My system clock is 170 MHz, and my ADC1 clock is asynchronous with a prescaler of 4. This would mean my ADC1 frequency is 42.5 MHz. In the reference Manual of STMH730, on Table 543, page 2825, there's a Port "ETH_PHY_INTN" listed. Where ist that port? Or where can I configure the GPIO to use for it? I cannot find anything in the datasheet.

I have a question when I read the reference manual of STM32F405, and it says that "for odd values of RCR, if  the RCR was written before starting the counter, the UEV occurs on the overflow (which should be underflow  as I have seen in TIMx_RCR function description from STM32F103 to ST... - STMicroelectronics Community)And the reference says that  any write to the TIMx_RCR register is not taken in account until the next repetition update event . So my question is in center aligned mode if it is the first time we write the RCR after starting the counter and when will the first UEV happened ?

I see that Keil is using .FLMand .stldr looks like CubeIDE are those the same ?can I change the extension from .stldr to .FLM and load using Keil and vice versa ?also any idea how to add the loader to keil ?I see that Keil has a lot pre defined loaders only for the DISCO boards I do not see option to add new.

Hello, I would like to pick an MCU based on ETM version available on it. This is needed to try out Orbtrace Mini tracing device. It is stated that its currently support ETMv3.5, also i am willing to test lower ETM version and higher too to check the compatibility. Also i wanted to ask how to understand backward-compatibility spans for different ETM versions. Thanks

We have a custom PCB with a STM32H750 on it with Dual NOR Flash (W25Q12BJVSIM). I have been able to flash the code on all but one board. When I attempt to flash the board with STM32CubeProgrammer, I get a Warning: The core is locked up message. How do I unlock the core? NVIC_Type members are different for CMSIS 5.90 to CMSIS 6.0.0. Member IP renamed to IPR.STM32F1 SPL needs to be modified to be compatible with CMSIS 6.0.0.  

Hi There,I'm trying to set the clock configuration of an STM32L4S5 and have spotted some ambiguities in the reference manual concerning the maximum input frequency to the PLL:RM0432 6.4.4 says the following in the context of choosing the M value when programming the PLL:The software has to set these bits correctly to ensure that the VCO inputfrequency ranges from 2.66 MHz to 8 MHzRM0432 6.2.5 says the following:The PLLs input frequency must be between 4 and 16 MHz. The selected clock source is divided by a programmable factor PLLM from 1 to 8 to provide a clock frequency in the requested input rangeDS12024 6.3.9 Gives a range of 2.66 - 16 MHz for FPLL_IN.My configuration runs the MSI at 48 MHz, feeds this into the M divider for a 16 MHz output to the PLL, which provides an output of 80 MHz. Is this a valid configuration? Should I instead be increasing M to reduce the PLL input to 8 MHz? 

Here comes another query about the status of a HUB device for the USB Host library. I have been working with the driver from herehttps://github.com/moribr/STM32F4HUB/blob/master/Project/Middlewares/ST/STM32_USB_Host_Library/Class/HUB/usbh_hub.cand have the HUB functional but cannot seem to get the MSC initialized and working. Why does STM not support a hub in their HOST Library? There certainly have been enough inquiries.

I'm using an STM32F429ZIT6 chip.In my program, the BUSY bit within I2C->CR2 becomes set and never returns to clear. I have verified on a scope that both the SDA and SCL lines remain high during this time and yet the bit remains set. The SR1 register and all other bits within the SR2 register are 0, which would indicate no error is occurring on the line.After some debugging, I have determined that initializing the SDRAM before initializing the I2C prevented this error from occurring, whereas doing the reverse caused it to happen.The BUSY bit gets set when the program is somewhere within the HAL_SDRAM_Init call. I2C operations before this work correctly. Nothing in this call touches the pins on the I2C line or the I2C peripheral. I've disabled interrupts during this process to ensure nothing is happening within an interrupt.I didn't see anything in the errata sheet:

I try to write everywhere in this memory it works. The datasheet say that the STM32G0J6 flash size is 32Kb and when you look at register 0x1FFFF75E0 it says that the flash size is 32Kb. Is it  normal ?  

Hi,I am trying to read Total 3 ADC Channel using DMA, Successfully completed and tested in Debug Mode. I had connected OLED to display the same in while loop. It works normally without DMA Enabled. i was doing a project and while i trying interrupt in a normal program its working fine , but when inothe rprogram while im running some transmit function in while loop , the interrupt is not recieving and if i commenting that transmit function the interrupt is running fine , in the program i running uart i also using a i2c protocol i debbuged many times and tried many ways but the result is same can any one help me on this  i have linked the files here , first onw is the normal code i run and it worked , but the 2nd one is same but it does int work 

I have implemented a hallinterface (tim 1), to update my pwm timer (tim 8). But the delay i set is rather fluctuating.Disabling interrupt inside of the tim 1 interrupt did not help. And i think, outside of the interrupt it should not matter, since this is only hardware that is not influenced by software really? I'm working on a custom STM32U5 board and I'm trying to harden the system.I followed the AN5347 (https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/an5347-arm-trustzone-features-for-stm32l5-and-stm32u5-series-stmicroelectronics.pdf) in particular I followed the chapter 10 with success as I was able to raise up to RDP=2 with OEM password and back to RDP=0.Then I tried for the second time using the STM32CubeProgrammer instead of the command line as described in the application note, but I got some issues at step 5: Set RDP level 2. The STM32CubeProgrammer did not end the process and got stuck writing RDP=0xCC in the option byte and after ten minutes I forced the termination of the GUI.After that I was not able to recover to RDP=0.Every time I try to send a

I detected that transmitting 68 characters using RS232 at 460800hz takes 30-32000 tics to micro running at 480Mhz (HAL_UART_Transmit() takes 10 times more).Is there a method to disturb less to micro to make that transactions, perhaps using DMA?Is better use I2C, and is possible to use printf to I2C? 

Hi,i am trying to figure out, why this interrupt is delayed that much.The com trigger comes from timer 1, which works as expected. Also the delay here is as expected too (apart from a 50ns deviation). I am now designing a board for STM32F103VET6 and would like to use the FSMC to control the TFT LCD (320x480 resolution)May I ask if there are any notes or guides that mention the layout requirements? Hi,i know the gotcha about the late clearing. My interrupt (yes it currently useless) is so short, that clearing in the beginning would not work either, so i tried to implement a check for the interrupt flag. In order to mute the COMP for some time, I deactivated the interrupt with HAL_NVIC_DisableInterrupt(COMP_IRQn) and re-activated after a certain time respectively.In between I am in STOP2, some uA normal consumption.Now, while the interrupt is disabled, current went up to around 3.2mA.I am wondering what the explanation could be for that. Any ideas?I tried stopping and starting the comparator, but this resulted in unwanted behavior like interrupt being triggered not only on transition but repeatedly when above threshold and not triggering at all when using Vrefint as reference.Now I am using a flag to just return in the interrupt handler if muted, but this is not very efficient as the MCU still is woken up a lot.What would be the proper way to implement this?Best, Robert
