STM32 MCUs Products

Folks, I started off with the H573i discovery board demo as reference for the MSC + SD card (with ThreadX). I don't have the Discovery board since in my application I needed those CC1, CC2 USBPD pins for something else.  So I ran a board of my own (using the H563ZIT6).  I'm using just micro-USB B connector, not USB-C.I set up the project in Cube and pulled in all the segments from the demo for H573I.But in CubeMX I have to disable the UCPD in order to get access the two pins I need.I just left the USB enabled.But it seems that there is no USB library setup properly if the UCPD is disabled.Can someone tell me how to get the demo from the H573 to work if the CC1, CC2 pins are disabled in Cube and assigned as GPIO? I don't have to have the ThreadX but figured it might be helpful as my product develops.  Thanks!J 

Hello,My final goal is to output two pulses from two separate pins, but not at the same time. My intention is to use TIM1 for my STM32F401RE board, as this is the only timer that allows me to set the repetition counter for the 'One Pulse Mode'. This works completely fine for one pin, but implementing the second one is where I struggle. Order of action is thought to be:1. The blue button is pressed which TI1FP1 is connected to with a wire to. Channel3 is triggered and pulses are sent out.2. Data is collected following and some computations are run.3. Channel4 is triggered after computations are done, probably through GPIO_SetPin() which is connected to TI1FP1 and pulses are sent out.I have developed my prototype for some months, but otherwise I'm new to the environment and hardware. The implementation is done through HAL and CubeIDE, which only allows me in the GUI to set one trigger source for one timer, but I'm wishing to utilise both TI

Hello,I would like to get free memory on USB drive (64GB, FAT32) with FatFs library. When I put BOOT0 to VCC, the Bootloader start and we can change the firmware but my system is on battery and I have no access to BOOT0 pin and RESET. I'm looking into creating a splashscreen and handling the uart responses. How can I wait for the input without consistently sending the response messaging. I have a STM32F405RGT6 on a custom PCB and are using a ST-Link/V2 ISOL in my computer. Hey, I have a problem with the callback for FDCAN1. I am sending frames through ucandevices converter but the callback for FIFO0 is not called. The frames are definitely arriving, I added a test FreeRTOS and a task to receive and send frames to CAN1 and it worked very well, frames were received and sent back to the bus.I have NVIC interrupts set up, I fiddled with the clock for CANFD and speeds, also with no effect.Is anyone able to help me?I am sending my project as an attachment

Hello,I am currently Using STM32F779NIH6 for one of our application prototypes. Currently the internal RAM size is 512KB and based on our evaluation, for certain peripherals we need a higher RAM size ( Atleast 2X or 3X). Can you suggest any Controller from the High performance MCU family which can satisfy this higher internal RAM requirement but at the same in pin to pin compatible ? Thanks,Siddharth

Hi everyoneI'm currently using the NUCLEO-F429ZI development board. I'm planning to create a PCB using the STM32F429ZIT6, but I've encountered some questions during the planning stage.According to the datasheet, HSE_OSC is specified to provide 8MHz, and CubeIDE also indicates "Input Freq HSE = 8MHz." However, on the NUCLEO-F429ZI development board, the JFVNY 25.000 oscillator supplies 25MHz. I have verified that the SPI clock indeed derives from multiplying and dividing an 8MHz source, but when I measure the JFVNY 25.000 oscillator on the development board, it does indeed supply 25MHz. Why are these two frequencies inconsistent, or am I misunderstanding something?Referring to the Clock tree and considering, if not using the RTC section, is it possible to omit providing the external LSE_OSE?

Hi,I have my master and slave applications running on NUCLEO-H563ZI Boards both of which normally receive/transmit  10 bytes of data in each SPI transfer. I use SPI in DMA mode.However, in one test case, master starts a SPI transaction for only 4 bytes i.e it calls HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA with Size as 4. So, my master sends clock for only 4 bytes even though the slave has 10 bytes of data. At this point, the Master receives 4 bytes but the HAL_SPI_TxRxCpltCallback on Slave is not called.I am doing a GPIO Pin toggle in the callback to denote completion of the SPI transfer which is necessary for my slave application. How do I abort the SPI communication in this scenario?I see there's a HAL_SPI_Abort_IT. Not sure how to use it. Appreciate if you would provide some insight on this.

I have set a time interrupt every 1ms and my goal is to send a package of data after each time interrupt (the data sent are consecutive numbers).As the code below shows, I am sending the variable "data" (array of values, e.g. 512). I'm trying to optimize the H743's hardware oversampling on ADC1 & 2 at 384KHz sampling rate, it reduces the noise but I'd like some advice on the settings.The H743 ref. manual state that the oversampling Ratio values are 0 - 1023, setting the number of additional oversamples, per sample, 0 = none, 1 = 1 extra sample (2 samples taken).Of course as the averaging is done by shifting, only power of 2 values would work:-2x(Ratio=1),4x(R=3),8x(R=7),16x(R=15),32x(..),64,128,256,512,1024,2048 which then requires -> ADC_RIGHTBITSHIFT_1, ..., ADC_RIGHTBITSHIFT_11.RightBitShift is the shift (division) required for averaging, binary, so stepping in power2, 1=div2, 2=div4, etc, 11 values allowed, so max. us 2^11 = 2048, in this case 1024 samples per sample!So Ratio cannot be any value from 1-1023, but only 1, 3, 7, 15, etc. Is that correct?Another consideration not covered in the STM manuals is the ADC clock frequency requi

Hi, I'm using  multi channels ADC3 of "STM32H735ZGT6" (3channels) I want to use these channels in parallel, but I've only found a way to convert in order in the Datasheet. I am working on stm32f439zi (nucleo) usb port with windows 11. After I enabled usb port functions on stm32cubeide, I got definition as followed for usb port:  when I connect device to windows 11 desktop. it looks like device use standard Microsoft usb port driver. So only it displays  "usb serial device(COM12)", is it possible to display different

hello everyone i am using stm32h7 MCU, i want averaged ADC data using  hardware over sampling. how can get this.

I am struggling to get USB CDC working. I am very far down a rabbit hole and I'm completely stuck.I am using HAL libraries for USB_OTG_HS on the STM32F746ZGT6, with a 16MHz HSE.I am running in bus powered mode, VBUS detect disabled, and I have hardwired an external D+ pullup, because I have not been able to get the internal pullup to activate. I know the hardwired pullup is not recommended, but I don't think that is what is causing my problems. Hello,I am experiencing the following problem. When I setup an ADC with DMA for 5 channels, occasionally I get lower readings than the expected ones. It also happens in some of our hardware of our production, but others perform ok. We have inspected the components and everything seems identical. We have measured the reference voltage and all the expected voltages on ADC input pins (some are fixed and known) and all looking good too. On the other hand, when I sample only one ADC channel in polling mode, I do not get this problem, the voltages read as expected.Here is the ADC configuration with DMA (source code attached too):
