Hello all,   I am using the CAN protocol to read and write data from the Flash memory of one STM32F446ZET6 board to the Flash memory of another STM32F446ZET6 board. I have tried multiple baud rates. All working properly. However, I notice a 25 ms delay between every CAN frame, regardless of the baud rate.  Is this a default setting and/or is there a way to change this time delay?   Thanks! 

Greeetings, I'am currently working on a project consisting on acquiring a TTL signal which could have a change of frequency for the entire duration of the signal. My plan is to use the Zero Crossing algorithms after taking sample each us of the signal  after 3 separate delays in ms after the signal is starting. The signal will go on a GPIO input pin and I will use a timer for the sample. It goes like that:waiting delay1 [ms] -> take sample [us], delay2 [ms] -> take sample [us], delay3 [ms] -> take sample [us]After taking a sample I set the value in a buffer. At the end of my interrupt I have 3 full buffer with the samples and I calculate the frequency with the Zero crossing algorithm, I am using the same TIM20 as internal clock and interrupt to generate my waiting delays and the sampling and during the sampling by modifying the timer prescaler and ARR value and it works so far, I am reading the pin directly with GPIOA->IDR &

can we use internal 24MHz clock for STM32H7A3VIH6Q host or we should use external? Maybe in the future we are going to use USB. Now, just UART and SPI, should I use external to support USB in the future?

Hi,when investigating issues with the DMA, i found, that the prescaler is not working properly.At 128 and 64 setting, the initialization of the ADC does not even finish. Hello world. This is my first post to the forum so please be tolerant if I inadvertently breach local etiquette. I have some experience with RPi, Mbed and Arduino systems but none with the STM32F range until very recently when I was given a few kits to play with. Unfortunately absolutely no documentation was provided with any of them. The STM32F769I-EVAL will serve as an initial example, as that is the one with which I have been playing for a few hours. It powers up and displays lights, some of which flash under certain circumstances, and sometimes appears as a USB disk drive on the development computer. That drive contains precisely one file. A vast range of documentation is available and I have downloaded a selection, along with development software. I am using a Ubuntu 23.10 amd64 system; The IDE fires up correctly, as far as I can tell. I have some problems getting all the information out of the manual.Using HAL is no option.There are a lot of questions (Question are all refering to "Injected simultaneous mode") that cant be answered, or details that are confusing:- When in Injected simultaneous mode, regular conversions are possible, but use the settings of the common registers for dual settings?- Picture "say what": It does not really say how it would behave in that case.- With all the information i gathered, i can not really determine, how the ADC would work in combination with DMA. When i start regular conversions on ADC2, is it then considered dual mode?It would be helpful to have a checklist, or a table, that show what has to be orcan be set in different modes. Is there such information availlable? Or anyone knows of a good tutorial?

Developing on an STM32H563ZI chip with Cube IDE and ST-Link V2.  DEBUG is configured as JTAG with Trace Syncro (4 bits), which is 4-wire JTAG (JTMS, JTCK, JTDI, and JTDO).  My project has allocated pin PB4(NJTRST) as a GPIO.  If left unconfigured, debugging is possible.  If configured as an output, the debugger loses its connection to the core with the execution of the line of code that configures the pin as an output.Why does this happen, when I'm using 4-wire JTAG?  The NJTRST line doesn't even go to the JTAG header, so it's not like the ST-Link is "secretly" using that wire.Is there maybe some option bit I need to set to make the chip happy in debug mode with NJTRST configured as a general-purpose output?

Hi everybody, I would like create a smart watch with a STML031 and a driver for screen ST7567.I'm looking for the best way to make this watch in outline. Particularly regarding the precision obtained for 1Hz.I would like to get as much precision as possible. For this I used a 32.768Hz quartz.Could someone quickly explain to me the best way to go about it?Should I use RTC as Clock source?Should I use the calendar, read the time and display it?Do I have to trigger a switch every second to update the screen?In the final draft I will not display seconds. I'm working on a PSFB converter project and need to generate 4 PWM signals. Currently, I'm using TIM1 CH1 for complementary PWM with dead time inversion, and TIM1 CH2 as a master to trigger TIM8 CH1, also configured for complementary PWM with dead time inversion in slave mode. I've managed to achieve an accurate phase difference between the signals, but I'm struggling to change this phase difference during runtime or in real-time. In the TI C2000 series, there's a separate register for adjusting the phase difference on the fly. I'm curious if there's something similar in STM32, allowing me to program and adjust the phase difference dynamically. Hello all,I'm using STM32L552 MCU and its I2C peripheral to control a board. I'm facing a phenomenal which I not quite sure how to handle that. I have a pretty old fan controller chip on the board which is kind of really slow. Not only it works with I2C frequencies under 100 KHz but also the internal RISC core of the fan controller crashes if the master initiates the I2C transactions to fast. As a result of this crash the I2C lines are getting low by the fan controller. This makes STM32 MCU to assume that there is another master on the bus and there is a START condition. So it waits for STOP condition which is never going to come. In software I receive a HAL_I2C_ERROR_TIMEOUT and the I2C peripheral never recovers from its state.The first workaround was to simply reset the board to make everything clear. Hi Team,Can I use 2 ADCs of same channel configured in same ADC PIN PA3 pin where ADC-1 is at 1KHz trigger timer in timer1 and ADC-2 at 2KHz trigger timer in timer3.

I am using nucleof439 to work Lwip, however, when I configure the project in stm32cubeide, I generate the code, and comply the project. It is fine, I also can ping the device, however, when I reenter ping command from windows cmd, the device is blocked, anybody know why?

I don't understand the goal of pin PDR_ON.From STM32H7 reference manual: I don't understand what "the power on/off reset function can be disabled" means. The product does not go to reset state even if the voltage goes below PDR threshold ?

Hi,I am having stm32F103C6T6 Development Board. When i enable -u_printf_float flag for Float printing on 16x2 LCD it takes upto 15KB of total space .Please guide. what else can be done ? -u_printf_float Enabled : Without Flag for Float   

Using CubeMX, selecting "Start My project from Example" I find 33 examples if I filter for the "STM32F407G-DISC1" Board. I would like to have a deeper understanding of the one named "Demonstrations" I select it and "Start my project in External IDE" and then "Open with Explorer", since VSCode is not an option.Now how do I go from there to upload the code onto my board?I have two questions:I find no IOC-file, I would like to open the project in CubeMX to see how the microcontroller pinout is configured.I find no makefile nor CMakeList.txt, how do I build the project which I need to do in order to upload it?

Hello everybody,I am trying to work with STM32F042G6 with TSL library but have some issues I hope that I made some minor mistake but I think I tried everíthing.I can't get stable detection when touching.I tried to copy a sample project but it was just a slightly improvement, still no stable detection.I'm using STM32CubeMonitor where I watched the variables of the module. The measurement and delta datas seems good for me, at least at a touch event both of them changes relatively large. There are two stateIDs one is this in the CubeMonitor: MyTKeys_Data[0].StateId the other is in the CubeIDE: MyTKeys[0].p_Data->StateId. The first one is looks fine to me it responds good and looks like stable, but that only exists in the CubeMonitor I can't find it in the CubeIDE. The second one I can't monitor directly because on the CubeMonitor it appers only as MyTKeys[0].p_Data and that is a huge value, but it really looks like that doesn't works as res
