or software limitation with the F4 series?Any solution to this problem?Thank you !F4

Hi, I work in the stm32h503rbt6 controller, I use an internal clock 64Mhz and developed the Flash driver on my own and also works well in multi-word write only, single word write is not working, it is not writing the data in Flash memory(in single word). Anyone, please help how to resolve it

Hi, I have an application where I need to send send signals to 8 stepper drivers on my STM32F407 Discovery board. Each stepper driver requires an independent PULSE, DIRECTION, and SLEEP signal. DIRECTION and SLEEP are trivial GPIOs high/low. I have used timers in the past to drive the PULSE pins for these stepper drivers with success.I am wondering if I can control all 8 independent PULSE pins with a single board. There are 8 timers on the STM32F4 . TIM2, TIM5 TIM9 and TIM14 are General-purpose timers and TIM1 and TIM8 are Advanced-control timers. I am confident I can drive 6 independent PULSE signals with these 6 timers. TIM6 and TIM7 are basic timers without input/output functionality. Is there is a way to drive two other pins with the basic timers 6 and 7 or is there another way to get up to 8 independent PULSE signals?

I'm attempting to wire a USB-C connector to the deluge of strangely named pins available on the STM32H7A3VIT6 (100pin LQFP).  Pin names STP, NXT, CK, D0 thru D6 are available on the H7A3 via CubeMX but I'm not able to find information on pin function in order to map to the wildly different USB-C pin names.   The schematic for the Nucleo board uses different port pins and pin names than come from CubeMX so not much help in decoding.    I sense that I'm missing an important special document on USB.   I have seen app notes on USB and STM but these are high level and mostly oriented to power and not data.1) I would be fine with device USB 2.0 HS connection (reduced set of pins) - which pins go where on the connector?2) is it mandatory to use a phy chip?  if so, which one corresponds to the STM32h7 pin names?3) is there a simple document that shows the wiring diagram for USB 2.0 and USB-C on the 100pin STM32H7A3?Thanks i

Hello,In my project I need to sample 3 phase current to see if where is short or not. I am using STM32H753 HRTIM. Not only that I must place sampling point as close to PWM transition from high to low as possible (peak current)I connected phase current measurement to ADC1, ADC2, and ADC3 thinking that I would simply use each ADC with DMA, so I would always have data ready in my HRTIM update interrupt.Problem is that only two channels are allowed to be regular (TRG1 and TRG3), and two must be injected (TRG2 and TRG4).

I have timer 1 to use with hall sensors as interfacing timer. Timer 8 is then used to output the signals (see picture red and blue).The simulated hallsignal (3 sensors combined) is very precise and pretty constant (green signal - second box)."A" shows the interrupt test signal from the input interrupt. "B" is the interrupt from CCR2 of timer 1 that does actually nothing, but shows where the output signals should change.The first box shows the interval between those 2 high levels of the outputs of timer 8.The delay from A to B is set to be constant. I have already came across the problem of resetting the counter and prescaler of timer 1, so that is not an issue anymore.What else would there be, that would cause such a fluctuation? Hello everyone!I'm working on a project where I want to transmit some data to the cloud using the STM32H7B3I-DK board. However, I've encountered difficulties in establishing serial communication with this board. I've tried enabling SPI communication and also enabling UART using available examples, but neither of these attempts were successful. Has anybody successfully established this serial communication and connection to WIFI? Is there any additional documentation or tips on how to do it?PS. I have simple code that calls HAL_UART_Transmit() function, the code executes but I couldn't see anything on Command Shell Console. I have set the baud rate of the port, UART and console to 115200 and set 8 data bits with odd parity.Thanks for your help!

Hi,I'm working on a hardware design using the STM32F765VIH and I am trying to connect a MT28EW128ABA1HPC-0SIT NOR Flash and IS66WVH16M8DBLL-100B1LI PSRAM to the FMC in muxed mode.
